Cute store, my daughter loved the store and wanted a shirt but it was $50 very expensive. Didnt get anything but it was cute and clean.

Pretty medium sized store, with an hour long wait time and youre only given 20 minutes to shop due to covid. The employees do keep track and let you know when you have 5 minutes left and when your time is up so it is a lil nerve wrecking. Either come early or avoid the weekend crowd.Some very cute stuff and clothing. Not alot of pochacco or other character. Mostly hello kitty, gudetama, the devilish feminine character, cinnaroll

Im went at 3pm on a Monday and I wanted in line for 20 minutes to only have 2 parties go in front of me. I still had about 20 people in front of me. That would have been an hour wait, store is cute but not worth it

This store does have cute stuff to buy but its just too pricey,I dont mind looking around, but to buy I can waste $100 here and more likely I would leave with probably 3Small items and still be broke after.

Make sure you dont try to exchange or return anything. I bought a gift for my friends kid, but I found out she only likes pink, so I went back 2 minutes later and they would not let me exchange colors. I understand sales are final, but I just wanted to change colors 2 minutes later. So I spent $150 dollars on something that my friends daughter wont like.

My girlfriend Ling really wanted to visit the Sanrio Japanese Village and buy some kawaii trinkets. The line was ridiculously for such a small shop and the wait was probably more then 30 minutes (not the staffs fault). The store itself didnt stock a lot of stuffed animals which was what Ling wanted to get or even just some enamel keychains. You are better off buying from their online store than going here.

Its Hello Kitty!!!! The Store was super cute and I had to go in! There is a bit of a line but it wasnt a long wait. They did limit people shopping inside so it was worth the wait!

Hello kitty world! If you like things cute, come here. Located in the Little Tokyo outdoor village.Hair accessories, socks, purses, pillows, stickers, clothing galore. This place is kawaiiiii! (Cute) The employees are really nice, and are great at offering suggestions for what you’re looking for. Because honestly, there are so many little knickknacks.The store is basically divided into brands and also different colors. They have Hello Kitty in all her stages.Display cases near the checkout desk change constantly because they’re always getting new items in.Find street parking a block or two away.

Beautiful and really worth waiting in line. However the items were kind of expensive. I bought a very small keroppi plushie and it cost about 10 dollars.

Super cute store! If you are a fan of Hello Kitty or any Sanrio character this is a must go to store for you! They have so many things you could buy. Im definitely coming back again!

This store was super cute, the staff is great except one person was a little rude (FYI youre not allowed to record in the store). Overall I had a good experience here.

This store is absolutely adorable however the prices are very high and the staff acted like they were better than me. food and drinks not allowed in here.

I was a little disappointed when I got there and saw they mostly have clothing items but if you a fan of sanrio clothing, I definitely recommends this store

It had a total of 4 pompompurin items. I was really disappointed in their selection of items. Mostly apparel and little to no stuffed items. Pretty alright if you like keromi, my melody, hello kitty, or cinnamaroll, but even then, limited selection.

Merchandise seems to be shifting with more focus on the main three (hello kitty, aggresuko, and gudetama) and clothes. Normally my trip to little Tokyo always ends in an addition to my sanrio collection, but the last three trips I didnt see anything worth the designer prices.

I found hard to find items in this location. I picked up some merchandise for my collection & I went home super happy. The staff is also really nice & super helpful too.

I cant believe this Sanrio location still exists. After the successful launch of the Sanrio website, most Sanrio stores have now closed. Call us old, but we still enjoy physically seeing and touching a Sanrio product prior to purchasing. Theres something magical about getting the item that we really wanted (but never intended on purchasing prior to entering the store), even though prices are slightly higher than the Sanrio website (if you can find the same item, I mean, they have to pay rent and staff salary...). Definitely a great store to visit if youre in the Little Tokyo area, especially if youre looking for some instant gratification.

Nicely decorated shop with a great assortment of old and new sanrio characters, loved the assortment of gudetama merchandise along with the retsuko items I wasnt expecting to see!

I absolutely love all the special events they have here. A great place to go to for exclusive merch on hard to find brands, like the Aggrestko pop up shop! Very clean, organized and generally has a wide verity of products. Sign up for their emails to get notices of when special events come around so you can plan to go when it opens. They sell out of small sizes pretty fast unfortunately.

I like how they organize the store by character so it’s easier to find items!I bought a cute Aggretsuko sticker/decal the other day.Plus!!* There’s a Sanrio Penny Press machine near the entrance! Get your penny stamped for a cute, quick, & cheap souvenir!

