Love this place. Halal meat that’s fresh and always available. The workers are super nice. Not sure of the lady’s name but the cashier who rang me up even offered to put my groceries in my car as I had my hands full with an infant in my arms. It’s the little things. I will continue to come back every time I’m in town.

One of the cashiers doesn’t greet the customer. I don’t know if she greets other but she never greets me and never smiles. Has attitudes. It feels like why I went there to do shopping. She is not the right person to do the front service. I am not sure why the owner hasn’t fired her.

Outstanding buys on produce here! Fresh lemons are $1 for 5 ! They have fresh ginger, cilantro, sweet potatoes, and beautiful halal meats! Spices are incredibly reasonable. Wonderful selection of incense & other Indo/Pak items including beauty products! Nice, small store, easy access and parking. They welcomed my service dog - thank you!

Excellent prices. Great food, spices, and veggies. Limes and lemons are very inexpensive. The Okra and eggplants are excellent. Shop here first, then pick up what you need elsewhere.Prepared samosas by register are top tier.

Its a good Indian Grocery store but Covid has taken a toll it. The shelves past few weeks have been constantly empty or partially empty. Owners are good and friendly though.

You get Fresh Goat meat.... They do take b orders on Friday evening for goat meat..Owner is friendly person.

Best Indian food ive ever had.

We ordered egg biryani and chicken biryani and we got all the items but instead of egg biryani we got chicken biryani which really disturbed our house harmony though the items are really good but due to that odd item our house harmony was disturbed please do not repeat this mistake it is really disturbing.

The food here has been recommended to me by several friends who rave about it. I’ve got food from here twice and my experience has been absolutely nothing to rave about. The first time I got the Haleem & what I think was a chicken pickle.. the Haleem was alright, the chicken was hard as a rock and pretty much inedible. More recently I got the mutton biryani, which again was very highly recommended. It was Flavored rice with a sprinkle of mutton to say the least. 4 bite sized pieces(I counted!!!) it came with the traditional yogurt, but the onion was bitter which ruined it. there was a salan (sauce) on the side too.. which missed the mark on all levels.I really want to like the food here, but my experience both times has been anything but good.

It has most of the Indian groceries and a pr pretty wide variety of frozen food. The best in the town, even better compared to Louisville Indian grocery stores. The staff are very friendly too and do take suggestions for products seriously.

All Desi stuff under one roof at a place where no other Indian store exists. Good thing about APNA is that if ur feeling hungry, grab some samosay with chatni and kill the hunger. Moreover, its kitchen has some really good taste food too. When moms not cooking, get a fresh ready made food from here. Its not as big as Patel but its got almost everything in it. Halal meat is also available.

Fresh fruits and veggies you wont find at your local supermarket. I also love their selection of snacks and candies.

Ive been out of the country for 3 months and came in today and wow, they are really up their game! They now have a great menu for Indian food to go. Prices are reasonable and the vegetables and fruits look great! Very nice people. Very helpful if you dont know what to buy.

Apna Bazaar is much better compare to last year. New owner is doing very good job. We get good quality chicken and mutton. Birayani or parcel food is hot selling point here.Get good quality samosa as well.If you going for complete grocery then there is lot of scope and improvement.

Very convenient. If you live close to westport road or brownsboro road area its easy to shop from there. They also have carry out food menu and their food taste good. Also you can buy meat.

This store is under a new owner, and the price and quality are best in Louisville. There are many vegetables for $.99/lb. Its clean, organized and the owner is very nice.

Food in this to-go restaurant is too bad. Ordered Chicken 65 and it’s like they just took it from freezer and warm it and pack it. This is 4th time. Earlier ordered chicken kodi kaaram and that was full of just raw onions. It’s just a waste of money and time....

Good place for fresh Chicken and Meat

Most of the packaged items like juice, jam etc are expired. They are still on the selves for sale. Be very careful and avoid if possible.

You can get all Indian groceries here. In addition they have a kitchen where you can get take away orders of tasty Indian food.

The new owners get a 5 star rating from me now, the owner need to continue to watch that there are NO outdated items on shelves, or the rating will be revised. Good job till now! I have been ordering samosa chat a lot from their kitchen and they are the best in town. Today I tried their chicken biryani, which I would say is very delicious and totally the best I have ever tasted in a local restaurant. Ok I tried mutton biryani this evening 1/3/19 and it is as good as chicken. I will have to keep trying different dishes. I understand they will be opening Apna Cafe next door. Hope they have days and times they are open published, along with the menu.
