Great little place for both snacks and breakfast. They have coffee and sandwiches and a variety of baked sweets. We had cookies and orange pecan cinnamon roll. Cinnamon role was quite good, very unique. The cookies a bit crunchy, but absolutely melt in your mouth! Highly recommend checking out if you walking around downtown Louisville

There is a lot to love about Moxie. However if you order a sandwich with there fabulous Gluten Free bread and its toasted then its probably burned around all the edges. I am talking Charcoal Black. At first I thought this was a one-off. But I have had this happen 3 times now. I always buy the Gluten Free Loaf and its wonderful at home and I never toast it. Beware the burnt Crust if you order online.

Outside dining only right now. Food was delicious, only sandwiches and salads. The bread baked there is outstanding. I brought home a loaf of a seeded bread I think was called millabrod. The only problem is with all outside dining the only bathroom we could find was a 1/2 mile away in a public park.

While the sandwiches are good I dont think theyre worth an hour wait good. Ordered 2 sandwiches at 12:06, confirmation said they will be ready at 12:40. They didnt start them until after 1pm. Finally got my order around 1:15pm. Yes they were busy but when people that ordered after me are getting their food well before the online order, something is broken. Missed a lunch date with my wife as she had to attend a meeting. Hopefully they didnt hear her stomach grumbling.

The Pecan Cinnamon Rolls at Moxie Bread Company are out of this world. Beginning with a flaky crisp edge and ending with a soft cinnamon center topped with next level icing.I think I know the secret ingredient but dont want to reveal....buy one or six for yourself and let your taste buds soar off to a blissful state of pastry delight. We frequently drive up from Denver to Louisville for this one-of-a-kind treat. And Louisville for those who have never had the pleasure of visiting is a charming town with a few other great food purveyors to explore.Thank you Moxie for sharing your passion and the passions of your partner farmers! I ordered a couple of lattes and croissants over the phone, no one told me when they would be ready…when I got to Moxie, I was told I had to wait(my order was being made), when I got my order, I couldn’t tell which latte was whole milk or which one was oat milk—they were not labeled. I was charged an extra dollar for the vanilla (I was not informed about the up-charge upfront). To top it all off, the $5+ dollar each croissants were cold AF.Why were they not toasted—they tasted gross cold— I could’ve just bought a WHOLE BOX of cold croissant for $5 at king Soopers and been better off.

The lunch and drinks were tasty enough and holy hell is the bread spectacular. The olive oil was pricey but after bringing it home with a loaf of the Buckwheat Friday special, it was nearly every meal for the next 48 hours. Breakfast was out of this world!! Everything was delicious and we bought a loaf of bread to take home. They had a bluegrass band playing on a Sunday morning and we loved it. This is a beautiful place with a great atmosphere and delicious food. One thing to note is their COVID protocols mean you order your food at a window and they bring it out to a station for you to pick it up. A few folks around us were confused by this, so just pay attention to the signs and you should have no issues!

Today proves nothing has changed in poor customer service in the last 10 months.I put an online order in last year at the end summer last year. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was told that it had never been received. When I showed the confirmation on my phone, I was told there was nothing they could do since they items I reserved had just been sold out. I showed them that I had been charged for the item and was told I would receive a credit. I never received the credit. I decided to try again and that 10 months was both long enough for my grudge and for them to improve their online ordering system. I was wrong on both counts. Once again, my order had not been received, luckily this time it was early enough in the day for them to have the items on hand, therefore, I was able to receive my order. Adding insult to injury when I was walking away with my order the employee said and I quote, please make sure the charge went through. I informed him it had; unfortunately I forgot to mention that speaking of credits and charges, Im still waiting on their reimbursement from 10 months ago. While their food is exceptional, their service and ordering systems are so below par, this is definitely the last time theyll be able to mess up my order.

My coworkers and I love this place and come here often to get sandwiches. Today I went to get the usual a le club and I was very displeased to find that the sandwich had changed in size. They used different bread that was half the size and was no where near as good as the regular bread that they use. There was also much more lettuce/spinach enough for a salad at the end if I really wanted. Much less of the other good toppings as well. I called to ask why this might have happened as it looked like they were doing a menu revamp. No answer... Their voicemail inbox was full too. If I was told that the menu had changed before hand and that I should expect a slightly different sandwich this wouldnt be a problem at all.

