It is definitely not what shows on the commercial I waited 3-4 hours the technician was called inside by the receptionist twice. The second visit was about 20 minutes with a customer complaint. No management was present to handle customers. I was told that the replacement would take about 2 hrs the most. My family and I are not local, so after shopping and using Lyft the wait continued.

Needed to ask questions in whether they replace certain smaller glass in my car. No live people & automated hung up on me. Ordered elsewhere & replacing next Wednesday.

Called for a quote, never got a call back. Called Clear Vu they gave me a website, so I could find my replacement window for my old suburban. Then replaced it for a 100 dollars.

During installation I saw an e-mail that there was an updated invoice that was $200 more than I agreed to. I called customer support (the number listed on the invoice is not in service, the number on the website says to book online and hangs up). I did a chat with support and was given a different number and that person called the shop and was told the installer accidently broke a windshield during installation and scanned the second windshield for inventory purposes and the invoice would be updated before we arrived. It was not updated and the person at the desk seemed disappointed that my husband pointed it out and refused to pay for the second windshield. We will not return.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!! After receiving emails and texts confirming my appointment they did not show up. To make things worse, they didnt even bother to contact me that they would not be coming.

Very friendly staff, quick in and out, they got the job done even tho I was in a semi tractor trailer and their parking lot was small, they said come on in we will fix you right up and they did just that, was a tight fit but I manage to get this big semi in there for the repair of the windshield. Great job.

Absolutely the worst! After taking off work for my appointment to have the front window replaced, was called an hour later saying they didn’t have the window in stock and that they would have to order it. The manager called and said, “ I will be personally involved in this moving forward! It’s on my desk now, I will follow it.” That was 5 weeks ago! No phone call, no email, no follow up, no communication whatsoever. I called multiple times to ask, and was always told, “let me check on it and give you a call back...”. Nothing! Never a call back. WORST company to deal with. I finally called Magic Glass in Lubbock and got it done the very next day! Use them instead!

I wish I had an experience to review. Unfortunately I was unable to contact them. At all. I tried to call (multiple times and numbers) but kept getting bounced around their infuriating automated phone system, ultimately being cut off each time. I tried the Contact us for a quote email system with a very direct question but all I got was an automated reply to visit their web page and schedule a service. Sorry, I dont play that game. My question is simple...What do you charge to repair a 3/8 bullseye chip in a windshield if I bring the car to you? When I cant get that answered in a straightforward, convenient, and timely way, Im done. Ill go with someone who actually answers their phone.

I appreciate the way Safelite works quickly and efficiently to stop a glass chip from spreading. The Lubbock location doesn’t fix chips on Saturdays which is difficult for customers who work through the week and drive 45 min. To town. Otherwise, it would be five stars!

When I had a air leak issue, they did right and fixed it with no charge. Highly recommend this location for glass replacement or chip repairs.

Returned for second chip on front windshield. The technician said chip was so small that there was no charge. Who does that? I will recommend Safelight to everyone I know. They are the best.

I caught a rock on the windshield of my 2017 Grand Sport Corvette. The folks at Safelite Auto Glass were able to fix the bullseye so it would not spread in less than 45 minutes. Excellent service!!

ABSOLUTELY ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! You cant even talk to a human being about an issue! They did our windshield and it came loose and was leaking air and water THE SAME DAY!! When I tried FOR HOURS to contact them, and their corporate headquarters in Ohio, it always sent me back to a recording that wanted me to make a follow up appointment 5 DAYS LATER!!! I dont know about you, but I cant go 5 days without my car!!!!THEY SUCK! SPEND THE EXTRA $20 AND GET IT DONE RIGHT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Worst customer service my appointment was at 9am then got switch to a all day service my truck was pulled in then taken out and then I was told when they get a chance they would work on my truck

Although I thought the price was a little high my car was in and out to just as promised. Great service especially from the technician who did the job. The guy at the front desk was nice enough but didnt really look up or stand when speaking with me. I mean if his part of my money doesnt warrant a little TLC....

Customer Service with a smile. The receptionist was so nice and had a great personality!!! If I had a business I would try to get her to come to work for me. The manager was also very customer service oriented. He checked on all the customers waiting every 30 minutes or so. Very nice touch! The technician who replaced our windshield was also nice and professional. When I saw him cleaning all the windows on the truck I was impressed. Overall very positive experience and I would highly recommend.

Had my windshield appointment for 3:30. Dropped the truck off this morning about 10 so I could go do other things, they called me back at 1:30 saying my truck was done. Guys even cleaned my dash after the replaced the windshield. Would definitely recommend!

The Safelite employee I was working with, Guillermo, has gone for great measures to make sure things have been done promptly and correctly. Windshield is leaking when it rains and no on answers the phone when you call. Very poor work and extremely poor customer service.

Had great customer service with Safelite when I got my front windshield entirely replaced and got new windshield wipers. They ended up needing to come back to replace my windshield because a small crack resurfaced but they were so quick and apologetic about it! It doesn’t bother me at all that a mistake happened (#life) and I was very impressed with their customer service and willingness to get my concern taken care of. Both service providers as well as customer service on the phone were accommodating and polite and arrive within a timely manner, so I will return to their business should I run into problems with my car windows!

This company does an excellent job repairing rock chips as they always have. My only contention is the length of questioning in reference to vehicle vin, regerstration placement on the insurance docs as well as mileage only to be told I need to meet the tech. By the way for anyone reading this Texas drivers no longer have any windshield rock chip coverage period under any insurance company. It will be out of pocket so get the price ahead of time.

