Mike and Joe in the service department are LEGENDS. While driving down to San Diego, my brand new F250 started to get the Death Wobble (google it if you dont know what it is). The closest dealer was Santos and boy am I glad I stopped there. Mike and Joe stopped what they were doing and got me taken care of right away. They knew the issue immediately and also knew that sending me down the road was extremely unsafe. Not only did they get me safely back on my road trip, they were able to finish it an hour faster then anticipated. Forever grateful for Santos Ford and the amazing service from Mike and Joe.
They had my vehicle for about a month. Every time I called to speak with service department I wouldn’t get no one. I had to drive in person to find out the status of the truck. I finally got my vehicle back and was told a service advisor would be calling me back soon, it’s been about week now and no call. Poor customer service.
Mike and Jeff in the service department really did a great job trying to get the cruise control working in my van. I had seen it done on YouTube and they tried to make it work in the real world, which is more than another dealership was willing to do. When it didn’t work Jeff jumped up and ran to service to see if there was anything that could be done. I’m so used to people just saying “it’s not our problem” and that’s that. Jeff’s professionalism and great customer service helped me deal with my financial loss and disappointment. He was also very honest with me about the situation and what the next steps would be. Brian in service was also very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the install to me. Thanks again!
I have gotten 4 new vehicles here. One was for my daughter who lives in Sonora, got her car the extended warranty they have, best decision we made. They have honored all the repairs that were brought to there attention. I just got a new Edge from there in August and I love it. I described to the salesman what I wanted, they did not have 1 on their lot, but I got exactly what I wanted 2 days later. Thank you Santos Family for taking care of your customers!!
I wish I could give 6 stars! This morning I bought my RV in for an oil change and a possible windshield wiper adjustment. After the hood was opened, the technician basically found the air filter just laying there due to the previous technician in Florida breaking a part. After a little adjustment he was able to fit it back on. Then my RV is not a typical high of the ground model. Again the Ford folks reviewed, adapted, and overcame all obstacles. One more time the windshield wiper adjustment was problematic, but after conferring with a teammate, the problem just melted away. This is some of the finest repairs I have ever seen in my 63+ years on this earth. A hearty BRAVO ZULU to all concerned.
We drove 350 + miles to trade in our 2017 F350 Dually and purchase our beautiful 2019 F350 truck. They gave us a great deal for our trade and sold us the new truck at an awesome price! Long story short long time customer until now they waste your time and do bad work they replace parts not needed so you keep going back and bad communication. Everyone in town knows they cater to the rich white farmers and push your vehicle to the side. They charge 3 times extra for the parts its a fact check for yourself call for a qoute. Dont go there find a honest mechanic. They hide behind the name ford.
STOP!!!! MUST KNOW!!! I serviced my vehicle with Santos Ford because of an engine light. The diagnosis was a bad turbo charger solenoid. They repaired it, claimed item is not covered under warranty. I paid the fee. I drive 10 miles down the road and my engine light came on again. They took the car back and claimed it was a loose hose. This could have been avoided if the mechanic had test drove the vehicle. Documentation proves he did not test drive the vehicle. Mileage going in and out of service are exactly the same.A few days later my undercarriage cover fell out on the road. I had to run across a busy street to get it of the road!! EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!! I new this was there fault as well because they were the last ones to service me car and the undercarriage had to be removed to access the turbo charger. They took the vehicle back and replaced it with a new one.Weeks later I take me car to another ford dealer to service my car for a engine light. Mean while I had them look into my warranty. They ran the part number in the warranty system and found it is 100% covered parts and labor. I contacted the owner of Santos Ford. He did not like my line of questioning as to why I was charged for warranty service. He gave excuses and never owned up to it. He eventually got made, cursed me out and hung up on me. I complained to ford corporate. So far it has been over 2 weeks since my first complaint with the owner. I have not been reimbursed for the service charge.
They really try to scam you, if you come here to get your car serviced. Really rude and no help at all . Get your car serviced somewhere else . Avoid this place .

