I always order online, orders are always here in a reasonable time, always arrives safe. I usually only order from music plaza and they never disappoint

It was my first time at this store and they had everything even older kpop albums that I have been wanting for a while. I will definitely be ordering online since I am from out of town! When I visit LA again, I will come back!! Staff were friendly and they were willing to help me find my older kpop albums. :)

Love that you can do in-store pick-up for pre-orders and general items/merch. Online prices are usually 2-3$ cheaper, but their in store prices are still very competitive compared to some of the other music stores in the area. Staff is very friendly!

Ordered through their online after hearing from a friend they were very good. I usually go to this place when I visit LA and always come out with something. I live in Arizona, and after ordering on a weekend it took about a week to get to me. My two albums even came with some giant photo cards, and it made my day.

This store is great if youre a fan of Kpop! It Has a wide variety of items and albums from many other bands and artists! Customer service is friendly and nice, and albums are somewhat affordable. Highly recommend going here if you want to collect albums in-store.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to order albums from. They are always timely, well packaged, and the personal touch of cute stickers or cards makes me really happy to support them. I recommend them to anyone looking for new and older albums and especially if you are a poster collector!

I recommend Music Plaza because they have a good selection of kpop albums. Ive ordered from them a couple of times now and I havent been disappointed!

For as long as I can remember, this place has been around. I needed a gift for a nephew whos a huge kpop fan. I tried looking online but wasnt pleased with the selection choices for the price. This store had better options and pricing that werent too outrageous. The reason for the 3 stars is the wait time to enter the store. I understand that due to covid only a certain amount of people can be in the store. And the store does have a sign that states that the max time in the store is 15 mins but no one listens to that and the store workers do not enforce. Im not sure if it is different on a weekday but if planning on visiting during the weekend, plan for at least an hour.

If you are a K-Pop fan, this is a must go place! The selection of current and older albums is huge, I love pouring over older albums that they have in stock! Lots of official merch, light sticks and DVDs as well. Music Plaza is one of my favorite places in LA!

I actually emailed them once they did reply back but I asked another question no answered at all I tried to email them again no answer so there’s no reason of me buying here

So happy I stopped in! They have so many BTS and BT21 goodies. I spent about $125 and they threw in a few freebies including stickers and a BTS shopping tote. Ill definitely be back!

I love this store!! I come here every time I come up to Downtown La. They have a very nice selection of albums/mini albums, so many different light sticks, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming when I asked questions. Def would recommend to Kpop fans in LA or if youre coming here for the first time :]

Angelina was extremely helpful; even when we were asking for individual albums we spotted from the doorway, she was very patient in checking for us and overall very courteous. We were also able to find older albums that are sold out in most places for a good price.Highly recommend this place for both products and customer service.

I ordered $179 worth of items back on December 07, 2019, from Music Plaza. Ive never ordered from this store and I now know I will NEVER order from them again. I completely wasted my time & money with little to no help from this company.I also ordered $80 of items from Choice Music LA (both these stores are in California) 4 days after. Over a week ago I received my order from Choice Music LA.On December 19th I received an email with no contact information from Music Plaza stating 2 (of the same) items I ordered are magically out of stock even though I ordered them 12 days prior to this email.....We are writing you to inform you that we found that your order is currently on hold because the Loona Poster is actually out of stock. We are sorry for the inconvenience. It seems like the online store system didnt show the stock correctly. We wanted to know if you wanted a partial refund for your poster and receive the rest of the order or refund for the whole order. Please let us know.....I used Amazon Pay, so I put in a claim ticket to get my money back because when I contacted Music Plaza with the only contact number I could find (which is their direct store number), the employee at the store told me to contact the Online Store Support Number.... which she gave me and no one answered.Either way I have zero interest in waiting yet another 2 weeks to help this company do their job. Im a customer (whose money they already have) not an employee. It is not my job to fix their website.All the time I wasted waiting on these items I could have ordered them more than a week ago if anyone ever bothered to say something 7, 10, 12 days earlier.Im sticking with Choice Music LA when it comes to ever buying kpop merch in the US. But from now on Ill focus on South Korea stores as I have for years. These US stores are limited and a joke.

