I only come to the Pico location because of Eva. She is absolutely the best with customer service. Super patient and has excellent command of the store. She never makes me feel bad for being picky and takes her time to make things perfect, and always with a FANTASTIC attitude! I had a problem with my prism and she was the only one that was able to figure it out. She also knows all the products in the store very well. I was looking for specific glasses and she went to the back to find them!!! I wish more stores had people like her
An absolutely stellar experience. The glasses purchased were for my aging father who required special attention. Rob and the crew at this location provided an excellent experience for a somewhat difficult situation. I cannot thank them enough for giving my father the special attention that was needed with patience and utmost professionalism.

Came in to get an eye exam and glasses. Doctor was very friendly and answered all my questions. Pat was also very helpful with finding the right lenses for my frames. He made it such a fun experience. Also, Ava gave great suggestions with which frames I should choose according to my face and preferences. They gave great tips, and I’m so grateful for their help!

I have been going to the West L.A. location for at least 10 years because I work in the area. My most recent visit was to find a new pair of eye glasses. I have to say that Pasquale was great!! He greeted me from the door and was very engaged and intentional in assisting me with finding the perfect pair of glasses. I am very indecisive yet he was patient and did not make me feel rushed throughout the process. I now have the perfect pair of glasses and could not be happier. Thanks Pasquale!!
Eva was a great help. I had an emergency. Her primary concern was keeping good optical health in order. She added a human element when it came to assisting and providing contacts in a short time frame. More people need to be like her.
I must say, Being greeted by Robb who helped me get the soonest appointment during an emergency time saved my life. i was able to see an optometrist & get same day prescription glasses.Robb is Very well informative & respectful. I went here today to fix my glasses today. The lenses kept popping out and needed new screws to hold them in. Jenny helped me and she put new screws in. It took less then 5 minutes. When I asked her how much she didnt charge me at all. Not even a tip. Im so thankful since I havent worked since March 2020 because of pandemic. But I needed them to drive and the sun bothers me a lot when driving. Thank you Jenny, much appreciative!!
Today was my first time seeing Dr. J she was very Knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.Then, I was helped by Pat who gave me honest feedback and was very helpful with the selection of frames that I had in mind.I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.Overall experience 10/10
Went to LensCrafters for the first time since my fiancé has been going there for 20 years the actual eye exam took a very long time to get me in but once it was done I was able to get glasses fairly easy. Originally Mario helped me out and he was great and then Pat took over and was amazing he helped us out a bunch I had originally only bought myself 2 pairs of sunglasses and he helped me buy the third pair for my fiancé. After I bought the glasses I had I thought I had an issue with my order and called Pat back he quickly dealt with the issue and explained it to me thoroughly and we took care of the problem quickly and professionally over the phone, thank you pat!
Everyone at this location was so friendly — Jennie was so personable when it came to explaining my options for lenses and I didn’t feel pressured to get any add ons. She made recommendations based off of my needs, it was greatly appreciated! (:

My wife and I ordered our frames at another Lens Crafters and were referred to Robb to get the lenses done here since they had the facilities for making the lenses. As we were passing through Los Angeles for only a few days, the staff went out of its way to have our four pairs of glasses ready to go the next day. Just received the worse service at this store! A man not wearing a tag yelling at me telling not to touch the glasses, with a terrible attitude not saying please or thank you at all. To this store I will never come back for sure! I was ready to purchase another pair of glasses but felt so uncomfortable that I left!

Called ahead, browsed sunglasses for roughly 30 min, then after selecting a pair of sunglasses I was informed that their system was down and I was unable to purchase anything in the store. I’m very disappointed, especially considering I could have been told this on the phone or before browsing. I feel this was very unprofessional, I’d suggest going somewhere else since you apparently are unable to purchase anything at this location

