Had a 12 Noon appointment. Arrived at 1145. Car was on rack at 11:55 and out the door at 12:20. Great service and very fast. Had 4 tires put on wife’s car in this short amount of time. Highly recommend! A+++ Very well done.

Dropped off a flat tire for repair today, was planning on mounting my self, but they offered to mount, wasnt expecting that, especially for a non Discount Tire tire (it was a factory tire). Will continue using Discount, customer service is stellar, speedy and affordable!

I was expecting to have to get a new tire-which I was dreading because my treads are good and I’d just replace the tire 2 years ago (not at this place but at the Honda dealership) and I was SO THANKFUL that they were able to remove the mail and fixed it without even charging me for it. Last time, I had to pay $160 for a new tire at the dealership. I’m a disabled veteran and on a fixed income, this was so wonderful that they fixed it without charging me. Everyone there is super nice and super helpful and I definitely recommend them. I’ll make sure and return for any tire needs and so will my family.

My family has a total of five cars. I have been changing tires here. Today my car is out of breath. I waited for twenty-five minutes here. No one staff came to receive me. They were not busy. It seems that I didn’t see me, I was very sad. I left, I won’t be back in the future.

They do a lot of good things for a lot of people for some reason I rubbed the manager wrong and he treated me like a third class citizen so I have no more use nor will I ever going to discount tire again

Good work ethic and hustle from pit crew. Only complaint is when you have an appointment, arrive 30 minutes early, and still dont get in till 30 min after the appointment time. A heads up warning or notification would be nice to let me know they are running behind schedule. After 30 minutes past my appt time I had to go ask when i was due up next and they then informed me that they were running behind and had two more in front of me. Simple heads up would have been nice.

Duane is Extremely unprofessional and this type of conduct for management for management is unacceptable and will be reported to your corporate office. Stopped in today to buy some new tires and the process was quick and painless! Daniel Calzada was friendly and very helpful! They ended up not having the tires I had purchased and so they upgraded my tires to much nicer ones for free! I will be coming back here next time I need new tires and for all of my tire rotations!

Today I had all 4 tires replaced on my car and due to a strange factory defect after I left I had a blow out on one of my tires. I called them and they were quick to come and assist me on the side of the road and I went back to the store and they got me quickly fixed up and on my way. They were really kind and professional! I will definitely keep using them and referring others to them as well!

Rear passenger tire kept losing 10 to 20 PSI overnight. Took car in and they est. about 1.5 hrs. Told them I needed to be outta there by 5:30 as I got pizzas to deliver for my 2nd job. This was at 3:45. I waited in my car and around 4:10 they guided me into one of their bays. I was pulling out of the bay around 4:50! Was in and out in about an hour! Good job. The reason I did not giver 5 stars though is bc they never communicated with me regarding my tire or what was wrong with it, nor did they show me, so 4/5. But still, good job and would recommend.

Anytime I have a tire issue these guys do a fantastic job of taking care of me. Theyre friendly and personable. These guys are always busy and always work hard all while with a smile on their face. Ive used other tire places and Lubbock before, and this Discount Tire far exceeds any other tire shop in Lubbock.

Very friendly. The only complaint I have is waiting 25 minutes for an appointment that I arrived 10 minutes early for before they even started servicing the vehicle. They made good on the road hazard warranty though and we got a new tire. We only paid for the new certificate.

Let me start by saying that Ive been a customer of this chain since I lived in Dayton, Ohio, then in Atlanta, Georgia and never had an issue. However this location in Lubbock has forced me to consider other options going forward for tires.I know on a Saturday, likely their busiest day, they are in a rush to get customers in and out the door. With this in mind, I even offered them to keep the vehicle until Monday if needed as I was in no rush. But being busy is no excuse for the most poor service at a tire store Ive ever received. First I was sold the extended warranty or road hazard with NO mention of this when I paid. I only needed one tire for the one my son trashed on his car, the others were in good shape, so no reason I would buy the warranty for one tire. Second, they completely ignored the tire pressure system, so when we picked up the car, the system was still actively stating an issue with a tire. Third they inflated the new tire 4 pounds over the other tires. Mind you Im compensating for the heat the tires build up, even though it was only driven less than a quarter mile. From the cold temp, they had put 7 more pounds than required. Now I feel the need to get my torque wrench out to be sure the lugs are torqued properly, as I very seriously doubt that was even considered since something simple like psi wasnt even checked for accuracy. And to top all this off, there was no call or text to advise it was ready. No big deal considering the other major issues that were ignored.It seems in their effort to expand and gain more of the tire market share, quality has been sidelined for quantity, and I will not be taking any of my 3 vehicles to this or any other Lubbock Discount Tire location going forward.

