You can get a quality cigar at most places. But an establishment as to be true to the cigar culture. J Shepherd’s has done that and you’ll love the positive vibe and great personas there. It’s my new must go to spot in Louisville.

Very nice store and has a lot of name brand cigars. Unfortunately he didnt have any Ligas and thats what I was mainly looking for but he was very helpful telling what shops would have them. I also wanted to purchase a Camacho American Barrel Aged cigar but every single one in the box had mold on it! That was the only cigar I saw with mold but it was a little disappointing. Great prices and the man working was very friendly.

I read the gas and electric meters on this place every month ... i decided to stop in after work one day, im by no means a cigar professional but i know what tastes i like and what i dont like. They were cery helpful, happy to discuss options and such and dont make you feel “stupid” for not knowing everything about a good stoogie ... im pretty excited about Jasons batch of 4 roses soaked cigars for derby! Headed there tomorrow to restock my stash and talk cigars ... great place to pick up a good cigar ( grab a my fathers and grab one of Jasons hand rolls ) you will enjoy both