I came in without an appointment to have my contact lens prescription updated and they took me in without a wait. I picked up a great hydrating contact lens brand for my dry eyes. The front staff was very accommodating and Dr. J was great. She was extremely thorough. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a perfectly fine eye exam but started to notice the sample pair I was given at the conclusion of my exam felt weird and dried out my eyes in three or four days. These were bi-weeklies, i’ve been using the same brand for years and have never had this problem. When I returned to the store to pick up my lens order I told the very rude girl at the front desk what happened and she reluctantly offered to replace the sample pair. I headed to the bathroom that I used during my exam and she proceeded to yell at me, telling me that this was not the right bathroom, and stood over my shoulder watching me as I placed the lenses in my eyes. I apologized but she continued to be nasty and then escorted me out of the door. I guess this is what I get for giving them $300 worth of business.
Nice, clean store, not crowded, good selection of frames, kind, knowledgable staff. Do not like their warranty policy, only 30 days. You need to pay extra for a one year warranty. Should be included with purchase, especially when paying hundreds of dollars for a new frame and lenses.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was able to get in and out in about an hour or so. They had my glasses ready in about an hour as well. I will definitely come back. This is the best LensCrafters in town.
Dr. J is an amazing optometrist! She was incredibly knowledgable. She saw a hole in my retina and referred me to a retina specialist that lasered the tear and saved me from a possible retina detachment. The staff was also very friendly. Thanks for the great service!
Trust the service here at your own risk. I ordered a pair of Tory Burch frames online and went into LensCrafters for a free adjustment. They broke the earpiece off a $500 pair of new glasses and would not offer an apology or replacement. No liability was mentioned prior to the service or clearly listed in the store. I would have ran if I knew they assumed no liability and didnt properly train employees.The other pair of glasses I asked for a minor adjustment on ended up with earpieces bent back two inches, rendering them severely ill-fitted and uncomfortable. The associate said they didnt break 9 out of 10 pairs - meaning theres a 10% chance (or higher) this could happen to you. I am skeptical of the service/training and would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere to save money and a major headache!
Great place to get your eyes checked and glasses made. The staff are not polite or even welcoming. The store smells of chemicals and should be better ventilated. Maybe its the smell thats giving the staff a bad attitude.

I had no idea what I wanted when I walked in (besides new glasses) and the lady who helped me at first took the time to find out what I liked and then found me a bunch of different brands to try on within my budget. She even waited for me to get responses from friends and family I was texting about my new look. I was told the glasses would be ready in about 2 hours- took a little longer than that but they had a small waiting area with couches. A lady who seemed to be the manager checked in on the status of my glasses and got someone to make sure they fit correctly, etc. It was an easy process and Ill probably be back again.
I recently had my glasses stolen so I needed a new pair and called this location spoke to Edith over the phone since Ive purchase my specks at another lens crafters so they had my prescription ... placed my order over the phone the following day I picked my new glasses and I was attended by Edith.. point is that she gives A-1 customer service over the phone and in person I dont know her title there but if she isnt a manager lens crafters should look into promoting her

Horrible customer service and policies. They only want your money! I had my eye exam and glasses made at this location a year ago. Recently while on vacation outside the country, I lost my glasses so I called the store to get my prescription emailed to me. I was told that I would either have to come in person to pick it up or have it faxed to me?!?! The associate was completely unsympathetic and rude! 1st, I’m in Uruguay! 2nd, who has a fax machine anymore! They don’t want me taking MY prescription to have glasses made somewhere else. So they make it difficult in hopes that come back to them, guess what I’m never going back to LensCrafters! VisionWorks will have my business from now on!
2 hour metered street parking in front. Good service and decent selection. They will be glad to compare your insurance coverages versus using their sales discounts to save you money. They also have lenses ready in about 2 hours, so its a relatively short wait to have a complete set of glasses ready to wear.
The eye test itself was thorough and well performed. However, the staff in general seem disorganized and confused. They also have a new computer system which the assistant kept blaming but I think they would have been this disorganized in any case. It was very slow. I was kept waiting for my appointment for nearly 45 minutes. I kept being quoted different prices (Im still not convinced if the price I paid upon ordering my glasses is correct) and then I was told that I would have to wait 10 days for the glasses to be made, then they said oh no, they will be ready in 2 hours. They said they would text in a few hours to see if I wanted to come back and collect them later that day. Then they phoned me to say there was a problem with the lens and they didnt know when they would be ready, but they would call me. That was Saturday and Ive had no call as yet on the Monday. Ive just tried calling them and Ive been on hold for 15 minutes. Oh and then they said they would repair the right arm of my previous glasses, then they said they wouldnt. Awful service. Ive yet to get the glasses.
I got my glasses from this store. I was told it has 2 years warranty. Due to low quality, after few months it broke and I came back to the store. I was told they can not find me in their system. How continent. I don’t have time to go to court or take legal action.

