I really had the worst customer experience tonight at this location. It was never explained to me that if I lose the receipt, I will not be able to get store credit. I wish I was informed upon purchase of this policy. Store managers would not even give me store credit or allow me to exchange for clothes of similar value. A complete lack of compassion and understanding on their behalf. This company really need to consider retraining staff on how to work with customers. I’m honestly extremely disappointed, considering I drove over half hour to get here and left with having more problems. I hope this will get resolved.

Such SLOW SERVICE!! I mean we have other things to do what is going on. Every time I come in soooo slow and such long lines. I don’t get it. It’s so sad because Zara has awesome clothes. But I just dont want to buy because of the waiting in LINEEEE. Please work on this!

I hear all the time about how rude the cashiers are at Zara. as if it’s a requirement or in the job description. no interaction what’s so ever, she was just talking to the cashier next to her that was checking out another shopper. I’ve worked retail and not even on my worst day or with the worlds hardest customer would I ever basically ignore who was buying from me. I couldn’t help but to laugh after when she handed us our bag and put the receipt in the bag without asking us if we wanted it in hand. she goes “it’s in there” and pushes the bag to us. DO BETTER honey. negative energy is transferable. keep it to yourself.

My wife loves Zara and I tolerate it for her, because that’s what love is. She is always able to find garments that fit here style and my budget, but the store is a bit disorganized in my opinion and the staff only seems interested in helping if they can tell that I will be spending some money.

Went shopping here with my wife and the first thing we noticed when we entered was it was organized chaos! It wasn’t necessarily overly crowded but the store just seemed like it was in disarray. My wife struggled to find the things she was looking for, which prolonged our time there more than I personally would have liked.

I went into the store for the blouse in the window, and only for the absolutely beautiful blouse in the window. The store was packed, the clothes cute and the prices reasonable with good quality unlike the disposable nature of some discount retailers.I asked about the blouse and was told that they were sold out, online was sold out, it was sold out everywhere and no, they could not take it off the mannequin and sell it to me WHATSOEVER! I wasnt asking for a discount, only to purchase the blouse at full price. Apparently itll be taken down in the next month or so by people window that do Zaras window treatments and sold then at a discount. But wait...the company would rather lose money then sell it now? I guess the customer is no longer always right. In the salespersons defense, she was lovely and was only quoting the company policy.

This particular Zara location is very messy and tends to be crowded for some reason. I dont know if its just the location or if the store is in need of an overhaul to get things back to a better condition to shop in. Overall quality and selection is pretty good, but its just sooo hard to find things here when everything is thrown everywhere!

Too bad 1 star is the lowest I can go.I purchased 3 items at the store and wore them once, everything seemed fine. The second time I wore attempted to wear them the button on the pants fell off and the shirt started bubbling up around the collar. I went back to the store and they refused to take it back because it was worn. I explained that I bought it in order to wear them, (duh), it fell on deaf ears. Now I’m stuck disputing it with my bank.

I want to say thanks to Nancy (manager) for letting me exchange a jacket for another size I had an event that night and the store was closed. I made it 5-10 mins after closing time but she was nice enough to let me exchange it out. Thank you.

Pro Tip – Shop online and only go into the store if you absolutely have to. The retail location is messy and grossly lacking in customer service. I know it’s a busy location but as a customer I think most people expect more. Do yourself a favor and just do your shopping on the web.

I was standing in a line for over 10 minutes and when I was about to pay they tell me this line is about to close and that I need it to go down stairs, and they let me standing there without telling me anything. I only had 2 items and the register was still open but they do not accept my items, I just left the store without buying from this store. Been a manger for customer service this is no the way you treat your customers!

Zara was one of my favorites brands some years ago, but as I age, I have to look for other styles that fit me best. Anyways, this store in particular is a very well organized store, it is super clean, and now responding against the COVID19 pandemic situation they are taking health safety measures to prevent spread of virus. You have to wait in line outside the store to get in, while certain, limited amount of people is shopping inside the store. Masks or face-coverings are mandatory. So, you can have the feeling that they are taking of you helping customers to maintain social distancing. Many stores there at the Grove are now open, including Zara.

This location needs to improve their customer service 🙄, i bought a pair of jeans, yes! They were my size but the style didnt look good on me and werE too long, so I wanted to return them, but the sales associate told me rudely they dont do that then called the manager in turn and he also said the same thing, I even told them store credit would be okay since they didnt want to return the money, but said that they just dont do that, and i should just keep the jeans. As a retail store their customer service should be on point.

Manager Mely Melissa Mili whatever. Rudely told me my online purchase is supposed to be returned online. Never heard that before first Retailer to ever say online is to be returned online. She should be dropped back down to a sales associate or STOCK associate because Clearly she does NOT know how to speak to customers. Do they not remember that coronavirus is happening and how was i supposed to return items if everything is closed. As i walked out i saw three more girls outside waiting in line to im surely return stuff with their huge boxes and most likely get the same answer. 😑

I had a great experience from an employee, she just started, it was her second day at the store, she was very pleasant and went the EXTRA MILE to help me find a dress that I was searching for. I did not get her name but it was on Wed 8/28/19. 5 Star service, she was a very petite lady with short brown hair.

