My First time there was an incredible experience and I went with my neighbor to go out shopping and the food there was totally delicious and especially their hot,ready pizza,hot dogs. And after we ate our food. we finished our shopping and the people that works their are Fantastic and I cannot wait to come back Sooner or Later. But heres the catch tho you gotta be with someone that haves a membership. So its best to go with someone that does have one so that way you dont have worry about it. But other than that I really had a extreme Fun Time There and Cant Wait to Come Back Again.

I love Costco but when you buy clothes and find something you like it never comes back into stock. They had the best womans Black Bow underwear, so comfortable but havent been able to find them. So aggravating. The rest of the store is fine. Clean, great selection nice employees.

Just buying gas from here is worth getting the card. They also have really good deals in the store when you catch them. Also they have a lot of products you cant find anywhere else around here. My one thing is I wish I could find more gluten free items. Otherwise its a great store.

Typical Costco neat, clean and well stocked. It is a smaller layout but everything was available except small number of items. My first visit to this location and will likely return as it is conveniently on our way to our lake home.

I love Costco. They vet the merchandise they offer, which is above average quality always, and charge a fair price. I buy everything here now except grocery items they don’t offer and produce, since I toss a lot I buy in smaller quantities. Today I discovered Costco Optical. What a pleasant experience. The most thorough exam I’ve had in a long time. Costco as a whole is well worth the cost of membership.

I love Costco..but sometimes staff can be really bossy. I got to the register and the 1st thing the cashier said was.. start putting the stuff on the line talking to me as if I work here.. 2nd thing farmacy doesnt let you know when your prescription is ready or if theres a problem filling it until you get there. 😐

This is a newer Costco and like the other Costcos things are easy to find, prices and selections are great, the employees are courteous and friendly. Its easy to get in and out of the parking area during the week. The weekends are usually pretty busy so it takes more to maneuver both in and out of the store.

Great store. Great buys. Never walk out empty handed without buying something. I usually leave with a basket fully loaded withs lots of treasures. Lots of choices. Quality merchandise. Can spend hours shopping here. Have found some great buys here. Its always a treat to shop here because you dont know what youre going to find sometimes. They have their normal everyday usual items and then more.

Love Love Love Costco, not only because I can stock up on all of my great home needs that last me 6 months+ and save me tons of money but I can get so many top items at such better prices. And then at Costco you can always find awesome rare items that you never thought you might need but actually do! ❤️❤️ will continue to be a loyal Costco member. It’s SO WORTH IT!

We were traveling to a family party and got a flat tire, our first exit off the highway was Costco Loves Park. Everyone in the tire department on July 17, 2021 jumped to help my family. They provided the best communication, compassion, and customer service. They helped us problem solve and gave us all option available. They ultimately did not have the tires we needed and they assisted in putting on our spare and finding us another local place that could help. The kindness and concern the tire department showed, even when we were not going to be buying their tires was incredible. We are forever grateful for the humanity and good people and Costco employees who selfishly served us on this day. Because of their help, we were able to see my family, some for likely the last time. Thank you!

Pharmacy staff knew me and madd my experience great.

Was VERY disappointed in their customer service there. First time there I was interested in getting a membership I asked if they had a temporary one they said no at the service desk, but said I could look around. Then I was trying to ask the prices of membership and if I opened their credit card would I get free membership with it the two guys at the service desk just pointed to the board behind them, didnt care to talk to me So they will not be getting our business. Its shame because both my parents have membership in lake in the hills and said they have friendly good service. I guess thats what you get for putting these young kids at the front desk.

Good selection, better than Sams.Good cheese and the house brand booze wont make you choke.

Heres the deal. I didnt go in there. This place is about 4.5 hours from my home. What I do is plot my trips, then see if theres any Costcos along the route. Its obvious theres savings for gas and those savings add up pretty quickly. Unless of course, you need a gigantic package of toilet paper on your trip.

I am yet a member but had to share my experience. I didnt make it very far in the store as I was surprised to see how big television sets had gotten and how the price has gone down significantly. Moments later a worker approached me and asked if I had any questions because technology advances daily. I told him I wasnt a member so he didnt need to waste his time on me. His reply was shocking he said oh well time isnt wasted if you can learn something from our interaction So I asked him a simple question why this TV was $4,000 as another TV was $600. Now if you know very little about technology like myself this is the guy you go see I believe his name was John or Joe definitely started with the letter J. He told me he had the more expensive television that he bought last year and its completely different from any other television. He started talking in a different language that i couldnt understand so I told him this is all foreign to me. So then he explained it to me in a way so i was able to understand. Hes very bright, very educated, and VERY knowledgeable. It was a completely different interaction Ive never had before elsewhere as if he cared more about what would benefit me as to oppose the dollar amount of the television. And the time he took with me I felt valued as a customer even if I havent joined yet. He asked a bunch of other questions and picked out three different models with different price points and said based off of what I had told him these would be the best choices for me. He also explained technology is not as perfect as everyone thinks it is so wherever you buy a television if they offer you extended protection even though it costs a little bit more money its worth buying If its 10% of the cost of the television. Another person was waiting for him so I told him to help them as I look around if I have any more questions Id ask. And just before leaving he said did you learn anything (more then Ill ever remember) but yes i did, and he said so time was not wasted, wished me a great day and hope to see me back in the store again as a member. And thats what I plan to do one of these weekends. Please thank him for me!!!!