Worst dealership ever. I do not recommended ANYONE to go to this dealership, Santos Ford, for ANY of their sales or service needs.The representatives who answer the phone calls lack customer service skills. Overall, the attitude of Michael Nolan, service advisor is HORRIBLE. He ruined their reputation, and left me with a terrible impression. Michael Nolan does not care about any of his customers, he lacks customer service skills, product knowledge, and respect.My husband and I mentioned numerous times we were on a time crunch, he never followed up with us one time. Left us in the dark.The experience was absolutely disgusting. Huge waste of time. We are never coming back.

My name is Buster Hewlett. I just read a scathing report about Santos Ford. This report was rather disturbing to me because I am the one who referred my daughter Kim to go to them, trade in her unsafe car and get into a nicer vehicle. I have personally done business with Santos Ford for years and everything has always been as “right as rain” and still is as far as I’m concerned.The report didn’t say anything about Santos Ford taking a free loaner car to her and picking up the newly purchased used vehicle and taking it back to Los Banos and putting new tires, battery, and anything else it needed to make it right for my daughter. Santos Ford paid off her old car loan of $6365 to get her into a better car. Her old car is not worth close to that, but Santos Ford went above and beyond to make the deal happen.After all of this, Kim’s fiancé convinced her to back out of the deal and buy a different car from a different dealership. I know they got this car cheaper, but now she owes Santos Ford $6365 to make it right.Batteries can go bad, especially when the cold weather first hits. There was a mistake made on the tires but Santos Ford was taking care of it to make it right. I was never unhappy with Santos Ford in any way, and for the record, I was the co-signer on the vehicle for my daughter.I was happy with the original deal that was made. Due to a recall, I had to drop off my car. I had to call just for them to check the drop box, then it took me calling again for them to say “well we didn’t have the parts and your car wasn’t fixed” Now I’m not mad at the man I spoke to on the phone, it’s the people who failed to check the drop box, and failed to communicate this information. It is ridiculous

Dont know how they got me aproved but they did.I had been car searching and running my credit to try n get back on feet with a car for work. Because of my work it had to be a more recent vehicle. I bought a used truck from these guys last year. Very friendly people and felt like I was treated very fair. My truck recently lost the transmission. I brought it back to Santos Ford and their servicer department really stepped up and is taking amazing care of me. I will be buying my next truck from them and I highly recommend them to any one.
They used to be great but they suddenly changed. They used to be honest but now theyre not. They had some major staff shakeups just recently. Bruce is gone, for instance. They seem to have forgotten who they are or how they succeeded. Courtesy just disappeared.

A service dealer stuck in the 70s. service plans and maintenance are totally manual. No Automation, and i bet the computers are dos based. The building is not set up well for waiting. check in is slow and costumer service concepts are a bit foreign.Sales department will lie to you from the owners sons mouth to your ears anything to get you to buy. Upgraded shocks and manual override on automatic locking hubs.... And not filing financial paperwork release of liability until you are in collections and have to do it yourself!NO TIES AND ALL LIES!!!!!!

