I was extremely impressed with their selection of purses and clothing that I found there! I will definitely be going back. Plus, the lady still took my purses I was selling, even though its was pay their intake time.

Good place to shop for women clothing and shoes. They have a wide variety of clothes. These are second hand clothing but the best quality. Some of the time you are fortunate to find a dress with a tag on it for $300 and you know you could not have purchased this dress for that amount. I get some of my clothing from there. Store hours aren’t updated on the internet but the store is only open from 12-6 every day. I wasted gas and a trip up here to come shopping. Then the staff just stood there as I tried to pull the door. The paper sign isn’t large enough to see from the road.

Great place with lots of barely worn inventory. I purchased a never been worn Talbots cardigan sweater (with an original price of $89.00) for $12. What a bargain!

First time going today, and I loved it. Organized, the staff is friendly and you cant beat the prices.

Been coming here for years to buy and sell clothes. The girls are very nice and helpful. They are quick at getting your buy gone through and done. Nothing like Platos Closet where you are turned away 6 out of 10 times you go to any location.

Brought a big bin of brand new, most were expensive brand items with a tag attached and they only accepted a few for 14$ LOL a pair of ALDO boots that were brand new never worn and I paid 200$ for and 2 dresses, its hilarious. Everything in their store is marked way up for used items, and I looked around and would not buy anything they sell there, even though I brought new items in to try to sell they didnt accept, due to low demand but the items they sell there were much less appealing. I will never waste my time again going to these places trying to sell, its a huge waste of time.They were at least somewhat friendly there, unlike trashy ghetto Platos closet stores.

Great buys and great customer service

I took a large amount of items in to sell today and true they didnt buy much, but I did receive a fair price for what they did take. I believe thats just the nature of selling used clothes, not everything is good for resale no matter how nice it is. I recommend calling first to make sure they will accept what you are bringing. For example, today they were not taking skirts or dresses of any kind because their inventory is already too full and they simply didnt have the space. The staff was VERY nice and helpful. I read the negative reviews about how other customers were treated at this location in the past and that simply is not the case any longer. The store is under newer management so maybe that fixed the problem. I couldnt be more pleased with the customer service, these ladies are tops! I think whats best about Clothes Mentor is the deals. The prices were extremely reasonable and the selection was fantastic! I will go there from now on before I ever shop brand new retail. Amanda

They offer you next to nothing for your things and then sell them at a huge mark up. It is way too expensive for items that are already worn down. You are better off selling your things online.

This is my favorite place to shop . they have top notch designer clothes.purses and shoes. I got a brand new pair of gap jeans skinny. Jeans for 8.00. I mean its great. Got 2 awesome dresses and 2 pair shoes all for 65.00 all but 1 dress was new and it looked new. Go in take a look. You will go back I. Promise. And the Staff is absolutely wonderful. I will never go back here. Maybe try another location. Younger staff members have snotty attitude as I see in another review. I have to agree. Management was nicer. Store is clean, organized & offer fair pricing for fairly nice selection & quailty. I bought a pair of boots that one foot was dry rot & cracking, falling apart, other foot was fine. They offer refunds in 7 days I took them back very next day & was told no refunds on footwear. I explained that those boots should have been better inspected & never even placed on the selling floor in the first place. I got my refund, rightfully, but not cheerfully. This staff needs to learn social etiquette & skills. Never again!

This is by far the best consignment shop. All the clothes are brand name and in fantastic condition. The store itself is very clean, big dressing rooms and so organized. You can find your size very easily and style/color. The prices are very reasonable.

All types of fashion, and is very clean and nice store. Great employees and very nice and friendly. Usually open to the public. In and out very quickly, and excellent parking, lots of area to park and shop in the area. Easy access to the store and can be seen from the main road.

I love the ladies that work at this location!! They have always been so friendly to me and my daughter! I also think they price everything fair and when I sell to them they have always given me a good price on my items!

I like both clothes mentors in Louisville. I always buy at least a few items there even though Im picky and have a hard time finding clothes that fit my petite frame. They have clothes for all sizes though, so I can shop here with everyone.

This is my favorite place to get professional looking clothes for work for cheap! These clothes are definitely for an older generation / more professional look than Platos closet.

Ive had a great time shopping here for business casual clothes for work. Ive made some great finds here and plan on coming back. I absolutely love to shop here.Ive had mild success with selling clothes here. Most times they will take a few items, but not most. Im not sure if I dont really get what theyre really looking for style wise or if they just dont need certain items (this kind of stuff is usually lost on me haha). But there are places to donate the stuff they cant take within a 5 minute drive so even if its stuff they cant take, its still easy to get rid of the rest.

Clothes Mentor is one of my favorite consignment shops. They have some very nice clothes and shoes. Plus you can sell your clothes and shoes back to them. Not the ones you buy out the store but the ones you got it home.You dont get a lot of money for them but the more stuff you got it do adds up.

They have good quality name brand items for a discount. But shopping is the only way to go, I cant sell them anything. The couple things they have wanted they dont pay decent prices.