The best place to buy beef and find great deals. The Costco label imported Vodka is great. Gas prices are usually $0.30 a gallon cheaper than main stream gas stations.

Always spend too much but the food is great. Sales associates are always friendly. Weekends are really busy but that is expected. And they have a good variety of items.

What a great store. My mom is a member so she took me through the store. Amazing is all I can say. They have just about everything you need. Great prices too.

I purchased a membership and Mike was very helpful very informative answered my questions and signed me up quickly. Very nice very very nice! I love having Costco here close by! A wonderful company and I understand they treat their employees well and that means a lot to me! I will enjoy shopping there! My only hope is that they get more motorized card for those of us that are handicapped and cannot walk the store.

Tomorrow is opening day for this brand new Costco in Loves Park, IL. Tomorrow, the local Sams Club finally gets some competition. Im a fan of the higher-end goods that Costco sells, as well as getting access to the Kirkland store brand items that get so much praise for quality and value in Consumer Reports magazine. Somehow the doors were open tonight and hundreds of people including me were walking around the store. We couldnt buy anything yet, but the store is clean and pristine, and all the products and pricing are there for me to learn locations and make plans on what to buy and where it lives in the store for the future. The first of many trips in the future. Oh yes, and they were handing out samples galore of all kinds of food and snacks. Tonights visit was a happy accident, but Ill be back tomorrow on purpose.

Generally my experience is good, you can stock up on necessities and odds and ends for a great bargain. It does save a lot of money in the end. I’ve had a huge hit or miss with the employees however. The first time I went after we got our membership card, a year ago, the woman was rude to me because I didn’t show my card at the door (new customer and didn’t know I had to). Other times it’s the cashiers which are rather unfriendly. Today I had to go to the bathroom which is located in the front of the store and had no idea where to park my cart, assumed that I could just park it outside of the bathroom like every other store I’ve been to, but was rudely advised I have to leave it in a specific spot, no signs stated that protocol. These experiences have made me not look forward to coming here, and I send my husband instead if I can. I know Costco treats their employees better than most businesses, so I am shocked at the unfriendliness I’ve experienced on numerous occasions.

I love this Costco! Its not far from me and the selection is always great! What really makes this location is how friendly the employees are every time i visit. It doesnt matter how busy or slow they are i am always treated well. I also saw multiple people cleaning shelves and fridge doors so nice to see they are keeping up with it!!

What can I say about Costco? I have a family of 10, and the items they have are a great value when you need a lot of something. I was skeptical at first, since my experience with a similar type of setup of club wholesaler was negative (starts with S and ends with ams), but having shopped here over a year I have found it to generally be a good experience. The foods they carry seem to be of better quality than typical grocery stores. Their liquors are cheaper than elsewhere. Our giant van chugs gasoline, and their gas is usually 30c a gallon cheaper than most gas stations, which also means the savings on gas alone will pay for the membership. I like this. 👍 Today I bought a home theater receiver for 399. At best buy it was listed for 549. Win. Granted, it was literally the only model they had in stock. It happened to be the one I wanted. Oh, and heres something interesting: the employees here are actually friendly and seem to really like their jobs (or at least dont seem unhappy in them). Ive heard they are unionized and pay a living wage. That probably helps. In the end Im glad to support this store over others for the most part.

Were here visiting family and about to make the long haul back to NC but i was ecstatic to find out there was a Costco near by. The whole family came on our first visit to check out the store and i got time alone in the TV section on our second visit while everyone else looked around. Ive been eyeing the QLED and OLED but havent pulled the trigger yet. The associates were attentive but i was just looking so didnt require any assistance. I did talk to a guy on both visits that helped make my decision easier. I told him (Not really sure his name but it was JO something, his vest was covering the rest) i was going to leave a review and he asked i leave a review about my experience on the entire warehouse so every employee could have a sense of pride in my review. So first off its so clean and well organized, the employees are friendly and offer a level of service you cant find anywhere else besides Costco. Everyone was willing to go out of their way to help us locate different products. And I was pleasantly surprised at products I dont see at my Costco. Thank you so much everyone, this makes the membership worth it alone. Now Costco thank you for employing the guy in the TV section. He gave me information i didnt know, explained the PROS/CONS of both choices, added and explained variables of viewing, asked questions to determine which TV would benifit me, Explained the difference in technology, and It was never about selling me by price point. He is definitely on another level of customer service and tech information. Feel extremely confident OLED is the right option for me now. Thank You Costco!!!!