They quoted $200 to repair 3 small rock chips! They also wouldnt be able to get me in for 2 more days. $200 for rock chips! Glass Magic got me in right away and only charged $58.

I took my new car for a small windshield chip damage, upon repair the damage is more than the actual chip damage and I see cracks surrounding the chip damage! They told this is a failed repair and left me to replace it by my own cost!! I believe the technician should be knowledgable and honest to tell us that whether small chip damage really needs any repair or not! I feel stressful and feeling that I really made a wrong decision:(

Wont answer the phone. False advertisement

Went there with something minor but important that needed to be repaired. Super nice gentleman found a way to fix it without me having to remove my sleeping child from the vehicle to pull it into a bay as well as make me wait for an available bay. Took maybe 10 minutes total and no charge!

State Farm set me up with an appointment to have my windshield replaced the following day. They had all the paperwork ready when I dropped off the van. They had it done less than 2 hours later, including moving the inspection and registration stickers. Veronica was very friendly and efficient at the desk and even called to let me know it was ready. They did a first rate job. I am very happy with the quality of their work and will go back again the next time I need glass work.

I called for a quote for my vehicle $199.99 Im sure thats a good price but I cannot afford it and cant go through my insurance.

Had my windshield replaced for the third time due to big crack (not their fault) at the same place but this time installation did not go as well. Problems with its location an moldings. Talked with Tim, the general manager, who is extremely amiable and wants to provide good customer service. I brought it back, ALL problems resolved in a fast and friendly manner. Customer service seems to be a dying art, but not with Tim at Safelite on the south loop. If I need glass work, I will be back to see Tim and his people.

Super service priced right

The staff was friendly but the company is sorely lacking!!!! We had them yet for 3 months to order and install a replacement windshield in my daughters car. We first went to a temporary site in Odessa. They said they ordered the wrong one. They insinuated that we have them the wrong information even though we checked the car and the paper work for the questions they asked. Then they kept rescheduling the appointment. Then they wanted us to go to Lubbock then they cancelled. Then they said they would come to us and wave the fee but increased the original price saying that glass prices fluctuate. It increased exactly the amount of the fee that would have been paid for turn to come to us. Then they rescheduled again. Turn they said we had to go to Lubbock aga changing the price. We went to Lubbock which is an hour and half away close to two hours one way for us. We waited and then they told us they had the wrong windshield and insinuated that the dealership lied to is about the year of the car. Terry used that as an excuse for ordering the wrong windshield and increased the price again. My daughter asked if they could call the dealership again (they had told her that they did that in the beginning). The woman called and got the correct part number which was completely different from all the other ones they had ordered (I believe it was a total of three altogether). She told us it would take two or three days to get in and turn we could come back. Needless to say we arent going back and I would not ever use them or recommend them to anyone. I have two stars just because the staff was nice.

Have had 3 different vehicles on 3 different visits and had to take all 3 back to have them re-do the windows because of air and water leaks. 1 had a rear window replaced and it still is not like the factory like guarantee they gaurentee. We will not take our company vehicles there again.

I went there because I had a chip on my window for a little while. It started to get cold so I drove in to have them repair it before it cracked. They got to it immediately and found two others that I didnt see (after they cleaned the windshield). It didnt take long, and the people at the front desk were a great help with the insurance. Plus they were great people to talk to to pass the time.

Had an appointment for a simple rock chip repair. Showed up on time and ended up waiting 45 minutes for it to be fixed. This is the last time I will be returning here. I have been several other places that take 15 minutes at most.

I made an appointment today for 4 pm. I got there and they were closed at 2. If a shop doesnt even know when theyre open, do you really want them working on your vehicle? I dont. Unacceptable.

I had set up an appointment online through their website, which was awesome. But it never asked me about the number of rock chips. Safelite called me insurance for me immediately and confirmed coverage. They then called me to let me know everything was good to go, and that I did not need to call my insurance company.I arrived for my 8:00 a.m. appointment, only to be told that they had only filed a claim for one rock chip, but that I had five rock chips. They said I was supposed to tell them the number of rock chips, yet the multi-page online appointment form never asked for that very important detail. Furthermore, they said my insurance will only pay for three. Ok, thats not Safelites fault. Heres the main problem, Safelite will not pick and choose which rock chips to repair, no matter how large or small; according to them, they HAVE to repair every rock chip. So my options were to pay for a new windshield (the recommend replacing the windshield @ 4 rock chips for some reason); pay out of pocket for 2 of the 5 rock chips; or go home.My biggest complaint is that none of this was (1) explained to me up front when setting up the appointment; and (2) none of this obvisouly-important information was requested when setting up the appointment.Later that day I had an appointment with Glass Doctor of Lubbock. Great customer service. I highly recommend them. They will do the three worst chips even if you have five chips!

Mire like safe light auto glass

Last month had a rock-chipped windshield replaced in my 2013 VW Jetta. The folks at SafeLite in Lubbock were fast and friendly, their prices were reasonable, and Im happy so far with the product quality. The windshield for my Jetta was offered in an acoustic version for $40 more. After reading online reviews of acoustic windshields, I decided to spend the extra. Im not sure how much difference there is, if any, but that was my decision, not a recommendation from the SafeLite folks. They did exactly what I asked, quickly and inexpensively. I will certainly return to them for any future auto glass needs.

I am an out of state visitor in TX. Safelite does NOT want you to talk with the local shop and has a policy to prevent you from talking with them. I DO NOT want to communicate with an impersonal computer with a fixed set of canned answers. I DO NOT want to talk with personnel in some other state or country who has no idea what the local status is.Apparently, the Americans with Disabilities Act mean nothing to these people.