Excellent online customer service. Ordering an album on mobile, I accidentally selected in-store pickup. When I emailed the store asking to cancel my order so I could reorder, they were able to simply change my shipping option and invoice me the additional cost. They were incredibly professional, quick to answer, and very helpful. I look forward to ordering from them again in the future and maybe visiting the physical store one day too.

I called up Music Plaza yesterday, asking if they still had pre-order benefits for TWICEs More & More album release a few weeks ago. They answered yes, unlike surrounding K-Pop stores, so I decided to buy my TWICE album here. Unfortunately upon checking out my album, the cashier said they do not include the More & More pre-order benefit anymore. I was a bit confused, but since the price was still reasonable, $21.99, I still purchased it here. Along with the album, I was given an unfolded TWICE poster, an official Tzuyu photocard from the pre-order benefit set, an unofficial Sana/Jihyo postcard, and an unofficial Mina sticker. Im glad that the album came with the poster for free (usually $4) but I wish the cashier was less misleading on the phone.

I always order from music plaza online because I live so far away, but they are amazing!!! They ship my albums quickly and they always package my albums really nicely. They also have really great service! I called to make sure my order was placed and wow they were extremely nice!

Bought from here twice, once online and once in person. Everything ordered online came perfect and well packaged. I loved it! Went to the store in person while I was on vacation in LA and it was so clean and well organized! I just put in another online order and I cant wait to get it! ^^

Im not sure what that review who said customer service sucks is talking about. I go at least once a month and Ive always had amazing customer service. Even when Ive had to take my 3 year old with me. She was getting a little crazy and an older lady that was helping me have her a fan to entertain her. Which I really appreciated. There is always someone close by to answer questions and everyone is super friendly. I definitely recommend this store to anyone who likes kpop!

But when I DID, once my order was CONFIRMED, the product ends up SOLD OUT and I get refunded for something I have bought BEFORE IT SOLD OUT. Your communication needs to IMPROVE. Ive never been in the music store itself. I found this guy on Instagram kid milli. He is so crazy good!! I havent bought a cd in over 20 years probably!! This guy is so good that I dont even know the words and bought it. He also uses art with the cd!! So Im way excited!! The cd came out this week my order has already shipped. I dont even know if they play this guy on us radio but he is so bomb!! Im updating my review when it comes in Friday!! But Im very pleased to find something I thougyt would be hard to get in the us!! This guy is so popular a guy said in Korea he got the last one in the store already!!

So many albums, posters, photo cards, pillows, and more from all different idols, new or old. New albums, merchandise, and more is added into the store very often. There are many items with a very reasonable price, but obviously the more popular and high-end items are a bit more expensive. I love coming here to buy k-pop merchandise. Its just an all around amazing place to buy all your k-pop needs.

They do have everything Kpop but I didnt feel any kind of love at this place. Customer service can either be good or bad but this place didnt give neither which I have to say is worse. I kinda felt insignificant. To sum it up merchandise is good but the vibe was harsh and uncomfortable.

My teenage daughter loves this. If you are looking for BTS merchandise or K-pop this is the place to go. Very nice and friendly cashiers. Be ready to drop some good money because everything is on the expensive side but overall great place.

Been a guest here multiple times and I have never once had an issue. The staff is always helpful and they give out a lot of little goodies when you purchase something. It varies on the merch you are buying but it’s still really nice. Things are a little over priced but I understand why they are since the products do come from Korea. I’ve been coming to this place for almost ten years now (I was sixteen when I first started getting into kpop) and I have never once been disappointed. Please keep up the good work!

One of my favorite stores to get albums at.The store has an extensively catalog for many groups, current and disbanded.The staff are courteous and helpful. They have recently changed their organizition of the albums, which drastically improved the experience, as it had previously been difficult to locate albums, as there was no real organizational process.A great place to go, as they tend to have a lot more albums across a groups history, than its competitor Choice Music, which is more likely to have only recent albums. A Hanteo family participant, so your purchases get counted for Music Show performances!

