Located at little bangladesh the food is not bad. But if you are a healthy individual and very health conscious this place mat not be suitable for you. The meat curries are very greasy, but there is also vegetarian option. The man manning the food counter is super friendly. When you are here dont leave without trying their cuppa, the tea.

I had the privilege to eat at this restaurant in 2020 & 2021. The food is authentic Bangladeshi food. The staffs are super friendly. The price is also very cheap compare to the amount of the food they serve you.I flew from Louisiana to los Angels-one my target was to taste their food. As always, all items at Kasturi restaurant is super awesome !

I dont recommend their hot food. To great and that tasty. Also if you go there for the Halal meat, the guy offered pork in the prepared food.

It was our first time in Little Bangladesh, and we really liked the food at Kasturi. Its simple, economical, and tasteful. They also sell Bangladeshi groceries,sweets, and seafood items. Overall a nice experience 👍

My favorite restaurant. Variety of choices to choose from. Everything is delicious but my favorite is the mixed vegetables and the goat curry. Clean environment. A peaceful place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Most importantly affordable and respectful and fair people. I’m here almost everyday for breakfast just $6 with tea. Lunch combo $7 with rice.

BEST BANGLADESHI RESTAURANT IN LA.I have tried almost all Bangladeshi restaurants in Los Angeles, so far this is the best one. Food quality and taste is mouth watering. Some items are very SPICY, like beef biryani, but most of them are mild spicy. I highly recommend this place over other bangladeshi restaurants.

This eatery section of this place has potential; hope owners will be creative enough to tap into that! The tea and snacks were good (singhara, moglai). The food was nice but the presentation brought the experience down, with everything served in paper plates and mugs, in a not very creatively or charmingly decorared space. Felt like it was more a hang out spot for the private friends of the owners, not a lot of service-mindedness. The grocery shop section however was well-stocked.

This is the place where I always go to eat something fresh and good. We had a thanksgiving party so we ordered from here and it was satisfying every penny.Their kacchi and Tehari is the best

The cleanliness and quality of meat from the market side is horrible. The people working there use the same gloves to go outside and unload meat from the back of a van as they do to open the doors and package your meat. The display cases are dirty and not even cold. I dont know how this place passes any health and safety inspections.Dont call yourself a halal grocery store if you arent even as clean as the regular grocery store.I havent eaten on the restaurant side; this is only a review of the meat section.

Good and cheap Bangladeshi restaurant. We ordered tea,pakora, paratha, goat curry and aloo bhaja. Paratha is very large in size. Indian groceries are also available there.

This place is pretty solid for a hole in the wall grocery store/counter-lunch kind of spot. People are friendly and they have a smattering or Indian groceries you’d be hard pressed to find elsewhere.The tandoori chicken is THE BUSINESS and its kinda cool to be able to order it a la carte for a low price. Samosas were bomb as well. The chai was super milky and not my fave, and it’s not exactly a date spot, but for a samosa snack or super casual light lunch, it’s a yes.

Great location for South Asian ingredients with spices far more affordable than at one of the large supermarkets like Vons. Havent tried the hot bar yet but it smells fantastic.

Very good and testy food. Specially Tehari and Nehari is better than other Bengoli restaurant . I give 5 star very rear. But I give 5 star because not only for food quality but also owner and employer nice behaviour too. Except meet prossecing guy. Only they need to improve little bit clean the restroom. I recommend this restaurant for eat best quality and best price than any other Bengali, Indian and Pakistani restaurant .
