TLDR Bailey is cool, gives good piercings. I wouldnt suggest Bridgette unless you want to get overcharged for ok work.Got 2 helix piercings done by Bailey a month or so ago. She was so sweet and professional and so I was cool w Stay True. Front desk is nice too. I went back to get a tattoo, some lineart 2x3. Nothing complex or huge. $150??? Its not bad but some lines are shakey and really I should have said no past $120 but I was so anxious to get it done. Still gave her 20% ($30) tip. Honestly I took the gamble by going to a walk in.

Original appointment got way behind on time(something no one can control) and David took on my tattoo. Super chill, straight forward, and professional guy. First time tattoo for me and I I already plan to go back. Everyone was professional amd friendly, the place is super clean, amd its just a cool atmosphere.

I absolutely loved this place. The people were sweet, and Lego was very patient with me as I wanted to have my tattoo placed off center of what he was probably used to. My brother and I were able to get matching tattoos, and my only complaint was that we couldnt be with each other while getting them due to this silly Covid. Thank you so much everyone for a great experience. The studio was the cleanest Ive ever seen, even though I think they are remodeling, it was immaculate.

I got three piercings from Vega Von Wulf a helix on each ear and a septum all in one go. I was nervous about the septum because of the shape of my nose... but Vega helped me feel comfortable and eased me into it. They have tons of cute jewelry too! The studio is very professional and spacious for being a small hole in the wall location. I honestly loved it and cant wait to go back!

I deleted my pervious comment to give this place a second try. My daith placement is really bad, its thick and was pierced straight. Probably wont be able to wear cute jewelry once healed. I have a growing blister on it now and know Ill get blamed in the reply. Besides their online responses, I will give them this-- theyre super sweet, after my first experience they called and apologized, offered to refund my shirt, gave me a free NeilMed, offered to re-pierce for free! My other piercings are healing beautifully. Their customer service is awesome! 5 stars if it wasnt for my blistered daith. I will go somewhere else to get it removed as the blister is growing. Was told that rinsing the piercing off in the shower is bad and to clean with a q tip, maybe true, but just want a 2nd opinion now.

My friend and I both had piercings done (my first and their second) by Vega Von Wulf (coolest name out there). Vega was very comforting and accommodating as a first timer. We were walked through choosing jewelry, sterile procedure, and thorough after care instructions.As my nit-picky self, I was troubled by the slight difference in placement once the earrings were actually in. Vega happily re-peirced and was very helpful throughout.I highly recommend this location and Vega gave us excellent service!

Got my septum pierced by Bailey Wirth & I’m obsessed! Was so scared for the pain but it’s the least painful piercing I’ve gotten so far (out of belly button, nose, nipples, ears). Granted, I put a little numbing cream on before but pretty sure it was wiped off when she was sterilizing. Super easy, fast & fun experience! 11/10 recommend!!

Vega was amazing, I got a replacement piercing and change out on my nostril. I got a beautiful piece that is real diamond and real rose gold. Exactly what i’ve been looking for and fits flush to my skin, it looks perfect. Great quality piece, it was pricier but I definitely got quality service and a piece that holds its value.

Love Stay True Tattoo! I have only gotten piercings from them, so I cant speak on tattoo artist. But both Vega and Ericka are amazing, super down to earth, easy going piercers! I highly recommend them, extremely clean, use the correct jewelry, and wait times for piercings are never super long. Really impressed with Stay True!! If I could give a 10 out of 5 stars I would. I love this place. I came here for my piercings and they always did me right so I decided to come in for a tattoo. Israel was who did my tattoo and he did amazing. He has such a light hand and drew up my tattoo so perfect. He payed such attention to detail and was so sweet and made sure I was feeling okay the whole time. He did amazing ! (I went a few weeks ago and wanted to wait until my piercing healed a bit) Ericka was so awesome. I got a Medusa piercing done and she explained everything. I told her Im a fainter and she took extra steps to make sure I wouldnt get hurt if I fainted. I was very impressed that she free handed and placed it perfectly. The atmosphere was great and the girl at the front desk was nice. I plan to get a tattoo in the future and will definitely go to Stay True Tattoo.

