Transparency of informaiton is vital in a business relationship. I felt Paul Stowick, our salesperson, was honest and detailed about the vehicle, available options for purchase, and cost. He always told us the person in the company he or we would be talking to, and what would be discussed. He made the purchase as simple as possible. He was also a lot of fun to work with, as he has very friendly personality.

Paul Verkamp, whom is over the service department at Alderson Cadillac, could not have been more unqualified from an interpersonal perspective. He gave off the energy that he knows everything and everyone else knows nothing. He didn’t act remorseful that it took him so long to get back to me via phone call to make my appointment in the first place. My entire family has bought from Alderson for generations. He made no effort to explain anything but the generic basics. It really was pitiful. In the end I felt sorry for him. He looked miserable.To expect a smile and a little remorse is not asking for a lot. I realize it may not come easy for some... but if you are going to take a job that calls for customer service, make sure you at least make an effort towards doing the right thing. It doesn’t take that much effort to smile or show understanding. A little will go a long way in my book.

The service department is horrible wish I could rate it a zero husband took his truck in for a oil change and had something done to his truck about a year ago that had to do with a oil leak that was supposed to be fixed and I don’t think they fixed it because it’s now leaking again and instead of calling my husband and telling him that it would be best for them to fix the leak that was supposed to be fix then do the oil change he decides to tell him that when he goes and see if it’s ready only to tell him they did nothing. Besides that they never answer the phone. No communication at all wouldn’t recommend going there.

He was not pushy. He was willing to go above and beyond to make sure I am happy with my purchase. Always available when I text him or call him for a question or help. Horrible communication! Tried to get my Cadillac serviced and even tried to schedule appointment. I could never get a hold of someone as simple as that! I had to call multiple times and noone would ever answer!?! I had to come next day and spoke to Paul, service advisor/manager I presume. Paul DID NOT seem to enjoy his job from the looks of it, pretty off putting! If this is their Cadillac dealership in Lubbock, it sure was a 1st horrible impression!! Paul told me they only had 1 technician and I wasnt going to be rude and backlog them. I left and will probably never come back here! If I need any service, Ill gladly take my service to Crest Cadillac in Frisco where they at least have plenty of people working and are professional. Ill go visit my family there as I get my work done there.

I wish I could give a lower review score but unfortunately I cant. I would avoid this dealership at all cost. I’m not sure about the sales part, but the service part... avoid it at all cost! Paul has been unprofessional from the beginning.My boyfriend has taken his CTS 4-5 different times (honestly we lost count on how many times we have taken it back) to fix the head gasket. He paid full price to get everything on his car fixed. Nothing has been fixed since. So this last time they decided to replace the entire head assembly, awesome we thought. Then they told us they lost the tracking and didn’t know where the part was or when it was going to arrive. 2 months later the part arrived. Paul finally texted us without us bothering him about the status. He said that they were going to get started as soon as possible (like it hasn’t been 2 months already). Then my boyfriend gets a call from the receptionist (very nice lady, this is not her fault) called to set up an appointment to bring the car in... lack of communication in the dealership! How can they not keep up with a clients car?!Fast forward to this past Friday. Paul texted us telling us that the tech was able to start the car no problem (about time!) and that they were going to do a few more checks to make sure everything is okay and that the car will be ready by the end of the day Friday (that is fine).Well now Paul is keeping us in the shadows, not answering phone calls, and text messages. What is wrong with the car now? Is it fixed? When do we need to go pick up the car. We just need a simple answer.Again I would at all cost avoid the service section of Alderson.

I wanted to trade my Cadillac in because my dog passed away in it and there were too many bad memories. I contacted Alderson about a Mercedes and I was put in touch with Chad Thornton. When I visited, the Mercedes was too small for my needs and Chad pointed out a 2011 Toyota Forerunner. It was beautiful. He was extremely helpful but not pushy. We bought the Forerunner and, as we drove off, my husband commented that Chad treated us as if we were buying a $60,000.00automobile. He was so helpful and thorough with delivery and follow up. Could not be happier. I had also had my Cadillac in for minor repairs and the service department was equally as helpful and friendly. Will always go back to Alderson!4-2015---I just bought another Cadillac at Alderson and they were as great as before. Chad helped me again and Ryan advised as well. Tech didn’t shut my air filter housing Right. It made my vehicle run horrible. Check engine light turned on. Vehicle shut off on me at a red light. Called to make a complaint was told to bring it the next morning. I live 40 miles outside of town. When I figured out what it was I never called them and told them but I never received a courtesy call or anything about my complaint. If they would of just called to see how things were going that would of made this situation better.

