I just brought my hybrid bike into their new shop for a tune-up. This is my third time using the bike shop and am very pleased with their knowledge and service. I ride my bike to work year round and it really takes a beating in the city roads of Lowell but the mechanics at the shop have been able to return it to itd original condition each time and at very reasonable rate too. I recommend them for all your biking needs and service.

Having an extra source of transportation is great. Beats walking, plus you can get to your destination a whole lot more quicker. Also there staff members are so polite.

I arrived and was greeted at the door by Oliver. He explained what the place was, what the different things I could buy/rent were.Since no one was around he showed me around through the mechanics shop and the OAP.Very helpful, will be here again to grab a bike through the freewheelers program.

Excellent! Oliver, Anish, Eli, Jeremy, and Mike are all fantastic - they know how to have fun while performing repairs and teaching others new skills. I had bought a used bike from the late 80s-90s and with no experience in maintenance, I went in to utilize the open stand-time to save on labor costs. They taught me to (1) re-tire the bike, (2) true the wheels, (3) wrap the handlebars with some new tape, and (4) lubricate it. It took a while, but it was well worth it for the knowledge gained. I also liked that they didnt try to push any products onto the customer - I bought only what I was interested in. I would highly recommend the UML bike shop.

I bought a bike from Walmart. Walmart assembled it. I wanted it to be checked out by someone that knew what they were doing. I brought it to this shop. The people that work here are very professional. They know what they are doing. I had asked for a ride prep. They looked it over, it only needed one adjustment. (Wow, Walmart! )Cost $7. The only problem would be the location. Second floor of the recreation building. Otherwise, this is where I’m going to have my bike serviced. Thanks for great service!

Its a good spot to get your bike tuned up. Convenient location and probably the only place I trust in lowell.