The website says it closes at 7, but they close at 6. also we got there at 5:45 and despite being told they were open on the phone, the worker didnt let us in. very disappointed since i travelled relatively far to get here.

Cute store but they always seem to be unable to sell you what you want to buy. Good thing Amazon has everything and for less than the store would have sold it for.

Customer service is the worse at this store, their inventory is very low and old. Very pricy as well... The store managers Alice and Rose are super rude and behaveas if there is no other Sanrio in the world! They even bug you whe you are shopping telling you every 5 minutes that your time at the store will be up, seriously? Please go somewhere else!!Sanrio store in Monrovia has a lot more merchandise, no shopping time limit and the girls there are very sweet

The staff gives you hand sanitizer before you are let in. And there is a 30 minute time limit for shopping so that others who are waiting in line to get in do not have to wait too long. The staff are helpful and the store is clean and in neat order.

Cute store! Hello Kitty galore!

First time going here and loved it. The employees were super friendly and welcoming. I couldnt be happier with their customer service. The store was well kept and lots of items in stock. Its a little smaller inside to walk around with a stroller just for people who have smaller kids with them.

Small shop but very cute. Exclusive merchandise I dont usually see and have to get online.

Sadly, this is one of the very few Sanrio stores left in the US. =(The customer service here is exceptional. I remember growing up and going to the Sanrio stores and the service was subpar. The associates here are very helpful and knowledgeable of what they have in stock. Its a large store and well organized. There is a lot of items to choose from as a Sanrio fan.

Ive loved Sanrio since I was a little kid. Coming to this store finally was nostalgic. Although I thought the store would be bigger, they had all the characters. Prices were cheap to expensive. Staff was nice too. Loved coming here

Very friendly staff. Great place to get elongated coins or pressed pennies as some call them. Very few machines are left that you are able to crank. They have 4 different coin options. You get to press your own penny for 51 cents. The store is always busy as it is an official store. Get all your awesome Sanrio items in this quaint little store.

The Japanese village is a great place to shop. My boys found some great Pokemon cards! Full of rich history and the Japanese American museum I cant wait to check out!

Its an official Sanrio store, you know what to expect.Still I wish they had more variety on sizes and items. But even in Japan we had a hard time finding different products.

Fun atmosphere. Very amusing. The Japanese Lifestyle Center has excellent organizational supplies and the beauty products are a cant miss!

Theres always fun events at this location and not to mention a lot of super cute surprises.

This be the Sanrio spot for us out here and not in Japan as far as I know. Something to check out if you love Sanrio. Bring quarters and penny for penny crank machine ;)

This place is clean and full of deals for those lost souls who enjoy Japanese culture, food is great and not so crowded. Will have been a 5 stars but while I was there I completely miss a car crash behind me.

You get to press your own penny for 51 cents. The store is always busy as it is an official store. Get all your awesome Sanrio items in this quaint little store.

Very clean and easy to navigate, especially compared to some of the other stores in this area. I understand those cluttered and dirty layouts seem typical for Japanese culture (Im from Hawaii and its common there at least) but this place was a far cry from it. Nice staff. Wife is a hello kitty fanatic and freaked out when she spotted it. Took home probably the softest plush of hello kitty we have ever felt.

Something for all ages, clean and safe environment. Nicely decorated.

Okay so let me start of with customer service ive never had any problems here everyone is so sweet and helpful! My gripe with this location is they have the least interesting store layout and dont update thier instagram regularly like other sanrio instagrams, so i have no clue when they get new items i have to go myself to find out.it would be much better of thry posted thier new items. Pls keep us updated on new items🤧 im still giving 5 starts bc i love all the sweet employees💗

Amazing. If your looking for a fun, interesting and authentic Japanese experience in LA, this is it!!! My gf flipped for the Sanrio store. But the food, the shops, everything from authentic Japanese grocery stores to retro gaming stores, anime shops, cosplay outfits, you name it, it’s here!!!

Cool little shop

Reopened after several weeks, redecorated and under new management. The product selection is somewhat different with less jewelry and fashionable accessories and more sporty and cutesy items.

The cleanest, most well organized Sanrio store ive ever been in.

If you grew up going to the Sanrio store for this little surprises than this will be a welcome step back into your childhood. This Sanrio store is an explosion of Hello Kitty and her friends. They have everything from the surprise bags to luggage and luxury items. Save your moola and hit up the jewelry.