I decided to never come to this store ever again despite its convenient location. The guy on the phone is so rude! He hang up my phone calls for several times for checking if the glasses are ready. And finally he said its not ready. Later, I find out the glasses have long been ready for pick up. After all its been two weeks. So, the fact was he lied just to get rid of me over the phone. Im very baffled. What have I done to deserve this?
I would put zero stars if I could. I purchased a new pair of glasses and asked them to not make any adjustments to them. That they were comfortable the way they are on display. The salesman instead bent the part of the glasses that goes behind your ears down about two inches. They tried getting them back to their original shape but couldnt but said since theres no actual damage to the glasses they wont replace them. I wrote to lens crafters and got no response so now I will encourage anyone and everyone to avoid this store and the company altogether.

The optometrist was great. However the rest of the staff could use some work. I waited 10 minutes before I was greeted, I was literally standing right in front of the lady while she was looking down at some papers. The appointment didnt take long, quick and easy.Afterwards, I looked around for new glasses and one of the ladies rushed me because she said I had to pay for my appointment right that moment. I ended up paying and then continued to look for glasses. I found a pair I really liked, then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for someone to help me. After finally being helped with the glasses, I asked about contacts and received different information from all the staff, none of them seemed to know how much they actually cost and what the actual discount was on them. While they discussed it among themselves, another lady told me I had to pay for my glasses while I waited for the info on contacts (I was already planning on buying contacts too). So once again I made another transaction. Then I received the correct info, or so I was told, for the contacts and made a third transaction.I came back an hour later to get my glasses. The lady handed them to me and didnt even ask if I needed them adjusted. She just walked away. Already frustrated from the earlier encounters, I left. I tried on the glasses at home and they fit completely wrong, they fit great when I had tried them on earlier that day at the store.I came back the next day to have the glasses adjusted, one could clearly see how off the glasses were. The manager helped me out and she just couldnt seem to figure out how to fix the glasses. She ended up telling me that we couldnt adjust them anymore because the plastic would get too soft from all the heat she was using. I think she ended up making them worse. One of the hinges that folds the glasses is severely messed up. Im going to go to a different LensCrafters and hopefully receive better service from people who know what theyre doing.
The staff is apathetic and incompetent. While checking the frame/lenses on my current glasses, they had to remove my previous lenses from the frame. In doing so, they damaged the lenses and put the lenses upside down and backwards. I had to go back and had them fix. Then, when I went home, the lenses popped out and I had to go back to LensCrafters to have them put the lenses in again. But now, the lenses are permanently damaged and the frames are no longer flush with the lenses and there is a gap in between the lens and the frame.When I went to complain, they said Its impossible they could have done this and essentially called me a liar to my face even though my glasses were perfect before they handled it. After they handled my glasses, they were damaged.Before this mess, I did order a pair of glasses from them, but even the pair they gave me had a scratch in the center before I left the store. At this point, I thought this place was a complete joke and returned everything on the spot.I also had to have my prescription checked again because it was not right the first time. However, the optometrist on staff was nice and wanted to help me fix my problem, unlike everyone else in the store.Its a shame that the optometrists, who are generally nice people, have such an incompetent staff around them.
I have been to a few glass stores in LA and this is THE WORST one. rude. helpless. out of imagination. definitely avoid it. forever.
My glasses are less than a year old. They have never been dropped, and I have never used anything but soft cloths to clean them. The store records were changed indicating no warranty. I know this to be a non truth because I had to replace them once before and pay a deductible. You guys are rip off artists to say the least. I have never spent this much on any product that wasnt automatically covered for at least a year. Very disappointed in the lack of ethics or pride in your workmanship. I had coatings on my previous glasses that lasted at least 10 years with no scratches in the coatings.
I have had excellent service and attention over the years, buying glasses and contact lenses. The staff have been most accommodating and always address my needs and concerns.... even if the wait-time is sometimes more than preferred.It is most unfortunate that the branch seems understaffed, which is probably the reason for those unhappy reviews below.
I come here and bring just about my whole family, there appears to be a New Dr. which is very friendly and knowledgeable and new management. I will continue to bring my family to this location Natasha and Serin are very friendly.
