DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! If you are an out of state buyer don’t waste your time. Still trying to get the title from the dealer to register the car in Arkansas. Scroggins Dickey Subaru was very responsive before we made the purchase, but since 9/24/21 nobody will call us back. They owe us 2500 for transfer credit of the vehicle “checks in the mail” have not seen it yet. I repeat DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!

Scoggin Dickey Subaru did not disappoint. My car was delivered ahead of schedule, price was beyond fair, the finance department got me an excellent rate and I cannot say enough about Cesar and Matt! We drove 8 hours for our deal and will again.

If youre active duty military and plan on registering the vehicle in your home of record state as allowed by the SCRA dont waste your time. Theyre not willing to help out at all and will simply sell the car to someone else to make a quick buck even though there is no additional work for them. Attempted to purchase a car from them and was told they wouldnt register it in my home of record (AK) Im currently stationed in OK which would cost me an additional $2,000-$3,000.

Very disappointed. After looking at many different SUVs and after a family member purchased a Subaru, we thought ok it’s time to look at a Subaru. Stood outside looking in the windows of cars for 10-15 before calling and asking if someone could come out to help. Salesman didn’t share any details other than their pre-owned cars are loaners. When we asked if they offered “specials” he told us Subaru never offers any rebates, so we clarified and asked about 0% as advertised. He used a condescending tone to inform me that my credit score would need to be 700 for that & ended the sentence. After that, I told him my score was well above that & I didn’t even want to test drive it after that. So we will keep our used car and cash & look in a different city at a different Subaru dealer.

Casey Dixon was highly recommended by a family member, so we had him help us find our daughter a pre-owned Subaru this Summer (2020). We began looking in May and my daughter was so picky, it was August before she decided on one. Casey was never pushy or inpatient - he was always ready to answer every question, prepare vehicles for test-drives, and get tough / weird questions answered for us! Slow service. I have not been here yet where I didnt have to wait 2+ hours for an oilchange. I am here to have my trim replaced on the side of the seat and after waiting for 2.5 hours they come out and say it should be soon they finally found the part... Im still here and hope it is done soon. love my subaru but this is a waste of many hours of my time each visit. I could understand if I just pulled up with no appointment but I always call to schedule. I just want my chevy back at this point and I know subarus are great but not the customer service...

Our Salesman: We highly recommend Dan Bryant. He helped us purchase our last car as well as the Subaru we got on Monday. Not once did we feel rushed or pressured to purchase before were ready. He is very knowledgeable and quick to respond with questions. The entire process from picking the right car to getting through the paperwork was easy.Our new Subaru: I cant rave enough about our Crosstrek. Man. Where do I begin? I came in just to inquire about the possibility of me buying a car. It depended on if a certain what if happened. About a month or so (maybe longer) and a few more visits along the way, that what if happened and before I knew it I was driving off with a 2019 Outback.Shawn McBrayer is truly the most down to earth, realistic, and kindest person Ive ever encountered in the car industry and its not even close. He was patient with me. He answered all of my questions. Shawn was (and still is!) incredibly nice to me throughout the entire process. It was surprisingly a lot of fun figuring things out and he made the process incredibly simple.Despite my ability to purchase a car hinging on a what if he treated me with the utmost respect even to today when Ive been on the road with my new car for about a week.And before I end this review, I interacted with Ronnie in service for a while today and hes been fantastic. Really informative, answered my questions, and despite how new I am to owning one of these, hes been rock solid with explanations and transparency with the service as a whole.I know its been a week and Im already in love with my car, but man Ill always be grateful for the experience here with Shawn.Looking forward to making many memories with my Outback!

Casey, Cesar, Dan and Matt made our buying experience with SD Subaru one that we will happily share with everyone. Casey took the time to go over multiple models (new and used) until we finally decided on one that we felt would be best for us. Upon deciding the model of the vehicle, we though we drive him a bit more nuts and go after a hard to find color. Set up an appointment for recall replacement for my WRX. Took them an HOUR to scan my VIN and tell me I need to come back in a week or two while they ship the part and that theyll call me. Never got a call. Also after that appointment they left my WRX just sitting in first gear with no parking brake. Maybe they took that hour trying to learn how to drive a manual transmission? Will not be coming back.

Financing Manager was not pushy at all, but very helpful. Very pleased with our experience there.

I want to share one of the best experiences I had buying my Outback. I was really worried about financing my first car and the sales person and his manager explained the whole process and got me a car that fit my budget really well. My only complaint was the courtesy shuttle. In my experience it can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour to get picked up or dropped off. If you’re in a hurry, take an Uber.However, the last time I went in they separated the GM and Subaru services (courtesy shuttle is for GM service center) which is great. Now I can get a free rental while my car is in the shop, that is great customer service!