Jeff the salesman was really nice. Would definately recommend him. Was in no way pushy and overall was a really nice guy. They would not negotiate at all on the price of the truck, but it was not listed as overpriced so it was ok. Another thing they didnt fill the vehicle all the way up after buying only $25 worth, and with a diesel thats not much. Those are the only two downfalls about this dealership. Overall tho we had a good experience here!! And got my husband his dream truck. :)Also the guy in finance was super nice! Im blanking on his name tho.
I always research the cars I want to buy on the internet before before actually looking in person. I found the Lincoln MKZ I was looking for on Santos Fords lot. Since it is a used car there were a few little cosmetic issues on the vehicle that most car dealerships and cars salesman would say these are things that come with a used car, however Jeff at Santos Ford asked if I really wanted this car & what he could do to make me comfortable with buying it. I told him my concerns with the cosmetic issues & went out his way to ensure those things were fixed at no charge to me or increase on the sticker price of the vehicle, just so I was comfortable with my purchase. I love my new MKZ & Thank everyone at Santos Ford for their great customer service.
Took my car with engine light on . only send under 200 at a tire shop for them to look at the problem for 3 month... Took it to ford . thinking that they where more money but experienced .. Had it for 3 weeks paid under 900.00 dollers and my engine light is still there and the problem.. I dont know whats going on.
Did a great job on vehicle replacement and were very willing to work with me on a reaquire vehicle problem that took a lot of effort and skill, even though they were doing it all as a courtesy.This is the difference between working with a small family oriented small town dealer like Santos, rather than a big city dealer like Lithia that doesnt really give a damn about the customer, and it really shows. What a great difference between Santos and all of the other dealers we brought this challenge to.Bruce Neimi is an expert and the company workhorse. Bruce went to bat for us and didnt quit. Their motto is, No Suits No Ties No Lies, and they lived up to it.
I recommend Santos Ford because of the helpful, fast and friendly service. We are very happy with our new car and will return in the future.
!!!THESE GUYS ARE A JOKE!!!!!***RESPONSE***Unfortunately, even the response from Santos Ford is untruthful. Fortunately however, other readers can see that those at Santos Ford can and have no problem denying claims made against them in other 1 star reviews (which only confirms the level of unprofessionalism utilized by Santos Ford of Los Banos). My review was extremely accurate, hence its length. To add, we have all documents, including one where Santos Ford tried to readjust (scribbled over) the dollar amount they claimed to have paid off on the 2014 Focus. Yes, I also have a certified copy from the bank stating the true amount paid (does not match what Santos Ford claims to have paid)! Santos Ford was indeed aware of the condition of the 2014 Focus and its negative equity, which was being rolled over to the new loan. We gave Santos Ford plenty of opportunity to make the deal right. Santos Ford in Los Banos was forcing us to take an unreliable, damaged and unsafe vehicle that was no better than the one we were trading in and already taking a loss on. As Santos Ford had admitted in their response, they did have to send a tow truck (!!!of course at their own expense!!!) to pick up their vehicle that failed to start. Lets review: the car was not running, had prior damage to the front fender and door that had been repainted but disclosed to us, upon delivery the car had 10,000 more miles than we were told it had, the tires were damaged and had not been replace with new ones as promised, I had to run Junior to AutoZone in my own car to buy cables to jump the new car the day he delivered it, the car left my fiance stranded at work after dark because it wouldnt start, the car had a very strong and horrible smell that resembled a dairy farm, the front seat was stained and there were several blemishes inside and out. We were assured the car was extremely clean when Junior had it brought up from Los Angeles. Santos Ford claimed they had put the car into their shop to thoroughly inspect it before delivering it. This was not the case! Despite our poor experience, we did ask if the Santos Family would find us a different vehicle, one that was reliable and in better condition so that we may still give our business to them. Instead, Michael Santo gave us an ultimatum take it or leave it. We made the decision at that point to take our business to elsewhere, as anyone in our position would have. The competitors (Lithia Ford in Fresno) were able to put my fiance into a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED cleaner, safer, more reliable car of the same year, make, model and comparably equipped WITH a warranty for $3,000.00 less. Oh, did I mention it also had 2000 fewer miles AND the competitors threw in free oil changes for life. The competitors were able to overcome all that Santos Ford was unable to in a fraction of the time. It is unfortunate that writing a review such as this is the only way to get any sort of a response form Santos Ford, as all other prior attempts were unsuccessful.

Called my hubby regarding our car being repaired in this place & I cant imagine how much they are charging us. Its way too much & too expensive. The Rep told my hubby their reasons & excuses like picking up the parts in Merced.Anyway I called other auto repair shops (& a relative of ours who is also a mechanic) regarding our total repair amount. The PRICE IS DOUBLED and regarding the parts they are usually delivered in the shop. This place is recommended by Triple A 🙁BUT WE WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. I WOULD RECOMMEND AUTO SHOPS SOME WHERE ELSE EVEN THOUGH ITS FAR.YES, you did the job HOPEFULLY BUT VERY, VERY PRICEY!In addition just googling it to repair or to replace a car alternator is around $400 to $600 with labor & parts.

I went to buy a car new or used yesterday and apparently they couldnt help me with payments n deposit i was asking for they said it was impossible with my credit well today i went to Momentum Chevrolet in San Jose n i was able to get a brand new 2017 chevy spark ls lower payments lower interest rate then santos was offering and 4 times lower down payment. Santos Ford is a joke with lazy salesman!!!!