This store was the best one so far...the clothing options were very, very stylish and professional. I wanted to purchase one if everything. The store was very clean and well organized. The Hollywood Zara store refused to accept items for return caused by their error. I was forced to order two sets of the same outfits (and an extra suit jacket in case sizes didn’t work out) after I was promised in the Grove, Los Angeles store that they would ship to me and it would arrive before I left town for a wedding - even advising me to forego expedited shipping as it was not necessary. The items did not arrive in time. Since I had no other option, I ordered a duplicate set rushed to the wedding location in Seattle. That arrived in time so I had clothing for the event. After the wedding, I had been traveling for about 4 weeks for work and did not arrive back in Los Angeles until last Sunday, October 28. I visited the Hollywood Zara store with my duplicate suit and items and asked to return them for a refund. The manager refused and told me to go home and call customer service. I refused and asked her to call customer service in the store. Again told no. Zara originally gave me false information on shipping times. This could have been prevented by better training by Zara and more flexibility of their management. This blame should not be on me. I will NEVER shop there again.

One of the better Zara Ive been too. Its big with a nice selection of items. Theres also a mans section. It can get a little crowds on the weekends and there might be a what for the fitting room.The staff at the register is fast though which is nice. Its a clean store mostly tidy and the staff is friendly.

I love zara, I love the merchandise. But this location is borderline disastrous. I went to return a pair of shorts (with tags, without receipt) - they wouldn’t accept the return in-spite of proof of bank statement and purchase date (and even bargain of a more expensive exchange) - fair enough! The system is strict and the policy reinforces that. Went back to hotel, found the receipt, returned. The staff at the return desk upstairs were as bitter and unpleasant as they come. I understand a long and hard day, I used to work as a waitress - 12 hours a day 4 days a week. I know what it feels like to be absolutely shattered and still have to pull off a sincere smile. The manager (who was training the employee) was twice as horrific as the employee - I TRULY can sympathize with the territory of a customer service based job but this was next level disinterest. She didn’t look at me once, spoke to her trainee with poor and bossy regard and seemed as if she truly stumbled unto this position out of Zara’s desperate need for a manager. Honestly pathetic! I thanked them anyway and received a “yeah, no problem” as if she was forced to say so. I was agitated as ever - these employees obviously don’t understand what it means to cultivate or nurture loyalty with good service, and what a shame that is. Embarrassing for this store and Zara. Best of luck!

Rude customer service. Woman continue to walk into us putting items away. Never asked if we needed help. When we asked questions was quickly given a sharp response. Went to try on a shirt. Where she sharply told us a warning about trying on the shirt while no one attending the fitting room. Told her it was too late and walked out. Leaving product behind. Completely ruined my experience as well my repeat business.

Zara has literally no return policy as they find all kind of excuses NOT to accept returns or exchanges, on their own cheap, low quality products. On BBB they have ZERO times replied to filed complaints and scored a big F! Boycott Zara at all cost!

I love this store and its selection of clothes. They have been understaffed due to over-popularity of their brand. While waiting forever in line we heard in Europe they staff way more employees.The dressing rooms are not designed to try on a lot of clothes. Get in get out unless you like big crowds. More than willing to bump this up to a 4-star review if they hire more staff. Be prepared for long lines checking out.

Drove all the way out here from Riverside for a shirt. I called to verify they had it and the right size. They did but it was against policy for them to hold it for me. I got there and the sizes were marked incorrectly. Sales person was not very helpful when I asked for assistance and pretty much let me know she was done with me when she started talking to someone else while I was asking a question. Waste of time.

STAY AWAY! The world worst Zara store you could ever see. I bought a pant and I found out that the pant is torned from the knee. I went back to replace it with a good pant but the menager refuse to do so. I will never come back to this store. Also, the manager was very rude. She know nothing about customer service

Horrible sales associates. Asked for a pair of sunglasses and they said we dont have them. I said the one on the mannequin does. Its a outfit of the day..... really infallible logic to have in stock if its on the mannequin. Be carful where you shop. Bought a suit for my wedding. On the way home, the receipt flow out the window.The suit ended up not working for all of my groomsmen. The store and their corporate office basically told me that once they have your money, their hands are tired by their policy that they can’t do anything. In my experience working in retail and JoshLQ90 shopping in general, that his is the worst policy I have ever experienced.If you want a good customer experience, please take your business elsewhere. After the sale, they do not care about their customers.

I have never see a Zara so disorganized. Clothes were all over the floor. The Men’s section is a joke it’s literally a small little area on the second floor. And good luck trying to find someone to help you they were clearly way understaffed and for a busy Saturday that just shows how unorganized this location is. What a shame

Came here on a weekday during their clearance sale. Other Yelpers talked about the lack of customer service here and while I did not find the staff to be inviting (no one greeted me upon walking in), I didnt find them to be exceptionally snooty either, just blasé. Hopefully management will read the latest Yelp reviews and encourage their staff to be more appreciative of their customers -- after all, they are the ones who provide their paychecks.I discovered Zara years ago when I was traveling around in Spain so Ive always kept an eye out for them. I like how they have the latest trends in clothing - somewhat in the vein of H&M, but a bit more upscale in my opinion - without the über expensive designer prices. Totally scored during this shopping foray with a silk blend shirt for $10 (normally $40) and a dress shirt for $20 (normally $60). I dont think I would pay regular retail for them however.Situated in The Grove, the second floor also had kids clothing. Again, like the adult clothing, it is trendy-bob stuff that I knew my back-to-basics daughter would never consider wearing. I suppose this saves me money in the long run however!
