They are always polite and helpful, if they can make you a loan they will.. your best bet as the Consumer is to be throughly educated in what you are trying to Pawn or Sell..don’t take it as a knock to your property if they can’t pay you 80% of the new cost, they have to make money in the end. If you want close to list price sell it online..

Great place to do business with.....the ladies couldnt have been nicer.... I def recommend this place 150% more than the place across the street that used to be an old bank. Save yourself some time and just go to empire. However, the gentleman that work there could learn a few things from Dora and Allissa about being professional and kind to people. I met steve the other day......he could learn a lot about customer sevice....I was embarrassed for him.

Very friendly but whoever answers the phone is not knowledgeable. He asked what I had and I told him pocketbooks he asked what brands and I told him and he said come on down. When I got there after the 40-minute drive the girl said we only take coach and Michael Kors. They did buy some of my jewelry and I got a good amount of money for that.

Its downtown, like *ANY* downtown the parking will be a challenge... but if you can find a place to park, this place is amazing.the staff is friendly and never sketchy.i was in store to purchase a pair of speakers and i needed to know if theyd even power on and work. they allowed me to bring my own amp in and wires and hook it up and have an impromptu listening session.i needed some paperclips and they easily provided that no problem.even after i completed the purchase, i left all my equipment and gear there, went to drive my car into a loading zone (sidewall street parking right in front of the store), the staff happily help me load the speakers into my car.cannot recommend highly enough if you have something you need to purchase from this store, all shops should be run like this.thank you!

Great experience my Ps4 works great and Dora was awesome with all our questions and making us feel secure about making a purchase on pre-owned gaming system she plugged it in and started play so we could see and also let us know we had 2 weeks to return if we needed to . Having done business wiith pawn shops in 5 different states and on a regular basis, I would honestly say Empire Loan is the fairest.I understand business and the obvious need for profit. Most pawn shops take advantage of what is a bad situation, Empire didnt.I had the same tool (Dewalt impact) pawned in Worcester for $60, Empire $100....
