Poor customer service...or shall I say NO customer service. Not one person working here said one single word to me. BUT when the not latino people walked in they suddenly could speak. What a shame. Far better places in town anyway. Wont come to this place ever again.

Such a great experience to walk around a look at each tree and the decorations. Staff is friendly and helpful. We happens to be there when Santa was there set up in the very back. Able to take own photos on phone. So many things to look at. Puts you in the Christmas spirit for sure. Ornaments, lights, stockings and so many things to buy.

Wide selection, all seasons, indoir and outdoor plants, pet accessories, garden items including outdoor furniture are on sale, and alot of misc. Good sales.

Don’t trust this company to do what the say they will do. I called last year to have my trees sprayed this spring and was told I had to call back in the spring. I called over a month ago and they said they would spray them. They did not show up. I called and was given the run around saying they were out spraying but not to worry because they were going to spray. They never showed up and finally I spoke with Wayne Holland the owner and he assured me they would be out the next day. They never showed up. I called next day and left message and got a call from them saying they were coming out today. Well they did and the driver said it was too late to spray and that we missed the opportunity by just a day. He said if he sprayed it would cause double the amount of acorns to drop. I think Wayne should sell the business to someone that can provide the service people deserve. Holland Gardens is not anything like it used to be.

Holland Gardens is a fantastic place to obtain professional, quality service. The staff is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and takes the time to explain, explore options and make recommendations. I have been a patron of Holland Garden for years and I cannot recommend any place more highly. Great job!

Excellent selection of Christmas collectibles and ornaments. It is a tradition I look forward to with my family every year. We all pick a new ornament and add it to our tree. Fun times.

I was surprised! Have you ever been there? Today 9/24/2020, there is a small Halloween section for home decor and there is a full Christmas Winter Wonderland there for home decor. There are beautiful green and purple leaf cabbage to decorate your winter garden and trees are on sale!

I am not allowed to shop here because my disability after my service in the Army left me with severe COPD and exempt from the mask requirement as per GA29 and CDC guidelines. Mask or no entry. I took my business elsewhere and will not be returning.This actually cones as good news to me for every Christmas I always spent way over what I intended. Actually I should thank you.Good day.

I am so proud that Holland Gardens is a part of Lubbock because they truly represent our town! They are the nicest, kindest, most helpful people ever!! They let you browse without being pushy but if you need to know about something they are right there to answer! Nothing I have bought from here has ever died prematurely and they have some of the coolest veggies and fruits to grow!!!Haven’t been here for Christmas yet but heard it’s one of the most magical times the soul could ever have and I can’t wait!

Seriously… I went to return something that I was NOT happy with and I felt like I was being interrogated!!! If you’re not happy with something you shouldn’t question it!!! Then I was questioned if all the pieces were there as if you’re put it back on the shelf… NEVER AGAIN!!!

We spent a lot of money on Christmas lights here. We bought 188 LED lightbulbs got home to put them up and they actually only have us 161 light bulbs. We went back to the store and the guy simply said that happens sometimes and we had to REPAY for the 27 bulbs THEY shorted us. Awful experience.

A visit to Holland Gardens is a family tradition.

Really awesome store. One of those unique Lubbock stores thats been locally owned since its opened. And at Christmas time, they have free Santa pictures which the kids love.

I was impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of the employees. Also, Holland gardens carries a large variety of natural and organic products for people that want to go that route. They were the only ones in Lubbock that had a liquid calcium magnesium product available. I would recommend this garden store above the other garden stores in Lubbock.

Quality plants, amazing decor, but the best part is how lovely Mr. & Mrs. Holland are!

Christmas Heaven! If you are visiting Lubbock stop by here. Its a store filled with Christmas trees which after loaded down with every ornament imaginable. Also some different and unique products.

Love this store at the holidays (which is the only time I go when Im in town to visit family). Such a fun and unique experience and the kids love walking around and taking it all in. We enjoy the selection of ornaments though some are a bit overpriced.

Expert and experienced personnel, courteous, helpful....Holland Gardens provides fantastic decorations and ideas whether its Halloween or the Christmas splendor that fills the store and the air for the holidays. Beautiful merchandise....especially at Christmas but not handicap friendly as You can barely push a buggy thru them...I have to limit my shopping time there as I cannot safely maneuver my electric cart in there because they have so many beautiful displays so close together

This place was great! The Hollands are very nice. James was really helpful, Im an out of state Gardener helping my boyfriend with his Lubbock yard and garden. I had a lot of questions about soils, pH, alklinity, and plant recommendations.

The people that work there are not always the most helpful folks. But theyre not unfriendly either. The selection of grow stuff is pretty impressive for Lubbock or just in Texas for that matter... and its surprisingly affordable. If only they had a better selection of led lights. And one more thing... during Christmas decorating season dont even think about looking at grow stuff. They take all the grow stuff down and fill every square inch of that place with Christmas crap.

I do most of my shopping there during spring and summer. Staff always seems to be very knowledgeable about fertilizers and feeding times. And what not to do. We have slightly different views on watering but thats ok.

Horrible horrible horrible. I showed up at exactly 5:58 this evening. A woman walking out with a plant said, Oh sorry girls theyre closed. I said well surely not, I still got two minutes. I got to the door and the lady was locking it. They saw me running, they saw me trying my hardest to got there. No remorse whatsoever!

We absolutely LOVE Hollands! Ok so my husbands family had a tradition since he can remember their mother would take them here every year about Christmas time to pick out a tree ornament of their choosing with their name and year engraved. Me and my family were not as fortunate but not a reason to deny our daughter of the wonderful opportunity to do the same. 8 years weve done so with her and I absolutely LOVE just LOVE and look forward to doing this. Its not even so much the ornament but our Christmas wouldnt be the same if we didnt go and see the beautiful scenery they always display. Not to mention the santa clause always there for the kids at no cost, thats right NO COST and your allowed to take pictures on your cell or any device for that matter sure does beat south plains mall santa. Now weve never taken advantage of this, Im not sure I could actually tell you why but we oh so enjoy. I guess you could say its become our traditional as well. Hmp! I just now realized this! God bless America and bless you all as well. Give thanks to this beautiful country state city community and neighbors for we are all blessed to live in the greatest country on earth. Thats right if youre reading this know you are abundantly blessed for there is always someone in this world has it so much worse. Thanks Holland Garden for just being you!!!

Very unacommadating. DO NOT buy anything and expect to return it except for store credit. I bought a string of lights several years ago from Holland Gardens. I bought replacement bulbs from them and they would not work in in the string they sold me. They refused at return and would only give me a store credit. Shame on you Holland Gardens.
