This is a great shoppe. Beautiful, artistically done hats for both men and women. If youre looking for something for the Derby festivities or another special occasion dont miss this place.
Took in a vintage cap for resizing. Jenny was incredibly courteous and did a great job. Highly recommend.
This is one of the most unique shops in Louisville. If you are looking for an amazing handmade hat. You wouldnt find a better quality and unique hat anywhere. Jenny is simply an artist and makes Millinery look like art. The shop is fascinating and beautiful. Do yourself a favor and make a trip to Formé!
What a treasure! Each handmade hat is unique. I like to see the hats around town during Derby, these are the Best. I am in awe. Thank you for being here, Jenny.
Very friendly staff and absolutely beautiful handmade hats. Every piece is truly a work of art
I have a collection of Formé hats...or should I say works of art. Whether you choose a ready to wear or a custom design it is clear Jenny has put her design signature on your choice. You can start with your occasion, your dress or your idea Jenny will bring it to life....Go to her showroom and have fun. You still wear your hat with confidence!!!
Hands down the best place to buy a custom hat. When you walk into the Forme Millinery hat shop, it is like you walk right into the 1940s! She styles everyone from celebrities to people like me who are just interested in looking like one :). Jenny was named the Official Milliner of the Kentucky Derby Museum several years ago and has a plaque in the Museum at Churchill Downs. Its so neat if you havent seen it! My favorite hats are ones from her braid machine from the 1800s or her big brims. She has been in more magazines than you can count and you might be even lucky enough to buy a hat that was featured in a magazine spread. She is the real deal...make sure to get your custom orders for Derby in as soon as possible. She is one BUSY lady and you dont want to miss out on all the fun! This lady is really in high demand. She styles for Vineyard Vines, Universal Studios (just to name a few), and her hats are all over - Von Mar, Dillards, all the posh hotels in downtown Louisville. Jenny is a published author of millinery (check out her book, The Making of a Milliner), has made flat hat patterns for McCalls on several occasions, AND she also offers amazing hat making classes which would be such a fun girls night out event. Im from out of town so when I visit Louisville, I always pick up a new hat from Forme! Her hat shop is one of my favorite places to visit!
Very nice place with equally nice hats. Very nice staff
Found just what we needed. The hats were beautiful and the service was excellent.
