I buy hundreds of thousands of dollars of supplies from hydroponic suppliers and the owner here, JT, has consistently beaten every single quote I’ve handed him. He’s beaten Green Coast (I shop there sometimes too), he’s beaten D&S in Oakland... He will beat any price you bring him and he tries hard with customer service too. He’s given me a few leads on plumbers and stuff. Great shop, great owner, and I recommend re-bidding your big jobs with JT before dropping half a million on a new grow. He will save you real money.

Downtown Hydro is an awesome shop in downtown LA. Its a good size shop with everything you need to start and finish a successful grow. They also carry a bunch of extraction equipment which is cool. Very knowledgable crew that will answer questions!

The staff here will have the knowledge and ability to help you understand what is good for your plants and what you do and dont need. You can explain what youre working with and your budget, and theyll get everything you need to get you guying. The prices are surprisingly affordable and a limited but wide variety of nutrients and other stuff for your growing needs. As a new grower, this will be my go-to place for any of my needs for as long as i grow in Los Angeles. Thanks guys!

Been growing since 2012, and by far the highest prices of any Hydro that Ive been to. The only reason I gave 2 stars is the girl that helped was very friendly and helpful. Not enough to get me to go back though.

Store more centered around for growing weed, but other plants can also be shown love with store..If you join thier free membership, theres a discount. I dont know if actually cheaper than other stores but nice to know that there is a discount while shopping here.

Friendly, helpful and honest staff, overall pricing is competitive with eBay, Amazon, WalMart etc.But slowish service, held back by a slow computer (at least it was very slow when I came by). I found them when Atwater hydroponics (apparently) closed its doors and Greed Door Hydroponics moved to a very-difficult-to-get-to location.Sadly, they are shifting their sales to larger-volume sales and are phasing-out smaller-volume items (they can still special-order, but you have to come in and make a deposit before hand).

The staff is awesome and super helpful, but they dont really have much for anyone but commercial growers here. If you dont have a full hydro growhouse, this may not be the best place for you.With that in mind, this place seems perfect for anyone with a medium to large grow operation. I cant stress enough how nice and helpful the staff are. They just didnt really have any of the dozen or so things I was looking for.

I purchase a product and they didn’t want to return my money even that I never used the product.

The store has a very helpful staff and very knowledgable on plants and very friendly service, theyre New Big Location is very impressible and they got a Large Inventory and cheap prices, if they dont have what your looking for or want they can special order it no problem.

I agree with the first review just advoid this place if you can bad over all service ok one chubby bearded guy seemed to know what he was talking about but bad over seedy element from the rest of the people and small organic selection, like I said just keep driving to many other hydro shops to shop at this one.

Make sure u do ur homework...they want 4 time the price of something u can get almost anywhere...also customer service wasnt great either.. wont be coming back
