Not very well stocked and didnt have enough employees to work the floor. Sad, I know good help is hard to find. Love Party city usually. I will continue to shop there, but please hire some helpers.

The staff lacks Customer service! We went here bc I seen they had the costume my son wanted in Stock, however, staff made it feel like we were a bother and they did not want to help us.We were greeted by 1 employee at the door he was nice and the lady waiting by the door when we left was nice as well. All the cashiers just standing around with no customer so when we walked up we expected to be taken care of and all they did was keep talking in their little circle they were standing around in. They literally just continued to talk while I stood there at the register with the light on!! (They all had lights on) but if the lights on clearly you’re open but none of them wanted to move. This store is dirty and ran by a bunch of kids. Never again! At least the staff at Spirit Halloween want to assist you and look like they like their job.

Disappointed went in about noon September 14th store was pretty empty didnt have much stock costumes werent all that great. When asked for assistance I didnt get any as I walked each aisle looking for something I needed I had two other customers asked me if I could help them find something. Pretty sad when you have other customers asking other customers to find things because the employees are up front by the register visiting with each other. Had better look at Walmart

My niece purchased several packages of balloons from this location. She also purchased several mylar balloons. Im from out of town and went to party city on May 29th to have the balloons filled. I was shocked that I was charged a 100.00 dollars to have the balloons filled. Who does that? I paid the fee so my niece would have her balloons for her daughters graduation party. SHAME ON PARTY CITY!

Its got all the basic stuff you need for a simple party. Its nice that they have a costume section year-round and not just during Halloween.

Not one lollipop in sight. For a party supply store I would expect to see more stocked. Good thing I wasn’t planning a party cause those shelves are empty! I just needed to get my kid a lollipop.

Need more customer service oriented staff. I was looking around for items for my sons birthday party and saw a “welcome” sign with no price.I asked the cashier for the price, to which she said she doesn’t know and proceeded to ask someone else..that person also replied that they didn’t know and suggested that I should look it up online.The store was empty as the store had just opened...not one person offered to go get the sign to check the price.I then picked the sign up myself, carried it to get scan to find out the price of the item and then placed it back where i got it from.FYI....Good customer service goes a long way.

I was greeted upon entry, which was unexpected; however, that was the last I saw of any staff. The shelves are empty on a lot of aisles. Everything was fine until I went to the restroom.. horrible. They seem to be clear ing the bare minimum and it shows. Also, this is the first place since covid that their water fountains are still in service. Not sure if thats supposed to be a thing yet. Overall, store looked empty but the bathroom was disgusting.

I went to Party City today to purchase helium balloons . The cashier let me know there was no way they could bow up seven helium balloons for me without scheduling it in advance because they were booked for blowing up balloons months in advance.

Out off stock for everything I went there to get (white tablecloths); the staff said they hadnt gotten restocked in 3 weeks and werent expecting more next week.

Bought a birthday balloon for my son. They didnt have many for boys, but they had a lot for girls. But still, my son loves his Spiderman balloon.

Lots and lots for EVERY celebration.Were constantly mix and matching items from every department until we find what we need.If you have creativity, they have what you need.

They were out of many things at the store which is understandable considering covid-19 and distribution problems. When I was waiting in line, the lady in front of me needed something off the top shelf pulled down. The girl checking g her out called to get help. No person responded to her call. She asked the lady with the assistant manager tag if she could help her and she turned around and ignored her. She was helping g another customer, but she could have responded to her. She then asked her if there was anyone available on the floor to help the customer. The assistant manager ignored her again. The cashier had to leave her register, being the only one there checking people out to get products for the customer. The cashier was polite and patient. The assistant manager was rude to her and in front of a long line of people waiting to check out. The assistant manager needs better manners and to treat her employees better.

Excellent choice of decorations for a office or home party and staff was extremely friendly and helpful if youre looking to decorate for a party or holiday great place to go.

This store has adds for buy one item get one free and after waiting 45 minutes or more just to get customer service to get down the decor I wanted, I get to the counter and the manager said oops that’s not right it’s just the ones we sold out of, when I asked two employees and even the cashier said they were in fact buy one get one . Not only did I waste my time waiting but the manager wouldn’t even honor a sign that is in fact in the store . Calling corporate tomorrow as this is a classic definition of false advertising and I know a great attorney that will eat this up and best believe I’m calling him as well. I am sick of corporate companies thinking just because they can do what they want it’s okay. When you have 4 people that work there and the sign saying something guess what that’s what it is . I took photos but can’t add here .