Ive ruined 2 tires, but they replaced both thru warranty. Total cost was about $60

Great friendly service, free pressure checks and flat repair, and decent prices make Discount Tire my go-to place. Long, boring waits make me wish I didnt have to. Not a complaint. Its the nature of auto repair and could be far worse. But it might be able to be better, too with some streamlining and thoughtful upgrades for waiting room customers. Ill be back for sure.

During my time their I felt very safe. They practiced social distancing and I never had to leave my truck. I was amazed at the system they had in place.

I purchased tires here with warranty back in 18. Come to find out, discount employers forced me to purchase a new tire even though warranty did not exceed time or mileage limits. If you are in a hurry and money is not an issue, then disregard. Otherwise, there are much cheaper alternatives then being mislead by the fine print within warranty contracts. In fact, apparently discount warranty tires only cover punctures and curbs. In my opinion, pay for other local car maintenance for a low price especially if discount’s warranty serves no purpose other than the easy repair. Also, warranty print is misleading and non-clearly stated by employees (such as leaving out details that can opt out the coverage you thought you paid extra for). Not very bright for discount considering competing with online orders, discount only advantage over online competitions is customer service because we all know they can not compete with price tags. Skip the middle the man!

Chad is awesome. He ran circles around every other salesman and tire tech, and made sure I was 100% satisfied throughout the whole process. I hope management acknowledges his hard work.

Dropped off tire at 9:30 am never got a call like promised. Came back at 3 pm and they had not even tried!! Told me after about 30 min that the tube was wrong and ask me if I wanted to order one and now maybe by 5 pm which could all been avoided if they had called me instead of letting it sit for 6 hours!!

Almost flat had a nail bought my tires there and guys tells me I have to have an appointment 😡 if I knew I was gunna get a nail today I would of made an appointment just disappointed I went down the street to RNR tire and they were very friendly and fixed my flat without an appointment

I bought a set of tires from another retailer not realizing they couldn’t put them on because of them being oversized. I called these guys and Leslie took care of me from there. Absolutely hands down great service even though I didn’t buy the tires from them. In addition they even allowed me to put their coverage on the tires. Wow! If your needing tire service talk to “my guy” Leslie he’ll get you fixed up.

They were amazing. I told them up front I was from out of town and they still treated me great. When they first said they wouldnt fix my flat because the previous plug repair(not by discount tire) was unsafe I thought he was just trying to sell me a new tire but then he gave the suggestion and offered for them to replace it with the spare for free so I could safely be on my way. If you are in the market for new tires this place is where you need to go. I recently fitted my vehicle with continental extreme contact sports and the fronts were just a little bit too wide. I called and explained this and Chad was absolutely amazing with helping me get the size needed, he got new ones ordered and had me riding a new set within a week. Hands down best service I’ve had.

Honestly, the people at Discount Tire are always nice and helpful. Im always just ticked off to be here, because it always means I have a destroyed tire at the worst possible time. They are sticklers on the rules. If you are hoping to slide by on a repair that is borderline if it should be fixed or not, they are not going to chance it. You will need to find some other place if your are pushing the rules. They are always accommodating to get me into an affordable option though. If a new set is too much for me, they will try to find a used set or mix brands to go cheaper. I have never been dissatisfied with the work here. Im usually just ticked off to begin with. Good cheap tires needed? Then come here.

Love the tires and the staff knows their stuff. They were able to get my tires done the same day as requested but had to wait 4 hours..thats a tough one. Got what I desperately needed at a fair price, but I hate to wait 1 hour, but 4...ouch. Good product and very competitive but next time Im trying the appointment route.

I just moved here from Arizona and managed to hit something in the road, and destroy my front tire and rim. Chad Johnson helped me get new rims at a price that I could actually afford. I took my truck to this Discount Tire location and to say there was great service would be an understatement. My Truck had a nail in it and they did all they could to safely patch the tire. Unfortunately, it couldn’t be done safely so I needed to get a replacement tire. Chad at this location helped me get into a tire set I wanted and at a great price too! He was never pushy and genuinely wanted to take care of me and my family. He even met me at the truck when I had to come back because my tires needed a rebalance. Will definitely recommend anyone and my friends to this location in the future!

Out of all the Discount Tires, this location has become my favorite. We need a free air check theyll do it quick and without you having to wait. We have bought several sets of tires through them and theyve always taken care of us. Every time theyve given us a timeestimate when theyre busy they have always gotten my car to me earlier than expected. Super friend the crew super clean store. The crew in the garage also plays tasteful music especially if you had to fix a flat with some little ones.
