Great work, great communication, very reasonable rates. Took my Matrix 12 in for some routine work and am completely satisfied. Boomer is the real deal.

AMAZING SERVICE and CHEAP TOO! Boomer is a genuine vintage synth and drum machine Geek in the best possible way - an electronic ninja working to keep the analogue funk alive. He popped open my vintage Roland 808 on the counter in the shopfront when I walked in and diagnosed the issue in about 5 minutes. Being an ex-Roland tech (and fixer of Dr Dre’s 808) he had Roland proprietary equipment - Re reset my memory and added all original shop presets from 1981) and the fact that he actually knows how to make music with the gear means it gets tested properly too. He charged me $600 less than another well known LA electronic music gear repair shop quoted me, and did it in a few days. He did a great job, I can’t recommend him highly enough. He’s honest and cheap and quick and passionate about music. Do yourself a favour and start here if you have analogue gear to fix. If he takes your repair on them you’re good to go! Thank you Boomer!🔥🔥🔥

So much love for this place. I went and got a quote that I paid $120 for at another music shop. They quoted me $1000 which was ridiculously overpriced and predatory.I dont know who it was but someone at LA Synth Co walked me through troubleshooting and it seems like a fix it on the way...at no cost really. If there ever is a problem you better be sure Im gonna take my synths here. Theyve got a loyal customer for life.

Stay away from this business. This guy has the worst service. This dude needs to stop being unprofessional. I hardly think this dude is fit enough to do repairs.

I can’t say enough good things about Boomer, he’s very knowledgeable, humble and honest. If you have a vintage synth that needs repair and you would like to have it back quickly and save yourself the headache from other shady repair places then bring it here. Boomer diagnosed the problem the same day and gave me a very reasonable estimate for repair. My Korg Polysix was fixed in two days and was good as new back in my studio. Now here is the horror story I avoided: I called Rob at Rosen Sound and told him about my problem, his response was that Korgs are very hard to work on and have many problems. He wanted a $200 non refundable down payment with no guarantee that he can diagnose the problem, no guarantee that he can fix the problem and no time estimate on when he can even start the diagnose process. Folks this is NOT how you run a repair shop. Please don’t fall for these kind of technicians! They will waste your time and only rip you off.If you have a vintage synth and it needs repair always call and talk to a few repair shops, read honest reviews and don’t fall for people who talk a big game with zero guarantees.I am very thankful I found Boomer, as he will be my go to tech in LA!
