I come here at least 2 times a week, consistently great taste and service, the natural shakes are bomb, staff is great, and prices… probably best meal for under $10!

Food was served promptly and was delicious. Counter staff was super helpful with the menu, since it was our first visit. Try the Yarro (more than enough for two), and the chicken with yellow rice. Plenty of left overs for dinner.

Absolutely delicious! Give great portions for great prices great quality meat and the food is just amazing. A little too much cilantro in the beans for my liking but other than that I really love this place! The meat is just so good melts in mouth

Located in downtown Lowell in here you will find delicious food from empanadas two Cuban sandwiches and some good rice beans and your choice of meat but what really draws me here is delicious cup of coffee that brings me back to the islands they also offer many varieties of drinks its a must-try when in town.

Gave a decent size amount of food for 8 bucks that came with a couple meats, huge thing of rice and the food was really good. Place is really small and they might need to expand if business is good. Will come back here again if I dont want to venture into Lawrence for these types of food.

I was excited to try this place after reading all the great reviews. I walked in with a party of three and bought lunch. The rice served to us was old and clumpy. The pork was also old and overly greasy. The beans must of had half a pound of garlic in them. All I could taste was garlic. They gave us one set of utensils and I had to get up to ask for more. I felt like I was bothering them by having the audacity of asking. The only thing that was fresh were the fried plantains. $30+ down the drain. We left our food barely touched, besides the fried plantains, on the table and walked out.
If you want a delicious home cooked meal youll find it at this cafe. My husband and I absolutely love the beef and onions dish and the Cuban sandwich. The empanadas are also great. The beef one and the ham and cheese especially. We love coming here because we know we can get great food for a great price. The lunch specials are awesome.
We celebrated a niece birthday on a Sunday afternoon. We reserved the whole restaurant. It was awesome. They owner cooked great food, we had nice music and plenty of tables and chairs. I highly recommend.
Went here today for a quick lunch after my classes at MCC. Truly a delicious place with authentic atmosphere I think I might have just ordered the wrong thing. The Yaroa plate was Pulled Chicken and French Fries smothered with Ketchup and Mayo but too much of that in my opinion! Otherwise a great place to dine. Service was efficient and detail oriented. I will be back here but also going to try the sandwiches!

This place is truly Amazing. The food is great. Large portions of food for your money. Barbeque ribs smothered in sauce. Sweet plantains with yellow rice and pigeon peas. Lets not forget about the red bean sauce, YUM. They have a customer for life!

Finally a good Cuban Sandwich! They can be hard to come by but Time Out Cafe does a good job of theirs (called the Havana Panini). Good prices, laid back environment, nice staff. Will definitely be going back.

Limited choices (buffet), not much atmosphere, but Authentic Home-style Dominican (!) food: stewed pork, dirty rice, plantains, etc. etc. And large portions, the kind of place a single laborer might get their main meal of the day. Nevermind if youre the only gringo - enjoy! Inexpensive ...so you can leave a bigger tip.
As our server returned with waters, my friend asked if we each ordered a burger (which is served with fries) if we would be over ordering it we added a chili and she yes. So we decided to try their special burger of the week which is made on bread made by a bakery just down the street called the Purple Carrot Bakery and the Jamonit burger, one with sweet potato fries and one with the LBC fries.

Always great food here. The owners are so nice too. Cafeteria style Dominican food to choose from or you can order from their extensive menu. I like to take the walk to see whats in the food bins to decide. Had the pastelon and a chicken pastelito this last time and they were both really good.

Ordered a Caesar Salad and it was made with iceberg lettuce that was sitting out in a bowl and the chicken was heated up in the microwave and mad dry and there was a thick black hair wrapped around a piece of that dry ass chicken. But, the sandwiches are good just dont get a salad.

Ordered the steak and cheese because it was on a panini bun and looked bomb. It was AMAZING. You will NOT find anything that comes close to the distinct, mouth watering flavors found in this steak and cheese. The added aji and provalone cheese is what will make you fall in love. I ordered it it once 3 days ago and had to order one yesterday, and also one today. YOU have a life long, satisfied costumer!!!!!

I only went to this café once during Folkfest because, unfortunately, they only have daytime business hours. I really enjoy hitting up cafes after dinner and I think its a missed opportunity to close so early on weekends.