Ericka pierced my septum. i had had a septum ring before, somewhere else, and it was done very poorly so i was scared to redo it. She was very kind and informative, and gave me advice on how to make the piercing experience generally better. she pierced it and it gebuinely didnt even hurt. SOOOO much better than the firt time i got it done, i wont be getting pierced anywhere else from now on!

Had such a great experience! I had my nose piercing done by Vega Von Wulf and she was awesome. I was so nervous and she was so understanding, patient and made me feel like a boss after I got it done!

My sister wanted to get her ears pierced, so I agreed to go with her and get a tattoo. I set up an appointment with a random artist and they gave my idea to Joel. He asked a few questions about my design and seemed confident so I prepaid (required) and tipped him generously before he even started the tattoo. The tattoo he gave me is the worst Ive ever received. The line work is rough, the shading is horrible, and he was so heavy handed that my tattoo is already scarring 3 days later. I reached out to Joel via Instagram and he admitted he did a rough job on the tattoo and he apologized for the work he did. I then attempted to ask for reparations given the fact that Im going to have to pay for another tattoo entirely to get this one covered and he ignored it. I would shy away from going to him altogether, and Ive had many of my other artists say theyre surprised hes even got a place in a shop doing work like this. If he had made an attempt to make things right I wouldnt have written this, but he was unwilling and I dont want anybody else to go through the same trouble.

Vega is literally amazing! She cares so much about her clients, her techniques are the best I have personally experienced and witnessed, she is so gentle and makes sure her clients are comfortable! She is so kind and really cares about the aftercare of piercings and goes above and beyond to help her clients no matter what! She explained my piercing and reassured me about all of my anxieties. She also is hilarious and super precious! I highly recommend seeing her!

Came to visit family so we were out of town and picked this place to get a septum piercing since they had great reviews. I want to say they were by far the best piercing place I have used especially since I was nervous that the septum can get messed up really easy. They were amazing and sweet and I plan to take my daughter for her ears in the near future! If I need another piercing I would definitely travel for it! Thank you!

I call 2 weeks ago and made appointment with Vega she is amazing she text me about what she could do for me and help me figure out what I wanted she was great through everything I am not good with pain but she was patient with me and she still got everything I wanted done. Iam telling u if u need a down to earth person that makes u feel comfortable and still does amazing work that who u need to ask Vega von wulf. Ill definitely be back to see her lol she getting all my piercing money. And iam from California I’ve been looking for a good shop to get my stuff done. Friendly place. When Im in there, I forget that Im in Lubbock and I feel like Im in Austin again. I got my lip and eyebrow done by Josh and he was super friendly. He kind of goes right for it when he pierces you. Not sure if thats a great thing or a little scary. Worked great for me because hes real quick. Obviously a piercing is going to hurt, but it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Maybe Ill get something more painful pierced for a better perspective.Everyone was cool that I talked to. No one had a big head. Josh had a lot of experience with creative piercings. Hes even done a uvula. Id recommend him if youre looking to get anything pierced but Im sure that they have a lot of great professionals there to get any body mods done. Theres a reason why they have such a high rating after so many reviews

Every experience I have had at Stay True has been amazing, their piercers are very professional and polite, and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve been pierced there around 3 times and each time they have made me feel welcome and comfortable. Will be coming back!

