I built my own standard queen vertical bed in 2011. I enjoyed the project so much, that when someone else said they wanted one I built one for them. Since then I have built 15 beds, both horizontal and vertical configurations. On several occasions I have been on the phone reviewing my proposed modifications with Aaron & David (the techs) at Create-a-bed. They have been super helpful and are a joy to work with.

Direction were pretty good but project is not for the beginner, like a lady said she bought a saw and did it in a week-end.I dont think so .Drawings and directions refer to the plywood as 3/4 inch, a measurement which will make your side clearances tighter if you dont readjust to the actual size of the plywood you are using.I added a place for my guitar and amp above the bed.