I absolutely adore this place. I have dreams about the king egg, it’s that good. I go here at least once a week and mix it up between the cinnamon roll, seasonal kouign amanns and muffins, or cookies. The pastries are usually baked beautifully, but recently they’ve been way off. I’m not sure if the oven is broken or they hired someone new to operate the oven, but everything is charred on the outside and raw on the inside (or bottom in the case of the king egg). The cinnamon rolls and the cookies have been rock hard. I’ll still be coming here because I love the taste of the food and the vibes here are amazing, especially on sundays when they have bluegrass picks out front, but I hope they figure out their baking times soon :)

So lucky that Moxie Bread Company isn’t too far away from me! There are a number of different freshly breads to choose from depending on your taste! One of my favorites is Millabrød although their sweet treats are delicious as well, particularly the chocolate croissants! Lunch is also a treat! So far I’ve tried the Avocado Toast loaded with avocados, cucumbers and radishes. Drinks are made with care and artfully finished! The staff are super friendly and it’s clear they know a lot of the patrons. I can’t wait for the summer as they have seating outside as well, however inside is super cozy and has local artwork for sale on the walls. This will surely quickly become one of my favorite places to hang out.

The manager couldn’t leave bacon off my turkey sandwich and I’m a vegetarian. This place is not Vegan friendly. I understand not subbing something but leaving bacon off for someone who has intolerance to Red meat while she was staring right at me is offensive, unprofessional, and rude. She didn’t even offer other suggestions. This was not the cashier but a short woman with dark hair in the background. Don’t come here if you are vegetarian or in general. Have been coming here for years. Best bread I have ever tasted! But someting interesting hapenned today. Went to buy some MillaBrod which I could see they had at least ten on on the racks inside the bakery. But the cashier told me that he could not sell me those because they were made to be sold tomorrow. I was taken aback for two reasons: 1. Why would you not want to sell a fresh made bread to a customer who wants to buy it now? 2. I was under the impression that your bread was made fresh daily. If the cashier is in fact correct, then your bread is made the previous day? Please clarify. And it just does not feel right to not sell fresh made bread to a customer who is willing to purchase it.

One of the top two bakeries in Colorado including Babettes Pizza & Pane. A boulangerie/viennoiserie shop (read bread bakery and laminated breads for example croissants). Their bread selection is pretty deep and everything is excellent. Good muffins too. Most of laminates they do are croissant based and all are solid. Do not miss the Kouign amann as its at the pinnacle of their lineup. In general all products are top notch prepared with traditional methods using top quality sourcing.

This used to be a great place - one of the best bakeries - however the last several times I visited on the weekends, the ciabatta bread I bought from them was old and dried up and not worth even eating (and I did not let it sit, this was trying to consume it straight out of the bag) - and the challah was burned and dried out. Likewise, last time I asked for olive ciabatta but was given a regular one. I also asked if they had freshly squeezed lemonade since they do offer beverages, and they claimed they did - only to bring out prepackaged overpriced Big Bs bottle of pasteurized lemonade that definitely does not meet that definition. The real disappointing thing here is that they were completely stellar before these last few incidents of inedible goods and that is really a shame.

I’ve wanted the same thing for a month and they’re always out. Why are they always out of bread if bread is in their name? Customer service people are so rude and condescending. Will never go here again. They sold some lady 20 croissants so her kids could have croissants for the week and I couldn’t order online and when I got there they were out cuz some weirdo bought the rest before 8:00, so that might explain why theyre always out. For the price youre paying it should be good. Waited outside for 10 minutes with the rest of the masked sheeple on blue tape marked lines 6 feet apart to order. The weather that morning was decent - a nice fall day. Cant imagine waiting in 15 degrees with wind. And what will happen with those nice blue lines when the snow/ice hits the sidewalk? That weather will be any day now in Colorado. The ham and cheese croissant was not heated up, just dumped in a bag, pear tart was good, drip coffee was good and $3 for a small. $15 for 2 room temperature pastries and a small coffee. Moxie is stretched thin right now. Their bread is as good as ever. You can order online, which is great, but be prepared to wait a long time to pick up. They’re doing a lot of business, and they haven’t figured out how to prioritize between the people who bike up for a coffee and a pastry, and the people who have already ordered and paid, and you’ll also have to navigate to the pick up window around the bikers eating their pastries and coffee on the patio. Delivery is also available, and is definitely a safer option.