My wife ordered balloons and was told what time to pick them up. Which was like 4 hrs later.. when we arrived 20 minutes late they was still not ready. About 40 minutes later someone was able to help. She only had one employee to help. With only 2 working on a busy Saturday they did a good job.

If it wasnt for the extremely kind and helpful staff I probably would rate one star. I purchased balloons for my sons 1st bday. Picked them up around 5pm. The balloons didnt make it to the next day. They were sinking before the night ended. I was extremely upset. And by the time his party started the next day (less than 24 hours later) they were completely on the ground. Talking about a waste of money. Definitely purchase your helium filled balloons elsewhere

Gentlemen that worked there was very helpful. He looked for costume location possibilities throughout store. The only thing I did not care for is it took awhile to find someone on the floor that worked there. On the other hand maybe I didnt notice them. Lady that he asked for help was in a costume, very nice and knowledgeable as well, positive experience.

Called about a costume. The girl was not helpful. She was brief and open/ended. If you are calling to save time by asking an associate about a specific costume, DONT. Youre better off just going in and looking around. Customer service: poor.

They have EVERYTHING at this location. I dont think Ive ever seen one so big. Very well stocked. It is clean and organized. However, I only recommend them on an emergency basis as their prices leave much to be desired.

Never enough cashiers, very rude as if you are an inconvenience to them to be there where they work. Went to get balloons for my daughter party and was told nope we ran out of helium no empathy or sympathy just a plain out oh well sorry bout you. Wish there was another party place in town with a wide selection.

This location is really big with lots of selection. My daughter and I went for birthday balloons for my other daughter and they have a whole bunch of different kinds to choose from (like, a lot). You can also have them aired up there.The rest of the store is filled with party stuff in just about every color you can think of. Definitely recommend.

Dont get me wrong, party city is great. Well costumes could cost less, but that is not why I am here today. I wanted to offer consumers a little balloon advice. I went to get some balloons aired up and they claimed that there was a 6 hour wait on that, but no one was back there airing up balloons! So I just took my balloons to WalMart. Guess what, they air them all up for 50 cents each! Way better deal same helium kids where just as happy!! The workers on the did not want to be bothered either but I understood it looked like a stressfull day for them

I had been in there when they 1st. Opened- there prices were a little to high for my taste- but it was an ok place. Thinking of checking it out this summer again.

Meh not so much Christmas holiday stuff

This store is packed full of a wide variety of party items. Most of it is cheap plastic. But, its only made to last one day, so that doesnt matter much. Their staff could use some teambuilding exercises. They were very rude to each other and did not communicate much at all.When we went to check out, a cashier asked us to come to her checkout lane. She then left and a young man showed up to take her place. He seemed upset and started saying derogatory comments about the female staff. He said the women there were worthless. This was a very rude thing to say in front of my wife and young daughter. He then started scanning our items. After a couple items he asked if that was it. We were still pulling items from the cart. He sighed loudly like he didnt want the business. The line behind us started to pile up. The lady cashier returned and asked the man if she should open up another register. He yelled at her and no that he could handle it. Well, he scanned some of our items twice. I had to point it out and he removed the extra charges.I think next time we will just order our party supplies online.

Overall staff is nice. We let our little one pick her Halloween costume and it took a pretty long time to get it picked up. Slightly disorganized but considering the time of year I can understand.

When I went to get a costume for a Halloween party the staff were very nice and helpful. However, due to my boyfriends illness we did not get to go to the party so I have unused and unopened costumes with the tags and the reciept. On the receipt it said that we could take it back as long as it was unopened and with in a 5 day period. Unfortunately when my boyfriend went in they said he could not return the costumes even if they were not worn and it doesnt matter what the receipt says. So Im not sure what to do with the costumes now. Im extremely disappointed.

The store was very clean and orderly. We needed something on the top shelf. Staff member politely and immediately got a ladder and smiled the entire time he helped us. This is very refreshing in a time when customer service is becoming a relic.

The customer service seriously sucks. I wait in line everytime for forever when its not even busy. When you go up to a register the employees with continue to hold their own conversation and ignore the customer. The only good thing about this place if the merchandise.

Well first couldnt find everything I needed,then had to find sumone to get it down, wait in line,for them to charge me wrong, then was told I had to wait in line again,so they could call a manger. When I ended up at the same register of that person,when all she had to do is call the manger instead of making me get in a long line again.

Good store, but the carts are way too small. I wish they would upgrade to bigger carts. That would really help moms with little ones.

