We highly recommend this company. We were traveling on a Sunday and our car broke down on Hwy 5. We called 3 places, one was too busy to see us, the second did not answer their phone and there was no recording and the third call went to Advanced Service & Repair. He took the time to listen to what I told him and reassured me it was fixable. The repair price was reasonable and he was able to get us back on the road quickly. We were all women traveling and we all felt that we were fairly treated by this business. If I lived in the area this place would be where Id take all my cars. Thanks for the great service!

I was having problems with an oil change. A&A All Pro around the corner was using the wrong (tiny) oil filter on my truck. But Advanced Service took care of my issues. He made himself a new customer because of his generosity and insights to my issue. On my return visit, I had to leave my other car overnight, he did the work, but my wife noticed that our rear brake light unit was cracked/broken. Turned out the car got hit in his lot, but he was staying mum on it until we called him out on it. He also did some behind-the-dash work, but did not put the dash back together right, so we have a permanent reminder of our business interactions with him, with a gap in our center console. Sigh. Great prices, does what he can, but sometimes, being a one-man shop, can be hard to reach if he has to take personal time. We would not go back to him due to his trying to hide the broken tail light, but he did replace it at his own cost.

Jesse is amazing....My alternator decided to stop working on the 1-5...My car limped into Los Banos. From the AAA gal who directed me to Jesse at Advanced Auto repair, to the tow guy who got me to the Auto repair shop to finally getting to Jesse, everyone was wonderful. Jesse is a fine mechanic and had me back on the road within hours...I am SO impressed by his kindness, honesty and expertise.Thank you Jesse, dont know what I would have done without you!!!

If you live in or near Los Banos and Jesus from Advanced service and repair isnt your go to guy, youre making a big mistake! First off hes open on Sundays and secondly you can trust that Jesus will do everything he can to make sure your taken care of. Last Sunday I broke down on I-5 on my way back home to San Luis Obispo from Sacramento. I was towed to Jesuss shop. The part needed to fix my truck was supposedly on a two to three week national back order but he found one on the East coast and had it shipped next day. To make a longer story short Jesus took very good care of me and I couldnt be happier! He made a bad experience not so bad! Great mechanic and a super guy!

Friendly guy seems to know his stuff and has reasonable price

Very terrible. I called and was greeted with hello? And after saying hello three times, I finally asked for someone that would be able to help me. I was then talking to someone that didnt repeat themselves, at first. Once i asked them that I wanted a brake inspection done on my 96 accord wagon, they asked me id say, four times if thats what I was asking for. I ended the phone call in frustration because the person I was speaking to put me on hold out of nowhere while i was still speaking, which is extremely disrespectful. I ended up calling another shop, which would be Sms Auto & Truck Repair. They were professional and got right down to the point and gave me an estimate in roughly a minute. I would not recommend these people.

Never ever going back to that mechanic took my car and when I picked it up it was super dirty it seems like they went to test drive it to a sand place they left the inside with tons of sand
