Cute little shop with a surprising large variety of yarns. Great service from Celeste.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The selection is great too!
A lovely knitting shop with the most friendly people; staff and customers! Beautiful yarn and great examples to help with choices. Enjoyed every part of my visit. I will definitely return!
A lot of indie dyed yarn which is a perk for me and a lot of beautiful choices, the owner is a pleasure to talk yarn and projects with!
Very nice yarn in a small but organized space and they offer help if your project needs it. The one-on-one and group classes are a great option to learn new techniques. I love the social knitting time (open knit) and how friendly everyone is, its what makes this yarn shop my favorite
Wonderful wonderful yarn shop. GREAT owners who are always willing to help with whatever you are working on, and they are SO appreciative of any work you do. The yarn is to die for, much of it from locals. Their suggestions for projects is always helpful as well. The shawl pictured here is one of their suggestions, using yarn locally dyed. It worked up beautifully!
I love this shop! Ive only purchased a few things from here, but I cant wait to use them and go back! They arent always able to offer classes - but they do private lessons and I am looking forward to them. I was able to take a project in that I had been working on and get help getting back on track - invaluable, and they were so cheerful to do it as well!Everytime Im in the owners are consistently cheerful and helping other knitters and crocheters choose yarns, work through sticky sections of project or teaching folks how to crochet or knit!Love it!
Great community space for crafting and creating filled with friendly, knowledgeable staff and customers. Lots of help and advice for anything youre working on and a nice array of high quality but affordable fibers for any project youve got in mind.
Lots of good things here, the only draw back is not being open later, but they have families so I understand that choice. the owners are great, they CARE and support community, knowledgeable, they love what they are doing & they are always testing out new yarns to provide quality. Some local wool artisans are selling their gorgeous uniquely dyed and spun yarns there and they have a wide array of knowledge and skeins. The shop is a little small, but its big enough for a class or a group to visit easily, they are inviting with events happening at least once a month, & very informative and helpful. I loved the little Shop & the positive energy there, not to forget all the soft beatiful yarns too, they actually have the fancier stuff ranging from affordable to pricey, options & colors!
Ive been in a few times since i began knitting. I took a private lesson when I first started knitting and they were very helpful and got me on the right track. When finished the project a few months later I had forgotten how to cast off and they were very helpful and were glad to walk me through doing it. After I had cast off my last stitch they seemed just as exited as I was that I had completed my first project. Love going there and is such a friendly group of knitters. Would recommend to anyone wether they are just starting to knit or have been doing it their whole life!
Small space but the ladies that own/run are super nice and very knowledgeable. Theres a good selection of malabrigio, rowan and even a few local indie dyers. The store is situated in downtown Louisville and is close to many other attractions. First Friday Art Walk is a must.
So happy to have found this shop. What it lacks in size, it makes up in quality yarns. Absolutely LOVE that they carry indie yarns...best find during the 2106 Yarn Along the Rockies!!!
I love this little shop. Hands down worth the 30 min drive for me. The Lady working also pointed out to me a corner where there were toys for my 18 month old to play with while I shopped. That was alone amazing and extremely welcoming. My daughter isnt rowdy by any means, but its nice to be accepted as a knitting mother, cause we should be! I found some of my new favorite yarns there. Ive honestly never met a worsted cotton I liked until I looked at their selection. I love to spend my time weighing my decisions picking out yarn and much thought goes into the process. I was there over an hour. Staff was patient and very knowledgable. i believe her name was Genesee. Beautiful shop, accepting staff, and a selection that makes me want to buy it all.
So....cards on the table: I definitely walked in to the shop purely on the basis of snickering at the name. I know, im immature. But im so glad i did, this is a wonderful little yarn shop with a kind and knowledgeable staff. So glad i was being such a child that day, because i found a new hobby im falling love with and a supporting and kind place to get all my yarn goods.10/10 would giggle at the storefront again.
I love this place the people are so nice there
Love this little yarn studio. Always feels like home inside.