I took my dry cleaned and some new business, dressed suits and basically was snubbed by the staff. It took them forever to acknowledge my presence. These were name brand suits and suit separates. They were on hangers and dry clean tags were visible. I was told no need for the suits. I accepted the no, but did not appreciate the attitude. I have purchased several items at this location, however, choose to shop were the staff is more welcoming.

Cloths was over priced and the sizes were mostly small. They have paints from NewYork and Co for $30. and they looked worn out. Too much jewerly and trading in your items are a lost cause. They advertise you can make good money but you make very little and then the mark it it up 110% As I walked out I looked around and the store really display a lot of cute stuff, but once again they are either petite or small.

My girl got her a couple of outfits, very nice clothes and I couldnt believe how cheap it was.

I brought in several name brand garments, which were less than a year old, dry cleaned and laundered. Some of the garments had price tags still attached because they had not been worn. After turning in my clothes at the front counter to the obviously token African American employee, I looked around for about 5 minutes. I was then called to the back, and was glared at by an associate who was wearing her racism like a ski mask and hanging out with apparently nothing to do while she is at work. Another associate, presumably the one that had called me back, clearly had not even opened the bin that I brought the clothes in, and proceeded to tell me that there was a musky odor coming from my dry cleaned, laundered, and new clothing. She then told me to go launder them and bring them back. Her nasty nice attitude and false statements about my clothing made me angry because I knew that my clothing was clean. However, I maintained my calm, and did not dignify this offal with a response. The objection that she and her racist establishment had to my clothing had nothing to do with the clothing. It was my ethnicity. It is a shame that people like this are allowed to deal with the public, and continue to force their ignorance upon others.

They only want to give you $0.30. For something they are going to sell back to you for $75.00. Took alot of good stuff to them they offered my wife a whole $7.00. We put the same stuff on facebook marketplace and made $1200.00. Ill not take anything here or Platos closet. Talk about them trying to rob you so they can get rich off of you. Plus they tried to down play our stuff. As if I havent done my home work. Dont shop here. You will find better deals and better type of people on facebook. And wont have to deal with these stuck up lying a$$ Bit

I have a tremendous appreciation for vintage and second hand products.It makes so much sense to repurpose.Ive never sold any of my products to clothes mentor but they have a very discerning eye for whats marketable.Their displays are well organized by size .A delightful shopping experience.

I was told it would take 20 minutes to review the clothing I brought in. It took 55 minutes. They denied several items that looked better than what was hanging on the racks. I know because I had plenty of time to look through all the racks.

Took my girlfriend to look around. Prices are good. Staff was what you would expect.

They were very kind and courteous; also prompt in going through the items. But bottom line, they picked through 6 bags and boxes of new and nearly new items, and only selected 3 things. They only paid me $7. What a disappointment.

They have everything from work clothes to workout clothes and everything else in between. Everything is organized by clothing type, size and color so it makes finding what you want pretty easy.

The selection is a lot better at this Clothes Mentor. However, I had an MK purse that was going to sell, but was told they couldnt authenticate it. Funny, because thats where I bought it.

They are over priced on there handbags way over priced you can go to Ebay Dillard are any other websites and get them cheaper and sometimes even new for cheaper. So look around before you buy from here.And the the ones that are cheaper on line are AUTHENTIC as well buyer beware

I love this place! It is my go to shopping spot when I need cloths.

Its OK. Most of the clothes I found in the store appeared to be heated towards older customers, much older in fact. Prices were OK though and fashion jewelry selection was quite large. Space is a decent size so you dont feel cramped. Think Ill stick to my local, cramped, Platos Closet though.

I waited for an hour when told they would text me within 20-25 minutes, only to go in and be told they were passing on everything, they dropped a nice dress i have from express on their floor, i was offered a $5 coupon for future purchases with them. Apparently things thag i literally JUST purchased from mall st. Matthews (where i manage a clothing store) were not the right season or too wornThey 100% didnt look out for tbeir customer, i take pride in my wardrobe. I wont be returning in the future, ill just sell on depop and letgo. Or at platos closet.

I went here today to sell very clean, name brand clothes. I spent over an hour waiting on the employee to look through my clothes, only to be offered $6 for two sweaters. As I looked through the clothes on the racks in the store while I waited, I noticed that most of the shoes were very dingy, with grass and dirt on some, and the some clothing items were extremely worn. I wouldnt recommend buying or selling at this location.

The employees a very courteous the welcome you, its a place like no other, they make you feel welcoming and you would want to come back again sometimes you dont like to shop in a place where theres a whole lot of other people it makes it simple to find exactly what youre looking for and need thank you Clothes Mentor.

The associates in this store are always rude and stand around just talking. While I have to wait forever at a register to cash out because no one is working the register. Clothes and prices are fantastic. The staff is sub par.

The most organized thrift store I have EVER seen. All sorted by size AND COLOR!!!!! They are more of a high dollar thrift store meaning they sell all top name brands....coach, vera bradley, Michael korrs, Gucci and more.