Music Plaza has a large variety of K-pop albums and merch so its great!I come from a town where theres only one K-pop store and buying K-pop albums is pretty pricey but Music Plaza has great prices so its always great when I can go!

Always have to stop here for my kpop goods, its also next to a bakery which I love and is in a mall sort of place. I think weekend parking is free but if you go during the week days be sure to ask to validate parking.

I was really impressed by the selection! If you are buying a light stick I recommend testing if it works first. Ask nicely, they will help you :)

So, I cant take a picture to show you because theres a no pictures rule but!! This place is amazing! 💝💝 they have such a wide variety of Korean music and I think I even saw stuff for dramas?? But I went there right before the monsta X we are here In LA concert and was able to buy a mondoongie for $10 less than what they sold it for AT the venue!! And because the concert was happening, they were giving away free MX merch with every MX purchase. The staff was great, the store gets really really crowded but its a good atmosphere and theres always music playing. They could stand to tone down the BTS a bit though! Just a little 😊

Many items were out of stock. What I loved was, they gave you a lot of free stickers and promo cards. The more you buy the more u get.

The customer service is terrible. the workers arent very helpful, nor are they engaging with their customers. instead, the staff follows you around EVERYWHERE without a word, which gets annoying real fast and makes me not want to spend my money. itd be nice if they asked if you need assistance with anything or if they greeted you, but instead you get nothing and are instead followed like youre a criminal. over it. dont waste your money here, not worth it.

First time shopping at music plaza . I will return. They had a great selection of K-pop music and apparel. Busy busy busy. Be prepared to be overloaded by allllll the stuff in the store.

My expectations were a bit different (being as it was in Koreatown and it was all BTS and TWICE merch) it was not exactly what I was looking for... but the workers were very nice, bilingual, and if youre into mainstream Korean music from any era (there was music sectioned in shelves from the 80s, 90s etc), then this would be a good place.

I went here for the first time this month, May 7th, after being informed about this place by an acquaintance. I was pretty happy on how much stuff they sell, from albums to posters and all other kpop goods. I dont buy albums or anything kpop related online, as I wanna see it beforehand before buying it, so I was really happy finding out about this place, and to find the albums I wanted to get being available. So I didnt hesitate and bought them, 3 albums total: 2 BTS albums(Answer & MAP OF SOUL:PERSONA) and HIGHLIGHT album. I was so happy after getting it, and wouldnt wanna open it after buying it, or wait until I get back to my city.But just today, May 25th, I decided to finally opened it all, and was really really really sad to find out that all the albums I bought have NO POSTERS in it!!! None on all of it!!! WHY???😱😭😭😭 I am really sad and devastated!! All I can ask is WHY and HOW the albums they sell dont come with posters?😔😭***Edit: I did email you guys about the issue I had but unfortunately, I havent received any response at all. In regards of you guys selling different versions of albums, it would have been awesome if there was a sign regarding that or have your store employee inform the customers about your selling method, as there will be a lot of new customers like me that comes in and check out your store.

DO NOT BUY ALBUMS HERE! Bought a BTS Love Yourself-Answer album which was supposed to come with a poster. We noticed the shrink wrap was loose which was strange but bought it anyway. Upon opening it right outside the store, the poster was missing. We went right back in to tell them and they gave a fake excuse by first saying that it was because posters only come in preorder cds, thats a lie. Then they said that only the American versions come with posters claiming that this cd was a Korean version, also a lie. My daughter noticed that the posters for sale on the store wall had fold creases on them just like the ones that come folded in the albums. My daughter also saw that the BTS poster that was supposed to be in the album she just bought was up on the wall for sale! So what they do is open the albums, remove the posters to illegally sell them separately, then shrink wrap the album back without the poster. No wonder the shrink wrap was loose when we bought it because they took out the poster and rewrapped it. When you buy a BTS album at any legit place such as at Target, the shrink wrap should be tight. We asked to return or exchange the album because it was missing the poster but they said no. What a deceitful way to do business. They know what they did and refused to refund or exchange the item that they tampered with. Will not be doing business here ever again. BEWARE buying anything here!!!
