Rhoads is the only place I use to service my Ural. Their work and care are excellent.
Chainsaw and leaf blower repair. Good work but backlog due to demand.
My husband and I purchased our bikes from Rhoads Motor Sports in September, 2013. We must admit that we didnt know much about motorcycles at the time, but once we met bob, we felt comfortable that he would point us in the right direction, and he did. We purchased two bikes from him and have been very happy with both. We return to Rhoads every year to get them inspected, even though it is quite a trip. This is because we are happy with the service and we trust him. Last year, when we needed tires for the bike, bob put them on and gave us a great deal! This year, we actually upgraded my husbands bike and again, received a great deal. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! We really enjoy going there and Bob and his son have helped me (a new rider) with different riding and safety tips. But, dont just take our word for it, visit them yourself, and say hi to Bob and his staff and tell them John and Louise sent ya!!!
We bring out 2008 Harley there everywhere for oil changes, inspections ect. I love the no hassle, no sales pitch way of business ...If your bike needs something they give you a call not just spending your money .They fix you right up and do it right!!! Example, I forgot to inspect my bike so on this holiday weekend Called Rhoads, Jordan answered said drop it off and we will do our best .next day I just got a call before 10 am and its done.Same quality work you get at the dealer withNo garble about this is bad that is bad ...its so nice to see someone who is Happy to have repeat customers!!!! Great job guys!!!
Rhoads is the one shop near the Lakes Region that I trust with service on my motorcycles. I normally do my own maintenance but dont trust myself with wheel-off services, and am more than happy to leave that to the professionals. Bob and his staff are knowledgeable and professional, and above all honest and friendly. I can always count on them to perform quality service for my beloved machines.
Drove 2hrs to look at a bike and theres a paper sign on a chair in the doorway that says sorry closed for 3 days with no other explanation. How about a notification on your website? The shop next door was open so I was able to at least see the bike I wanted to look at. Bike had some light damage from going down, scrapes, dents, and worn out components that were not described on listing at all. Bike had not even been cleaned. Not the type of bike I would bother to even look at if they had described it accurately.
Very pleasant, and affordable. Speedy work performed on my motorcycle, and very knowledgeable
Didnt seem really interested in selling me a bike. No room on the showroom floor to look at the bike they had. The bikes were not overly cleaned and looked like they had been taken in trade and just had a tag put on them. I will not shop there again.
Great repairs and service at very affordable prices. Even at peak season my bike was back on the road in a timely manner.
These bad reviews are from people who have no idea what they are talking about. These guys are knowledgeable, affordable, and no nonsense mechanics and sales. They wont B.S. you about anything they have or they can do. I brought them a 79 XS750 that had been on fire, exploded the fuse box, couldnt start or run, and they got it all together and running in better than average time for a price that was under the anticipated amount. If you want to go to a place that is going to tell you anything to make a sale or increase the amount of time, parts and labor, by all means stay away from these guys. But if you want truthful, no B.S., fair work done well for a good price, I would suggest you stop in at these guys location for your next used bike or work on your bike. I travel 40 minutes to these guys for work if that says anything, when there are 3 shops less than 10 minutes from me. Thanks for the work guys!
I shopped around trying to find a bike I liked and found it at Rhoads. The salesperson new what he was talking about and really helped me in picking out the right bike for me.
Great place to do business with, friendly and respectful people
Great service & fast turnaround!
Recently, I started looking for a smaller motorcycle repair shop that I could trust to work on a 2015 Harley Davidson FLHTK (my pride and joy), other than the larger dealerships that cost you an arm and a leg. After much research and calling several shops to try and get a “feel” for them, I ended up deciding to give RHOADS MOTORSPORTS Inc. on Route 106 in Loudon, NH a try. My “project” was to have an aftermarket reverse gear installed in my motorcycle, which was a task I chose not to take on myself after reviewing what it entailed. While speaking with the owner/operator (Bob Rhoads), he offered me various options, made suggestions and gave me what I felt was a fair price to install the best part for the best price. Bob called me as soon as the job was complete, and when I arrived to pick up my motorcycle, he took as much time as was needed to demonstrate the new device he had installed to insure I was comfortable with its operation, and if I had any questions before I left. Throughout my interaction with him, he was friendly, professional, knowledgeable about motorcycles (all brands) and I was very pleased with the quality of workmanship he performed on my Harley. You may have to leave your vehicle there for a couple of days for repair as they are a small operation, but I will definitely return if/when I need future work on my motorcycle and would recommend Rhoads Motorsports Inc. on Route 106 in Loudon, NH to anyone who is looking for a repair shop for their motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, etc., especially if you want someone you can trust to work on your “special toy” after it is out of warranty and you are tired of being overcharged by dealerships.
Horrible service, knowledge of motorcycle was a joke. I will start off by saying I have bought more bikes then I would like to admit. While, I prefer private sales I have been to/purchased from pretty much all the dealers around. This is by far the worst I have been to. It is small by appearance which is not a big deal, I dont mind a mom and pop place. When me and my fiance arrived we saw what appeared to be the bike she wanted to look at (2010 Buell Blast). Instantly I found an issue, the advertised pictured had shown an aftermarket exhaust on it and the bike at the shop had a stock one. Ok so lets see what the sales person has to say.We go inside and we are greeted not the friendliest but not rudely either. We mention we are interested in the Blast and ask if that is the same one advertised online as it is missing the exhaust. The sales man responds he doesnt know and goes into an office to talk to I am assuming the owner or manager. To which the guy in the office replies to him loudly for us to hear it had a crappy pipe on it, we through one on we had laying around. At this point I am done here, but this is my fiances purchase and she was excited about the bike. Now we go out side to go over the bike and the sales man pitch to us is, and I cant make this up. It needs a new front tire, we have one for it, itll come with the bike.At this time I ask him about the oil leak and I get the look and response of what oil leak. To which I wiped my finger across the rocker box and showed him the oil which was now dripping down my finger. He got down to inspect it and said oh it is just the rocker box gasket. I questioned how their company goes through the bikes they sell and his response was we ride them to make sure they are road worthy. I believe this is the only bit of truth to come out of his mouth as the bike looked as if someone traded it in and they took it and just slapped a for sale sign on it. I personally expect more out of a shop, I own a shop in Concord, NH and would never run my business like this. When it came time to talk price he tried to sell me the bike at the full retail even after I pointed out things they missed in their evaluation of the bike. Now apparently we had to play telephone between the sales guy and the man in the office until we agreed upon the price. Now my low score isnt based on the motorcycle, it was her purchase and she is happy with it knowing I will be fixing somethings on it. I am just disgusted with the non truths and lack of good customer service. I will not return.PS There was another customer in there complaining after just picking up his bike from service and it running poorly. Their suggestion? Just ride it, see if it gets better.
Knowledgeable, professional AND affordable!!I would recommend them to anyone!!
Avoid at all costs! Rude, unprofessional salesperson!