Service is horrible! I purchased an SRX less than a year ago. Now, the car will not start. It appears that the battery has failed at only 8k miles. I called service advisor for about an hour and a half leaving messages due to being stranded at my office. She did not call me back. It was only when I kept calling and demanded to speak with someone that she finally picked up the phone. I kept offering to bring it in and she kept telling me that roadside assistance would come out and change battery to save a trip to dealership. So I jumpstart my new vehicle and drove it home. I called roadside assistance and he explained to me that they no longer carry batteries and are not allowed to change batteries anymore. Apparently, they have not done this for a while. When I went to dealership next morning and spoke with the same advisor and told her they had lied to me, she became very argumentative. She said that she did not lie and blamed the roadside assistance. By the way, there were no loaner cars available for two and a half weeks. When we were looking to purchase the vehicle, they very super nice. Everyone, from sales person, sales manager, and finance manager, they were all great at the beginning. Now when there is an issue, no one takes responsibility. They are all defending the staff lying to me. When we were in process of buying SRX, we were told that we could get a loaner car any time our car needed service. Apparently, this has changed after we purchased vehicle. If your are looking to purchase, your experience should be good. They want your money. If you need service, good luck with that.

Alderson sent me an email asking about their service. And, rather than retype it. Ill just post the contents of the response from my email:I am actually very disappointed with Alderson Cadillac. I moved here from Dallas, where Massey Cadillac provided a completely different experience. An experience that I thought was fitting of Cadillac. Here are a few of the disappointments I’ve encountered in just two visits so far:I brought the car in the first time because some clear coating on some trim was peeling. The parts were not in stock. And, it was estimated that they would arrive two days later on Wednesday. My wife wanted me to retrieve her car until then, because she really enjoys driving it. So I went back to the dealership to get it in my car. I had two cars at the dealership at this point. So they asked me to take one of their employees back to work after they drove my car back home. I thought that was a bit odd. I was provided loaner cars in Dallas, and now I’m providing a taxi service here in Lubbock. Of course, I wouldn’t have had two cars there if loaner vehicles were available.Fast forward to Friday of the following week. 9 days late relative to their estimated part arrival. And after I’d assumed we’d already been forgotten and would need to call in again. I received a text message at 9:10 AM. I called back 5 minutes later to schedule an appointment. I was told that there was a time slot available that same day at 11AM to get the car fixed. I was also informed that there would not be a loaner car again. Our baby’s car seat is in the car that needed work. Which I shared with the girl on the phone. She told me this would only take an hour. Two tops. There’s no way it would take longer. So, I retrieved the car from my wife, and drove it to Alderson without shuffling that car seat to my car. I asked someone from work follow me to Alderson so that I could get a ride back. The last time I relied on the shuttle, it was already out dropping off customers. And, between waiting for it for 20 minutes, and it dropping other customers off before me. It was an additional 45 minutes before I got back to work on top of the time I spent at the dealership.I never had to ask for a loaner back at Massey in Dallas. And, I had a loaner EVERY time I ever went there for warranty work. I’ve only been to Alderson for warranty work twice now. But, so far EVERY time they have not had a car. It’s a bit underwhelming for a Cadillac. My parents never seem to have an issue getting loaners when their Colorado, or Impala need work. I was told by one employee, that loaner cars are typically provided if the work is scheduled 2 weeks in advance. So, apparently you need to predict the day your car will need service if it’s not cosmetic like mine was. And, have it break down in their driveway. If you don’t want to rely on their shuttle service.Nearly 7 hours go by. I’m busy working on a project that is opening for the first time to the public at 5pm. My wife calls and asks where her car is at. I asked her to call and check on status. It’s now 4:54pm, just minutes from the public opening. She calls me back and tells me that they will be ready in another 30 minutes. Which would put it near 5:30. We have our son in day care that closes at 6pm. And charges ridiculous fees if we’re late. Keep in mind, they had convinced me not to take the car seat out. Because this repair couldn’t possibly take more than 2 hours. Apparently they didn’t even start the 11am service until 4pm. Now, my wife doesn’t have a way to make it to the dealership and then back to day care to pick up our son without risking a late fee. She asks them to drive the car to the day car to close the gap in time. Thankfully, they agree to meet my wife at the day care. But they want her to drive their employee back to the dealership. She told them she couldn’t, and thankfully, they also agreed to provide a shadow car to take that employee back. We can’t provide a taxi service with our infant son. Who even asks that?

I found Gilbert, a Majestic Plum Metallic gorgeous 2015 CTS that I named Gilbert due to the grapeish color! Got him last Tuesday nite and drove to Ft. Worth the next day. Absolutely fantastic!!!!