My wife and I were driving to New Mexico for a ski trip and started having engine problems. Scoggin-Dickey was the closest Subaru dealership in the area- so we headed there. The service advisor, Louise, was fantastic! She got our car into diagnostics quickly, provided us a loaner car, and we continued on with our trip. Cory, the mechanic, got the part shipped in and fixed the car up quick. Louise even came in on a Sunday to swap cars out so we could head back to Austin. A car purchase is only as good as the service that backs it up and these guys go above and beyond for their customers!

I dropped my car off to have the spark plugs replaced and the coolant flushed. It should have been a simple procedure. When I received my car back the coolant was below the low line, one of the couplers on my intake was ripped and one of my hella tones was disconnected. This is going to take me more time to fix than if I did the spark plugs and coolant myself the first time! I would steer clear of their service department. I will say the one bright spot is Ronnie the service manager and none of this was his fault. The techs on the other hand are obviously lazy and do not have the proper training..

Terrible customer service. My 18OB suffered the dreaded dead radio syndrome a day before last thanksgiving. I called 4 times to make sure i am on the list for warranty service and keep reassuring me that I am. A month later I had no updates but i was able to fix it myself via a dowloaded update when the radio started to turn on randomly. Several months later I came for a the radion/fuel to empty recall and I mentioned my radio, serive guy said i should have an I said i did several times but have no knowledge of me or my calls.A month or so later my windshield broke and i attempted to set up a repair for a replacement. Again I called several times, left voicemail on the subaru servive desk and never received an update or a call back. After two weeks of waiting I called Brown Subaru, I was transferred to the body shop and left my information. The next day i received a call from Brown Subaru and my windshield is in order due to arrive July 5 and was installed July 10th. Thats what i call customer services.Thanks Ronnie for the zero customer service. You will be saving me precious time and money because I will never be inquiring about Scoggin-Dickeys services again.

The worst experience we have ever had with a machanic shop. They had our WRX for 4 month to replace the clutch, quoted the price at half what they actally charged us. 1400 dollars and 2 months later the clutch is out again because it was improperly installed. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!

Theyre very polite, and seem to listen well to requests in the service department. One star knocked off because the service guys have twice now had the bad habit of leaving things strewn about the cabin where they shouldnt go. For example, my keys were thrown in the instrument cluster instead of handed to me - nearly scratching the plastic of the cluster. The wheel lock key is always removed from the package and left in my cup holder (three separate times now).Nice guys. Very polite. But there are some bad habits...

The service department here is a complete joke. Neither the service writer or service manager EVER CALL YOU BACK. We show up for our appointment, the lady tells us were not in the system and they dont have a loan car as promised. She then says we spoke to someone else, which we know for a fact it was her because we had it written down. We had our vehicle in for service work for over a week. There was an axle seal leaking. It took them over a week to get the part in, and 2 days to put it in. A part that every auto parts store stocks, and a job that takes 2 hours to do. We asked to have the vehicle checked out. We were in the middle of moving, remodeling a house and working 60 hours a week, we wouldve approved anything needed. They said everything looked good. Here I am a month later, less than 600 miles, looking the car over and I find my cabin air filter clogged solid, the engine air filter clogged solid, and my rear brake pads at 2mm. Good to know theres a subaru place in Lubbock I can trust...... Based off the rest of the reviews, Im not the only one who feels this way about their service department.

Disappointed with the service Department. Had electrical problems after an overheating issue. Suburu put a bandaid on the problem. Loved the 2017 Outback until the module problem diagnosed but nobody wanted to spend the time or the money, but traded it off while the getting was good.

Make sure to check Kelley Blue Book before purchasing one of their vehicles. If you dont, you will end up paying at least 6,000 more then what the fair purchase price actually is! When explaining the fact that they had extremely overpriced their vehicle to the salesman, I was disrespected and offended. The two salesman that I spoke to had a complete disregard for the customer and stated that I was incorrect, even though I had the facts to back it up. Honestly, I dont care what website you use to value your cars, Kelley Blue Book, the website that millions of americans trust to create good deals, is more accurate then whatever website Scoggin-Dickey is using. In conclusion, I would never purchase a vehicle from this dealership, and I suggest that none of you do also. If I give no stars I would.

Called this place to ask aboutscheduling a test drive of a Subaru WRX STI (~$40,000), but they refused. Absolutely insane policy, especially for a car at this price point. How can you expect me to pay for a car I havent even driven?! I will NEVER consider doing business at this place. I called Sewell over in Dallas and they seemed more than accommodating to take care of me, but its just a long trip to Dallas.

Stood outside of the shop, literally in front of a salesmans window and he just sat there doing nothing.. looked like he was napping. Went inside finally, and the receptionist was the one who actually showed me a car... I was the only person there. Totally cool with that until her attitude just killed the mood of the test drive and they refused to negotiate. So I went to Colorado and paid 3k less for the same car. The speediness of the service department was the only reason they didnt get one star.TLDR: Terrible customer service, fast maintenance (but not great maintenance service).
