The Fudgery is a great place that has some very delicious fudge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can also watch them make the products on tables behind the counter. They also sell many flavors of ice cream here, (I would have loved to have some, but the weather was too cold during my visit for me. I was very impressed with their english toffee, this was absolutely the best tasting toffee I have ever had.

First off they use tissue paper not wax paper to wrap treats in. So enjoy eating paper, like it would matter bought a turtle. It was well really tasteless, the nuts were over salted. The chocolate was there but bland. The caramel was really disappointing I was expecting sweet soft butter. I got stiff almost hard semi sweet grainy caramel colored stuff.

The guy with dreads is extremely rude when im paying almost 50$ for some fudge. u asked if it was fresh and he just started at me. the fudge was not as fresh as it normally is. had a hard outside. has been a while since I went. after seen this post I figured Id add to that. do these people still have jobs? in a central location like this thisbos unacceptable.

The employees took a VERY long time to even acknowledge we were in the store, they pretty much ignored my group of six people while we just stood there waiting to be served. I could hardly hear or understand the female employee behind the counter when she told me the total and I paid, I have never seen two employees who couldn’t handle the simple operation of working in a ice cream shop. I also watch about a dozen customers walk in and then leave because the service was so poor. The owner is losing money because of the horrendous customer service.

I have been there about 3 times within the month each time I have gone there, there is a dark skinned man with dreads in there. He is extremely unfriendly. 1st time he seemed very mad I even walked in the store and did not even speak to me or my friend that was with me. He was very rude. The second time he stood back and just let the other 2 girls work while there was a line. He did not greet one guest as they walked in. The 3rd time which was today he was standing in front of the doors with his hands on his hips and just starred at me as walked in, he did not say one word to me. I walked over to the ice cream area where a very nice girl was working and doing dishes and greeted me once she saw me. The guy did not ask if I needed help with anything at all. When I left he was standing to the left of the doors smoking. He is very unprofessional and very rude. Your ice cream and everyone else is great expect him. Which is why I at least gave two stars but knocked off three for each occurrence I have had with him and each time he was very rude.

The lady behind the counter was very nice. I asked for a vanilla fudge milkshake. In the middle of making it, I asked if she could put some Oreos in it. She said it wasnt a problem. It was costly but the taste justified the cost. I usually take pictures.... It was so good by the time I got my phone out all I had left was whip cream. Thank you for giving this lactose intolerant milkshake connoisseur a really good reason to have the bubble guts later!

I asked the girl behind the counter for a scoop with hot fudge. She said they didnt have fudge. So I ordered a coffee drink and she said they were out of coffee. So I asked for a chocolate shake and she said they were out of chocolate ice cream. I showed her the chocolate ice-cream and she still said they were out. So I gave up on ordering. Then my friend ordered the same chocolate ice-cream and she told him they were out. He insisted and another girl came and served him a double. Then, after waiting a few minutes, we had to ask someone to ring us up. A rude man with dreads slowly walked up to the register, ran both hands through his hair, and with a scowl, rang up my friends. The store was dirty, the floor was sticky, and all staff were unfriendly.

Management refused to make the order I have been calling in to make for the past four years. New management said it was not on the menu so it could not be made. But I was told back when it was REMOVED from the menu that I just simply needed to call in and place an order for them after which they can be made. Im extremely unhappy with the service the new manager provided and his reason was he has never made it since he has been at the store as of January.

Took forever to be acknowledged by an employee, and when I finally was, he just went in the back again. Eventually a few minutes later he came out front again and asked if I wanted something. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to buy anything because their register system was updating in the middle of the day. They could not make any accommodations or figure something out for me.

Spent 15 min waiting on a milkshake and the employees just kept singing on the top of their lungs. Their spit was practically all over everything they were doing, as well as not wearing any hair nets. If i could I would cancel the order so I could get out of their sooner with their singing. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Never coming back again.

Absolutely the best ice cream around! One of the workers has an amazing voice and sings Michael Jackson songs while stirring the fudge. Great atmosphere and amazing staff! No FUDGIN’ way!

Nasty, dirty, sticky floors. Three employees present, only one serving. The guy preparing the fudge was poorly groomed and wearing a uniform full of bug wholes......room temperature was 83 degrees, the line was out the door. Kids were playing with the bell placed above the overflowing trash can when the female employee got upset walked up to the kids a ripped the bell of the wall. Milkshake was watery, talked to the manager and he said there is no recipe for it. Won’t be surprise if this business goes broke......

It took 20 minutes to serve 4 customers ice-cream. There were 6 employees there, but 3 of them were just standing around laughing and joking the whole time. I never saw them do any work the entire time. They were just and goofing around and watching one guy make the fudge.

Stopped in to see how late they were open so we could come back later for ice cream with kids after our dance competition. Was told 9pm. Came back at 8:25 with the kids for ice cream and the doors were closed and they were cleaning up inside. CLOSED. What the heck??? What happened to 9pm???

I ate much more fudge than I should have...it was delicious! The staff might need a little more supervision.

If I could give it a zero I would. You are an ice cream shop... it’s summer... and you have no ice cream? Very disappointed, no apology, Girl behind counter stated they don’t get a shipment until Thursday. ITS TUESDAY

I need a little better hygiene by the servers. I saw an employees put his arm inside the ice cream tub with his arm hair touching the ice cream. He never used a glove while handling anything in the store.

The store was almost out of icecream flavors so we asked to get frozen lemonade, and in almost five minutes later the young employee with weird hair said sorry we are out of lemonade. At that point we asked for fudges and she rolled her eyes at us like it was too much effort. So, we said thank you and walked out. Will never go back again to that place

Pretty dirty place. Ice cream was not good at all. Lack many flavors. Staff looked like they hate working there.. Definitely not recommended.

All of the reviews regarding their poor customer service is true. I was waited on by Andre and he was so unfriendly. You signed up to work in store downtown steps away from the convention center, pal. Put on your customer service face for 8 hours or find something else.

The service is a joke. The girl literally rolled her eyes when she had to serve us. Overpriced! Skip this one!

Long wait just for a watery milk shake.

Went twice... were told they closed at 10:00pm and employees confirmed. - both times we arrived between 9:30 and 9:45 and the staff were cleaning up... both times we were told they had already closed down the ice cream section so they did not have anything related to ice cream available (including milkshakes).