Before getting four ear piercings at this place, I had five piercings on my body that I did at three different piercing places. My experience at this place was by far the worst ever in terms of price and quality. The employees were completely unprofessional and my piercer was inexperienced and incompetent. The employees were sitting around and chatting while customers were waiting, and my piercer didn’t even have anything set up when she knew I was coming in at a specific time to do specific piercings. They made me pay and tip before I had the service. This made things difficult because I had also wanted to buy two septum rings, but they were so expensive that I told them I only wanted the simpler one I had asked them to put in. They charged me for the more expensive one and then when I noticed that my piercer had brought that one to put in I told her I had wanted the other one and they wouldn’t refund me but gave me store credit instead. They also did not have fixed prices and seemed to be charging based on bias; I wanted to buy a bottle of cleaning mist to clean my piercings and the lady asked another lady how much she wanted to charge me for it and it was much more expensive than I’d paid for a bottle of the same size before. The piercing experience was horrible. I explained what I wanted to my piercer and showed her photos. I wanted two hoops on one ear that were higher up on my lobe and asymmetrical to the triple piercing I wanted on the other ear. She drew the dots several times and I told her that I wanted them higher up and closer together. She said okay and drew/erased them a few more times on. I finally believed that she had moved them up and said okay because I thought she understood my request. She pierced them exactly as a normal triple piercing instead of how I had wanted them and then refused to take one out and re-pierce it. I had to take it out myself when I got home. She also was unable to close either of the hoops she put in but messed with them for about 10 minutes while pulling them and pulling my hair. It was very painful and she kept telling me not to move as if it was my fault she couldn’t do a simple piercing. Because she wasn’t able to close the hoops, they kept getting caught in my hair and twisting to come out of the holes. I basically had to re-pierce one of the hoops that came out because it wasn’t closed when I got home. I had to try to close it more myself, but I still can’t get it to close all the way without the tools she has. She also messed with putting the backs on the earrings on the other side which was painful. I also noticed that two of my piercings were done at an angle instead of straight through the ear. I think even Claire’s in the mall could do a better job with ear piercings than she did. The piercings and jewelry were over-priced for a low quality place but I had trusted them and wanted the simple piercings, so I didn’t have a problem with it before she did the piercings. I also generously tipped her before the piercings, which I regret. I paid $195 for four ear piercings, a septum ring, and a bottle of cleaner. I would not recommend this place for piercings to anyone. The overall experience was awful. I do appreciate how I was contacted by the business to resolve these issues as soon as I posted this and I plan to work with them to resolve this.

Went in for four piercings right when they opened on 8/30 - two nostril, then a third lobe in each ear. Shop was clean, everyone was super friendly, and the awesome lady who pierced my ears and my nose made it quick! She marked with little dots and let me look and adjust, showed me the piercing packages before starting each piercing so I could see they were unopened and up-to-date, and was really great to talk to through the whole thing. Walked me through aftercare and everything. Wonderful experience! Ill be going back!

When I called to schedule an appointment, the receptionist helped me get the person I was wanting. I was able to get a same day appointment. A very clean and orderly studio. I went with my sister and he cleaned up and sterilized before he did my sister after me. I am absolutely thrilled with my tattoo and will be going back for more.

This was the second shop I went to, they were so incredibly nice! I also noticed how sterile and clean the shop was. I felt more than comfortable to get my tattoo there. Danielle was amazing!!! She was extremely nice and obviously loved her job, not to mention the immaculate quality of her work. I am in love with my tattoo. I definitely plan on going back there as soon as possible! Definitely the BEST shop in Lubbock!!!!

It’s very nice and clean in their shop. It even smells clean. They have a tv on the wall as soon as you walk in and a nice fish tank. I appreciate how aesthetic their shop and rooms are! And I also appreciate how much they take care of it! My piercer was Lego. He’s so chill just like the rest of the workers there. Lego made the process go by quickly and smoothly! He felt for my sweet spot, which was something I didn’t see all piercers do on YouTube. After the piercing was done, he explained deeply how to clean it and how to take care of it etc. You KNEW that he knew what the hell he was talking about👌🏻. I recently just got piercings done by Cat and I absolutely love them! Cat is awesome very friendly, personable, full of info, and professional. She did a great job. The woman at the front desk was also a peach. Great atmosphere great vibes! I felt welcome and wanted right away! I recommend everyone come here! I was so pleased with my outcome that I brought my sister in to get her piercings done by Cat as well!! Couldnt be happier with my decision to go here!

Edited for 5 stars: The owner of the shop contacted me immediately to offer to repierce for free. I just got around to having it done today, and Erica was amazing! My fresh septum piercing is such an improvement from last time! Very professional, always clean, and super friendly! (The original piercer no longer works there)I didnt want to write a bad piercing review because I really enjoyed my time at the shop and my piercer was very clean and super cool and friendly, but I got my septum pierced 7/6/19 and its done nothing but make me self conscious. The piercing is pretty crooked, so much so I almost want to hide it. When I got it done I mentioned it and he said it was my nose that was crooked, but you can visibly see the holes dont line up straight. After a few weeks of healing, I contacted the piercer with photos and they did not want to re-pierce but wanted to try other jewelry, but I honestly dont think that would fix it. Im just sad and self conscious and I honestly dont know what my next step should be. Also, for the record, my friends got piercings the same day and they all came out fabulous!
