As a woman who knows little about combustion engines, its hard to know who to trust. After moving to Loves Park, I began taking my cars to Butitta Brothers in Loves Park. (I cant vouch for the other locations in town; just this one.) Their service is top notch! Mike makes sure he takes the time to understand your concerns, and even works hard to make sure that any repairs fit your budget.One of our cars is a newer model, and Butitta Brothers ensures that its maintenance and repair keep it looking new. My other car is a beater, and I cant afford much to keep it running - and they take the time to do what repairs they can within my meager budget.The mechanics are also quite nice, and certainly know their work. Theyll happily give you a lift if you need to drop off or pick up your car. Theres even a Salvation Army next door, and restaurants handy, so if your repair only takes an hour or so, you can easily while away the time.In short, if youre a single woman who doesnt know who to trust with your vehicle repairs or maintenance, trust Butitta Brothers in Loves Park!

These guys go out of their way to make sure I leave there happy and with money still in my pocket. Weve been going there for over 20 years. My children now bring their repairs to Butitta for repairs because they treat you like people not a number. Ive seen three different managers in the Loves Park location so far and each has been just as accommodating as the last. Do yourself a favor and treat your car and your bank account to these guys the next time you need a repair.

More expensive than a franchise dealer for work done by backyard mechanics without GEDs, poor attitudes, they will try to tell you parts need replacement that clearly dont. Waste of time, garbage business.

I relocated to Rockford, IL from Montclair NJ and needed to have my vehicle looked at. I found Butitta Brothers on the AAA site. The gentlemen in the Loves Park garage - Dan, Mike and Brent were all competent, kind and honest. Treated me like family, told me what was wrong and didnt charge me for their time. As long as Im in Illinois, this will be where I take my car to get better!

I was quoted a price of $340.00 to fix my car. I brought my car in with a coupon that I received in the mail for 25.00 off. My car was fixed the next day but couldnt get there until a day later. When I got there the price was changed to $370.00. So much for a coupon. BEWAREMy cars automatic start up system no longer worked, when asked if they could look at it, I was told that they didnt go near that but that I had an oil leak and I needed a new radiator and rear breaks. Now I just had my car in Firestone in Joliet, Illinois for a bad tire valve and they did their check up and never said anything about the rear breaks being bad. So now after paying more than I was told and they wouldnt look at the start up system after paying over 300.00 in their business - this is not good business. I would NOT recommend anyone to go there. Rip off artist and they get away with it. I am a senior and handicapped and I have gotten better help from strangers on the street than what I paid for at Butitta

Ask for Ryan if you want excellent and honest service from a local business. Auto repair can be a stressful and doubtful experience... Ive always been treated fairly at Butitta and will go back again.

Well we started with a 03 Ford Sport Trac with the V6 4.0 motor that was not running right. I changed a few parts still not running right so I had heard these guys on the radio and tv and thought 10 locations they know what they are doing. Yeah..Truck took almost week and then I was told its running great! So I get the truck back for 645.00 and half way home it starts doing the same thing. I called Mike and told him he said bring it back they will get it right. Then I was told it was going to need even more parts and that there were parts coming from the auto parts store that were not wired correctly for my truck. What? Not wired right? Then how are they selling them to other people because I am sure people have bought this part from other auto parts places. Then I was told they needed to take the truck to Roscoe where they had some guys that were Ford Experts, Great experts ok. So I get the new bill and this time it is 845.00. I told Mike cant something be done considering I spent almost 700 on it already? He said he did. Needless to say I paid and and freed my truck! I got it back and New spark plug wires they changed because they said 2 of them were damaged from touching the block. They did no better I found the NEW spark plug wire was too close to the block and damaged again. I had to change it! So needless to say I am going to finish working on the truck because I dont have anymore money to give these guys and guys if you didnt know what you were doing take the damn truck to Ford! I have done mechanical work for 30 years and have seen some of these stuff these guys did only when me and other mechanics did it we never costed anyone money just fun. Wish I could have put zero stars!

Started off as a great place to get my car fixed, but over the years the turnover in management & staff sent Butitta straight down the toilet. After spending Hundreds upon hundreds of dollars, they couldnt keep my car going for more then 90 days without work needing to be redone or they discovered a new issue that was causing the same problem. I REFUSE to take my car there & my suggestion is you DONT either.

For a cheap oil change they wouldnt air up my tires that was a little bit of a bummer but oh well.

Horrible company. They said they replaced several parts but didnt. I had a running vehicle when I left it, now it wont run and they wont fix it. Horrible customer service, they only want your money.

Got work done at Butitta Bros. in Beloit on the 3-3-15. They pushed in my passenger fender, now my door wont open more than about a foot. They refused responsibility, for the damages, and lied outright to my face about it. On top of charging me $50 for parts, even though I brought the parts with me. This is a shady company, who behave like crooks. But just wait till they say its your own fault.