I will never be returning to party city. My wife and I eagerly bought balloons on June 20th for our son’s first birthday party on July 13th. When we purchased, we were told by the cashier to bring the balloons back the day of our event with the receipt and an employee would inflate them for us then. We took a moment to question her as this is not how we normally get balloons inflated (leaving them there and scheduling pickup), but she reassured us that bringing them in day of was easy-peasy. Fast forward to 2 hours before our son’s first birthday party. We walk in, wait in line, tell the person inflating balloons what we were told, and we are flat out told that our balloons will not be inflated until 2 hours from now (when the party is supposed to start). After a few very nice pleas and showing her the receipt this person literally said “That was a miscommunication but we are working on other orders and people are ahead of you and I can’t inflate your balloons.” There was no apology. There was no bargaining. There was just apathy. We aren’t perfect people. We began to lose our tempers just a tad. People ahead of us? We bought these balloons 3+ weeks ago and it is only TWO balloons. We expressed that we wanted to speak to a manager to which she replied “I am the manager.” Gotta love that. And no there is not anyone higher than this person on site and they “would tell you the same thing.” Um no. An actual manager would take the time to blow up the balloons. She STOPPED working on balloon orders to process our refund. Which took LONGER than it would have to say, “Oh I’m so sorry you were told that, let me inflate those for you real quick and just remember to schedule pick up in the future.” Nope. So we got our almost $30 back (we were so flabbergasted we forgot to get the receipt) and called a grocery store that also does balloons. Big surprise, Market Street says it’s no problem and we get THREE balloons that are ready to go before my wife is back from getting the cake in the back of the store (and it was $9 cheaper for the same quality balloons). We thanked the sweet young lady at Market Street and told her we were treated like scum at Party City. She replied, “Oh I’m so sorry! Yeah we get that a lot..” So no, I will never go to Party City and get treated like that again. Ridiculous. Non-existent customer service. Apathetic management. Overpriced goods. We used to come here every time we had a party for balloons and the works. It’s not me, Party City, it’s you.

Went in to get grandsons supplies for his 2nd birthday party. We looked up the things we wanted online and it said the store had them in stock only to find out the store did not have them in stock. The store associates seemed to disinterested in helping to locate any items.

The store is fairly clean and organized most of the time, but the service is terrible. I dread coming in every time I need something from here because I know it will take WAY longer than it needs to. They are not efficient at all, and the lines are always backed up because they’re so blasé about helping people.

On 10/18/2018....Worst experience ever! We went to get a costume for our daughter and we waited in the store for a least an hour if not longer. We chose the costume and were told to follow the spider stickers on the floor. We were also told that after we make our way to the fitting rooms we need to ask if they have it available in the back. We did what we were asked and waited at least 30 minutes before finding out that they didnt have the costume. While we waited a line began to form and lots of customers were very upset. The manager explained that he has no idea what is in his inventory. When Party City was in the mall they always marked off the costumes they did not have available I am not sure why they did not do that. I suggest going to a different place to get costumes.

Trust me, this place is not worth your time. Literally everything they sell you can find cheaper at Wal-Mart or the dollar store. The general manager is a piece of work too, he would rather promote people he likes than hardworking employees that actually know what their doing. I had high hopes for the new location but upper management are a bunch of snakes. Theyll use you then toss you aside without a 2nd thought. Anyways, save yourself the headache and the money and shop somewhere else. I promise you can find what your looking for cheaper than these guys will charge you.-An old employee (thankfully)

I worked with this company for 4 years (April 2013-August 2017), 2.5 of which I was a manager.I had my son in early 2017. I had an emergency surgery 5 weeks post-partum. I went back to work and helped move locations. 2 weeks into the new location being open, my sons pediatrician had us check him into the hospital due to growing concern. Less than a week later we had to care flight him across the state for emergency treatment. I was gone roughly 1.5 weeks and every day my bosses were more concerned about me returning to work, no worry about my infant. As soon as I was released, I called about my schedule and to give my boss the heads up of my return. However, he and our higher ups decided it was best to terminate me without notice or cause. The GM, Danny, told me to take however long I needed, but he clearly didnt mean it. The DM, Jeff, and Danny kept pressuring me to either come back and leave my child in another city 10 hours from home (Lubbock), or quit via phone. They also stated that I had taken off too much time earlier in the year, i.e my 3 month, unpaid, legally given maternity leave. They were so annoyed about me having to leave that they had me fired without notice.I loved my job here. These managers could all use some retraining in how to treat their employees. The new management is not worth wasting your time on, nor do they truly care about the employees or customers.I only gave them 1 star due to having to have at least 1 to write a review.
