Its very expensive but fabrics are usually good. To have your fabric measured and priced, you need to use the old fashioned pull tickets. Im not sure what the purpose is for these when older women walk up and get their items done despite not being next. They passed over our number without calling it and told us to get another ticket. We went to Walmart. What a shame.

Great choices of materials!! This place is tasty for anyone need a seamstress, or a patern for a new outfit. Though it has always been busy. Of course, that has nothing to do with the service as you would never know that it was busy the way they treat you! There is so much fabric to choose from and there are usually sales going on. The employees were nice and helpful. They also have a great selection of yarn. I went in at 7:30 PM and it was almost completely empty.

I’m going to start with what I do like about this store and it’s that I usually find what I need. I like the coupons and weekly deals and the door busters. The staff is friendly. But there needs to be another Jo Ann’s store in this town and preferably not crammed in a corner in South Lubbock. Most of the time I find what Im looking for but the problem came about when I asked one of the women that works in fabrics about a certain fabric and she was no help at all. Instead of telling me where I could possibly find it there she chose to open up a conversation about people “stealing fabric.”👀

Nice place . I came there 12-17-2020. Around 5:30 . at that time line was long at the cut table and checkouts . The manger called a worker to come help check, not the best manners. I had a lot of material she rang up my purchase i paid gave me my receipt said thank you . never asked if I would like a bag to put my things. In . im disabled . she. Had a bad attitude.

Horrible customer service. Employees are mostly Boomers with the typical Im-better-than-you attitude. In-stock selection is very small and restocking is rare. Youre better off just buying what you want from Amazon and avoiding the place altogether.

All employees look miserable. They are quick and rude to tell you how its done or what the procedure is... we dont work there and you could be a lot nicer, you are working in a customer service atmosphere!

Theyre pretty organized as far as fabric is concerned but dont seem to always have enough cashiers. But their craft supplies selection is ginormous!!!! And they have some really fun stuff!!! Selection is excellent!

If you say you have curbside service, then do it. My wife called when she arrived, a lady answered, redirected her call, and no one answered. She went in to get the order and only two people were working. So if you dont have the personnel to do curbside do not offer it. We will no longer do business there.

Helpful staff!

Its a great and well stocked location for being so small. The two complaints I have are 1) the staff talks trash about each other while on the floor and 2) they seem to have problems with overstaffing certain sections of the store but leaving the checkout counter understaffed.

Love Joanns, they have a extensive selection of all sorts of craft supplies. Joanns employees are also very helpful, they all seem very experienced them selves in fabrics and sewing, you can tell they hire people who actually participate and take part in the craft. The other reason I love going to Joanns is the sale prices and deals, they always have sales going on, get the app watch the sales and use the coupons you will get a great deal on all sorts of things.

Lots of good craft + sewing supplies @ JoAnns. I like the frequent sales + discounts throughout the store. The App makes it easy to access coupons. Being able to order online and pickup in the store is convenient. I shop for fabric to sew clothing + quilts, get thread for machine embroidery, jewelry supplies + silicone candy molds. I find what I need easily.

This is my favorite place to get yarn in Lubbock. They have the best selection of yarn of the three craft store chains (Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and Joann). They carry a wide range of the major yarn brands. Lion Brand and Bernat are my favorites, and they have a wide selection. They also have a fair selection of knitting needles and crochet hooks. The staff are generally helpful and friendly. Its also a great place to get fabric and sewing supplies.

Sent my daughter to the Lubbock location to do a “DIY” for a College band Function, trying to remind her to make things and not buy everything or dispose of everything and they were NO help. Told her they didn’t have what she needed, and if they did it would be on isle whatever. In which it wasn’t on that isle. Because they didn’t even really concern themselves on what she needed. However, I called after hearing of this and they “have it in every color”.......I wouldn’t even give them a star but I have to. Will NEVER go back. 👎🏼 So sad. Lubbock is still small enough that you would think you wouldn’t get this kind of service. Good grief. It was leather ribbon. It wasn’t anything that was complicated.

A good place to buy fabric. The company has gotten a little pricy because they want you t o use coupons so sign up ! You do receive quite a few. They have classes and a good instructor. Patterns are a good deal when they are on sale for $2.00 so watch the ads. On line are great deals also.

I have been going to the JoAnns store in Lubbock for years....this store has to be under new management! It was clean, well organized and friendly knowledgeable employees. In the past it was so bad I chose to drive to Amarillo location. Congratulations Lubbock store for gaining a customer back!

Im trying to create a band that holds on a coclear external hearing device for a child so had to get inventive. Think printed elastic, bra strap adjuster and then plastic closure. Staff were great at solving problematic areas. Definitely knew their inventory!

I get a lot of my upholstery fabric here and marine vinyl. I love the ladies here, they are always so helpful and knowledgeable.The take a number system works amazingly and you can often get your fabric cut really quick.

Making a summer wreath for the front door. I needed a wreath, yellow flowers,black buffalo check wired ribbon and greenery. check! They had it all. Every item was at a decent price already and then had a 30-70% discount.Of course, I found a few extras!How could I say no???

I can hear managers and staff talking about other employees in front of customers. Very Unprofessional...Also, Everytime I Asked for help no one knew where anything was.They were super slow at the cutting counter even though there was 4 or 5 employees chatting it up at the counter or the cash register.

I shopped there in October to buy materials for 4 blankets. The lady who did the cutting, didnt cut any of the materials correctly with me and a friend standing right there watching her and telling her she wasnt cutting them the correct length. Then when I was ready to sew them, I had to recut every piece to make them fit. It was a mess and I paid money for material I couldnt use because the lady dont listen. Im being very generous giving a 4 rating.

Holly smokes does this place have almost every fabric imaginable as well as every tool to turn that fabric into what ever you can dream up. Very kind staff who work tirelessly to help you with what you need as well as inspect the fabric your perchancing to be sure it has no defects. Definitely recommend this place to cosplayers and costume designers.

Great selection, didnt know I had to take a number to have fabric cut to size, which resulted in me waiting longer than others who took numbers even though I was in line first. Better communication with this would make the experience better!
