I am a 30 year plus employee with this company I have been through a lot of good times and bad times right now is a very bad Time we have had a new general manager Dave harvanack come in and take over he said the company was not profitable so he had to make changes although the hourly production workers have been averaging 105% efficiency for the last three years he continued to take away from us he change the bonus program to where it benefited The company more than it did the hourly employees there have been no hourly raise increase in the last six years but he would come out and brag that the salary people were getting their raises but we were not it is sickening to invest over half of your life into a company and a manager come in that has only been there five or six years treat you like you are lucky to have a job I have a small piece of advice a happy worker is a good worker and right now there are no happy workers
I have worked for DSI for over 24 years. During the pandemic we worked 11hrs days with no hazard pay. As soon as we slowed down management came to us with all kind of policy changes. The workers had enough. We have not received a raise for 7 years. While we are out on strike with no health insurance during a pandemic the company (DSI) is treating the temporary workers really nice. They are buying lunch everyday and they are bringing them in at a higher wage. The last time we voted the union out, the union busters said if we have to come back again Shame on DSI!!!! SHAME ON YOU DAVE and DSI TUNNELING of Louisville.
DSI in Louisville is located a block from my home. They have been in bad labor relations with local employees for months (I can hear it daily). The strikers report they have not received a raise in more than 5 years.Yet this company helped build the new Ohio River bridges and is probably involved with the MSD stormwater tunnel.DSI-pay your people a real living wage. Bet upper management has gotten a raise in 5 years!
Please do not use this company as the employees are on strike for unfair labor practices. Support your neighbors by not supporting this company while on strike.
I have been with this company for over 30 years upper management is horrible, we havent had a raise in years, change over bonus program and have changed or did away with many other benefits that took us decades to achieve/earn,not reccomend working for this company especially if you have a family
This company does not care about their employees
