Was very happy to find fresh lemongrass and galangal here! This is a very well-stocked store, everything I could ever think of needing for those recipes with ingredients you cant find at a mainstream grocery store. They also have a huge seafood section which I didnt even get to on this visit.

Awesome variety of produce, meat and fresh seafood to chose from. You can almost find everyhting youll need for food and appliances. Well worth a visit. Cash or card allowed.

This place is like a warehouse of Asian food. They have a good collection of fresh fish. You can get Pompano fish for a reasonable price. The frozen dumpling section is also very nice.

This place is amazing! It has all kinds of fish, different cuts of meat you cant find other places, and a huge selection of produce that you also dont find everywhere! It has a wide array of spices from different countries as well! You can buy duck head, pork blood, beef shins, chicken feet, octopus, squid, cuttlefish, durians, fresher seaweed, and more!

My husband purchased a bag of lychee and a box of fresh crawfish from this store. Many of the lychee were rotten and most of crawfish meat were decayed. The store should not sell such poor quality merchandise.

Great asian super market. Im hooked on Pho beef, chicken or vegetarian. Tried dragonfruit and durian fruit. Great place for fresh fish and seafood.

Love Viet Hoa Market! I get all of my Korean, Japanese, Chinese and other Asian drinks from here. I also buy all of my ingredients I use for the Korean food I make. The staff is always sooo nice and helpful as well. My Fiance loves their fresh Seafood and Fish. I go atleast twice a week 😁

This market is amazing! They have such a huge selection of items from fresh food, packaged food, frozen food, and even a fresh fish market with live crabs, bass and lobster. The store was very clean and organized. Will definitely be going back soon!

Definitely chef heaven. Go. It’s worth the trip. Just watch they don’t throw your groceries. I hate when I carefully pick out ingredients only to have the cashier treat them like rubbish. I have called to complain. I expect it to stop NOW.

Great, great international store. Just about anything you need for Asian cuisine and Mexican staples can be found here. Fresh seafood and hard to find produce in abundance. Prices are extremely reasonable and so many interesting things to find and try. Highly recommended

Absolutely love it here. Its the best Asian market Ive been to outside of growing up in the SF Bay area and I make trips from across the bridge because they always are stocked, fast and friendly. Couldnt recommend enough.

Awesome store for a variety of foods you wont find anywhere else. My biggest issue is many, many items do not have pricing on product or shelf. Items that I probably would have bought if Id known the price.

Great supermarket for seafood and fish and other stuff

Fresh produce was a bit sketchy as some vegetables and pre-packaged veggies had visible mold on them. Otherwise, I found certain bottled sauces and spices that you cant find at regular grocery stores.

Has all the stuff I need and some fun extras. Though make sure to check the dates on things.

They have good prices and good selection but it isnt easy to move throughout the store. its very congested.

Not bad, found some hard to find items. The live blue crab and live crayfish have a lot to be desired. Numerous crabs had no legs, some just barely alive . As for the crayfish, no appeared alive. Most covered in flies.

Awesomest place in Louisville for fresh fish, Veggies and Fruit, packaged and imported asian groceries from Vietnam, China, Korea, Japan, malay - - - even have a Philipino section! They have everyone covered.Mega Wall of frozen items - Fantastic butcher and Fishmonger areas too.Imported candy - drinks - snacks - condiments.List goes on and on!

The only i go to to get groceries. Nice big selection of foods. Theres also Filipino foods here!!!!. Fresh meat, poultry and pork. And live fish.

They have a large selection of Asian foods, especially things you cant find at a regular American grocery store. But I was disappointed in the food safety standards we saw during our visit. The fresh produce didnt seem to be kept very cold because the fresh turmeric we wanted to buy was all moldy, and most of the lemongrass was moldy too.

Great selection and variety but at a cost! Higher than average pricing compared to other oriental markets in the city. This is probably the only marketplace that has a good live seafood selection in all of Louisville and that makes me sad.2 less stars for lack of customer service and two checkout lanes with only one in operation most of the time.

Came here to buy lemongrass, turmeric, and a few other items. All the produce was moldy and expired. The temperature at which they store their produce is well above acceptable safety limits. We do not plan to return unless every other Asian market in the area goes out of business. Even then... If you must shop here, skip the fresh items and check the dates on everything you buy.

Great place, great items but the service needs to be improved.

I was not happy with my experience here. for one the store was vert dirty and was not kept well and for a place that carries produce i would expect better, as most of the produce was rotten or had a smell that it shouldnt have. Two, The employees seemed very rude and not helpful as i was looking at items, the employee that was stocking gave me a rude glance. And the cashier ignored me even as i was in front of him for like almost 30 seconds, even during scanning my items he was constantly on his phone and had his earphones in very disrespectful and very unprofessional. He even threw my receipt at me. Never coming back here! ill drive the few extra miles to go somewhere better,

My favorite Asian market! Ive noticed theyre missing some products they used to have, but they still have a large variety. Their frozen selection is amazing.

Several things I bought were expired. One had been opened and sealed back with tape. I am very sad because I live too far away to get reimbursed. Also, some kind of bug was on the spice container I bought. I spent so much money and not happy with my purchase.

Flies inside the store, some produce is old, otherwise decent selection. Lower prices on many items elsewhere. Most of the prices are reasonable, though. Viet Hoa Market sells some produce items that you cannot purchase year round at kroger or other popular grocers are available here such as kabocha squash. They do not take Debit.

Largest Asian market in town, you can find pretty all the food ingredient in typical asian cooking. Very reasonable price as well. They also sell live fish in the seafood section.

Excellent supermarket and the best thing is that it has the largest fish market I could see in Kentucky with a great assortment of fish.

This is still the place to go for your full fish market experience. My recent visit November, this market has started to offer 3rd-Party quailty in there product and merchandise. Caution! There has been a recent price increase on all the very things we love to shop for. You Must Keep a close eye on your budget.

First time in, Smell was Very bad like fish a d bleach smell ..I had tried to purchase some items using credit card and sign said $20.00 and above only with Credit card and debit was $15.00 and over so I put down my items on shelf and walked out...Will not be getting my business.......

Bad smell. Poor ventilation. The Viet Hoa in Indianapolis is much better that carries fresher selection at more reasonable price/portion. Wont honor the posted price even if its their fault -such a typical old Chinese way but its against the law in the states. The owner shouldve have known, even if a few bucks!