I travel a lot and i noticed Costco in different states are more diverse with their staff and products Illinois has a long way to go just my opinion

Love this place. Been a member since it first appeared on the map.The only but is that its hard to find an employee for help, theres never one around and registers are always packed, though they are pretty organized so the line moves somewhat fast.Aside from that, prices are really good and 95% of the time I find what I went for.

If you dont have a Costco membership, youre doing it wrong. You can count on a great selection of organic and clean food. Pricing isnt overly competitive, but theres always plenty of bargain buys. The Kirkland brand is becoming synonymous with quality and a personal preference of mine.

Wasnt crowded and this costco is laid out really nice.

I give this a 4 because of their produce and fruits. I wonder if they freeze the stuff first then out out to buy. Dates are close to expire and if you dont use it the first day it is already turning brown. Some of the fruits have mold on them when you go to wash them at your house.

I love Costco the already cooked ribs are really good. The bakery department is super, I have to stay away from there because I cant help myself from buying a lot of goodies

This place is so big, its easy to social distance. The Kirkland brand is always trustworthy. Great prices and selection.Wish they would enforce the mask guidelines-- so many people with mask below their nose! 😢

Stopped in on a Saturday morning right after they opened to pick up a few things. Was able to get in and out before the crowds, so I was happy about that.

Loves Park Costco is my favorite, all the people are so helpful and friendly. Is is also immaculate! Clean and organized and they are always open early! I like that because morning is hectic so I need to get in and out!

Get your Christmas items now while they have stock, wont be anything available come the middle of November. No supply chain!

Costco has many good products. Also some of Costco items ( not many) can be bought at other local stores with a better price and better quality. A real plus to having a local Costco list the cost of gas, which is also tier one gas

You can barely step into Costco without spending $100 or more, and it seems like everything is at least $15. If you buy something and like it, it probably wont be there the next time you go. They open late and close early. They used to give out a lot of samples, but with COVID theyve transitioned to showing samples and annoying you as you walk by. Most things dont strike me as particularly cheap, except the gas is usually about 30 cents per gallon cheaper than anywhere else in the area. Everything seems to be good quality, and I am happy with my purchases. I have a lot of criticisms, but I still inexplicably like the place. Its sort of a love-hate relationship. If I had a lot more money or a lot more kids, I would probably like it a lot more.

As other sections make me think twice if costco is worth it. This is there bakery. Where they make and wrap your goods. So imagine other pictures we be showing and depts

I love costco but with the pandemic I am very disappointed in how they keep their customers safe.....they dont! I have a 4 month old who cannot wear a mask and the store was so crowded I couldnt get away from all the people. The customers are very rude and have no respect for others as far as social distancing.

Big box discount. Read the signs carefully, they are often misleading and deceiving. That aside, great pricing on some special buys, competitive pricing on everything else. Very clean, handicap accessible parking, entrances, and bathrooms. Professional auto center, quality work. I have bought tires from these guys and will in the future. No surprises, consistent with competition in product mix and pricing.

Only went in for the pizza. Sad they dont have the polish dogs anymore.

Greeted... Aisles were clear, shelves stocked... Found everything I needed in a timely fashion. And check out was a breeze.

Waited 20 min for hot dogs to be cooked. Hire more kitchen workers to get the job done and not over burden the fine folks doing a great job, but being pushed to their limits constantly. The secret is out, the town has now mostly discovered this place exists.

Just went to buy gas at 5:30 on Labor Day and they had all the pumps locked up. Now I’m out of gas and I have to jump back on I 90. Pretty bummed

We waited to long to get a new card in line the clerk took to long she talked to much we told her we were in a hurry but she just kept talking how wonderful Costco was and trying to push to pay more for a membership we told her that we wanted to wait to see if we like it but she did not listen she kept talking and talking and talking that was our first experience with Costco but we did enjoy shopping.

Great place to stop if youre driving along I90/94 just outside of the Chicago metro. Cheap gas, and quick bites from the food court. Do some shopping while youre there .

Only the 2 nd time there food very good. I only hate have to show your membership so many times. And if you loose your receipt on your way out you better hold it they check that . on up side they got a a copy of my receipt i lost going out.and make sure you have away to pack your food no bags but did have boxes you can use. So far not impress .
