Highly recommended. They were willing to work with me on shipping an item that was not originally intended to be shipped. They sent me photos and buying options, and then once I made the decision they sent me tracking updates, and even eventually checked in to make sure everything got to me in once piece. It was nice dealing with a real person who wanted to make sure I got what I was looking for.

While searching the internet for a very specific guitar, I found one for sale at Louisville Pawn Depot at a very fair price. I contacted them for more information and spoke with Eric who could not have been more helpful and professional. I ended up making the purchase and based on dealing with Eric I was really confident in my decision. This was late on a Monday and the guitar was delivered to my door on Thursday. They are swindlers and try to cheat u out by saying they will do a shorter period for 20 extra bucks and then there is zero grace period at all not even a few hours. Then they say oh it wasnt a pawn loan you got from our pawn shop you didnt pawn your items so be careful if you are looking for a loan they are just trying to cheat you out of your stuff calling it something else. Every other pwan shop ive dealt with will work with u at least some but theyve had my stuff for 11 days and now 500 dollars worth of 3 month old tools is gone for 150 bucks.

Was looking for a Grainfather (home brewing equipment) on ebay. Came across Louisville Pawn Depot. After emailing with the owner for a week I decided to do my business with them. Just to reply to the owner none of this is a lie. The person called u the very next morning trying to pay interest on the loan. He made the loan after 5pm on the date of the loan and you closed at 5 instead of 6 during a weekday on the 10th day of the loan and didnt give him any chance or call him back the 2nd time. I can prove all of this. Its sickening. This place is abhorrent. There was a 10 day loan that was initiated at almost 6pm (they were open). The person who took out the loan went back on day 10 at 5:15 pm which was technically still within the 10 day period but the pawn shop has random hours that change apparently. The fact that this person was there at this time can easily be proven by a time stamp gps and by the companies own security cameras. He called in the very next morning as soon as they opened. The pawn shop worker or owner said it didnt matter and he was not letting him pay on the loan despite him not being open during that 10 day deadline. 10 days. Thats 10 24 hour periods. He signed a contract and he didnt abide by it. Then he was completely inhumane by not caring at all that the person tried to do the right thing but was unable because of the businesses random hours and not being open by the end of the 24 hour period of the 10th day. This is illegal. They have no grace period either and many local pawn shops do of at least 1 to 3 days because stuff happens. You could get a flat tire. Be in the hospital. Life happens. And these people dont care. Call the pawn shop youre going to and ask about their policies and avoid this one like the plague because they wont even give you the most money for your item so theres really no reason to go to this pawn shop. When a small business loses their humanity and care for the community that keeps them in business in the first place and doesnt honor their own contracts we have a serious problem

Called and spoke to directly to the owner regarding a homebrewing system purchase I located on Ebay. Her was knowledgeable and even willing to work with me on shipping cost. I took a leap by paying without a real confirmation that he wouldnt cheat me and he came through. Grainfather arrived well packaged from the supplier, as advertised.Ill be calling them again when I have Grainfather-related purchases to make.

Showroom for customers is nice and clean but I didnt see anything marked with prices. Things that I were interested in I had to ask an employee and they would quote me prices without looking it up which made it feel like they were making them up. I stopped by since they post retro gaming items on craigslist but they hardly had any sega genesis items and they said its because they dont sell. There are other places in town with large selections of retro gaming items at much more reasonable and realistic prices and those other places will make you offers for items you want to sell unlike this place.

Sold multiple times here, always offers a very fair price and owner will be happy to breakdown the math of the offer for consumer interest. Stay local to come but from here as well shop has a very eccentric feel about it that bleeds what it is to be a Louisvillian.

Im not sure if people actually buy things from here but they shouldnt.. Ive never seen prices so high that make ebay look cheap. Contra for $40? I base stores that sell games on what they price Contra at. Its a pretty common game but the demand is pretty steady for it. As of this post its been sold on ebay for roughly $20-$30 pretty steadily, they have it at a firm $40. That being said it looks like these guys are victims of the ol I looked it up on ebay and other people are listing it for this but its actually only selling for but I didnt bother to look for that price thing.. >_> I recommend hitting up the other places in town that sell retro games or even ebay before here. Even the consoles have crazy prices here.. An nes shouldnt be over 50 in the current market with controllers and a zapper.. Unless its a top loader.
