Very hot inside and no staff. I was sent to womens then to main service desk and stood there for 5 minutes. Finally someone told me to go to mens entrance and i stood in line for 20 minutes. I got my order but 45 minutes in different lines.

I was looking for some shoes and I was helped by a young lady named Bettye. She was very helpful and she found me two pair of Pumas and I also bought three really nice sport shirts. Without her help, I would have never found anything. Bettye was very pleasant as well as helpful. Yall should be very proud of her. Thanks again Bettye.

Jc pennys does not carry nice clothes like they use too. Their too expensive for they way they look. They have changed over the years and its not worth buying any items

A few months back I went into jc pennys to purchase a wedding ring set. I found the one I wanted and the sales person ran my debit card and gave me all the warranty info . Then told me they have to hold my ring for 48 hrs to make sure payment went through. I had never heard of anything like that so I was really confused. I opened my Wells Fargo app and saw where the payment had come out of my bank account. I showed the lady and then she told her manager and they still acted like they weren’t sure if they would let me take the ring. I told them that the money has been taken out of my account so I’m taking my ring home. They reluctantly let me. I have always wondered if this was an actual policy or did they think I didn’t have the money in my account or did they think maybe that it want my card. It was really weird

I dont shop JCpenney often, but today reminded me why I dont. Im ready to check out, one rep, named Dylan was quiet busy back and forth on the floor and checking. Meanwhile 2 others were standing there, one messing with a computer the other looked like she was afraid to move unless instructed to. Neither one took the time to make anyone feel acknowledged whatsoever. Thank you Dylan for busting your butt off for your customers.

Actually shopped at Sephora....pretty disappointed this time and last time with in store experience....I understand in light of covid-19 that you cant have testers, but why they have absolutely or practically no merchandise in stock is perplexing and off putting....Im just going to stick to online shopping and dreadfully slow shipping even though I pay $10 annual fee to have my stuff shipped in two days which also doesnt occur. Just keeping my experience honest.

Fix the air conditioning. It is ridiculous that its been months and the AC does not work. I feel sorry for the employees that have to work in that condition. No wonder they all looked absolutely miserable.

Service was good. Found what we were looking for and it was on sale.

Its always so clean and sanitized when I go, I love it and I appreciate how organized it tends to be here because its such a big store, with an upstairs for the kids section and the restrooms. Elevator available.

It was so hot!!! Why doesnt the AC ever work? They want us to social distance but only have one register open. The line was so long. You can tell the staff and the customers were all upset.

Their Big and Tall selection SUCKS. They cater to a younger generation, so their suits and coats are a joke. Try getting something the older generation, the ones with the money, would wear.

I really like JC Penney. This location is rundown. Limited registers open and returns are a pain. So sad to see this store slowly failing. Please dont let your cheapness cause this company to fail. I will return because I love the clothing quality and styles and prices. I definitely will return and recommend this store.

Went to purchase a hair product from salon and had the best customer service. Worker named Dustin went out of his way to help and figure out how to get me a really good deal another store had offered. He literally came after me after I first left to stop me so we can figure out the problem. I want to thank him for the Best Customer service Ive experienced in a long time.

Had a bad experience with jc trying to exchange a pair of pants that accidentally got washed and didn’t fit. Being a dedicated customer. I thoughts they could overlook it and exchange them.as of my surprise they refused. Thinking of dropping jc as a customer...

They had quite the selection of business wear which was very nice.

The young girl that help us was great in the jewelry dept. Didnt get her name but her bday is in May, this was late Sunday afternoon.

They didnt have a big selection of clearance. And I couldnt use extra savings offered on clearance.

This place is awesome. They have everything. And the quality is great too. Everything from our sheets to towels comes from here. Most of our kitchen and all of my clothes. Great selection of shoes and footwear. I have gotten most of my wifes jewelry from here too and a bunch of mine. Great place to shop.

Decent selection of clothes. I picked out an armload of items to purchase. Then proceeded to wander the store for 15 minutes to try and check out. Every register I found was closed. I put my items down and left. It shouldnt be THAT hard to spend money!

The sales associate kept looking at me as if I were just browsing although I kept standing in front of display case looking at her not walking around. She helped two other people which ended in no sale.Realizing I was still standing looking at her she came to assist me. She was very courtious and I did end up purchasing the item.

They have good clothing stocks. I go their frequently and their clothing items are exceptionally good. Their service quality is also top notch. They also have good collections of women clothings too. They provide good deals sometime specially during Black Friday. They also provide credit card to their customers.

Penneys is my go-to for professional work clothes. Their Worthington line is classic with a mix of fresh, fun fabrics and designs. The Lubbock store has a new layout, things are much more organized and easy to shop.

Everyone working here is super helpful and friendly . & The clearance prices are incredible!

This particular Penneys has everything you could ever need! Huge variety of clothing compared to other stores. And every size is covered; big & tall or extra small. Theyve got you covered. We checked out near the Liz Claiborne Career clothes.We had the friendliest, most helpful & outgoing sales associate. Didnt get her name, but she had beautiful purple hair. She was so kind & I bet shell be running the store some day!

I had a very unpleasant experience here at JCPenney. They were sponsoring a 40% off professional clothing for Texas Tech students, faculty and staff and I was told that a pair of dark grey dress pants would qualify for the discount by an employee, but they would not honor the discount and said the pants did not qualify. It seems that this place is very deceitful and has incompetent staff working there. I would not recommend coming here at all. Amazon is a much better option and they are very likely cheaper anyway. This place is only good to figure out what size you wear so you can just go buy what you need off Amazon.

This store is slowly weeding itself out of the business. Employees that don’t care, messy displays, empty racks and bathrooms. Not sure anyone works here. It a huge store but has nothing for you. Sound weird? Once you go in you’ll understand.

Sad to see this store not being supported enough. Large appliances, gone. Furniture, gone. At least the store is kept up. However, when all gone, we will lose the ability to browse and discover things..and then run to an online portal to purchase. Then we will have to rely on pictures/videos/reviews and AI driven recommendations only. Congrats America, stay at home with Netflix, and order a new pair of shoes to walk around your house to get your order from the front door.

First off my wife and I ordered shoes for me and my step son on Black Friday. Finally get notified that my shoes were in to come pick them up. We went to the store here in Lubbock to get them, when we got out to the car we noticed they were the wrong size and style. Go back in to the store and the lady at the counter proceeds to tell my wife well she doesnt have time to go look for the right shoes but my wife can do this ladies job and go find them. Well with that attitude we just got our money back. Then JC Penny charged us again for the same order. Then my step sons shoes come in the mail today and guess what they are the wrong size and type. We still have not heard from their fraud dept and been waiting 2 weeks. All we wanted was a good deal on shoes not 2 1/2 weeks of getting the run around. So no we will not shop there again.
