Ill admit, I walked into this location with my guard up and defense ready to retaliate. Little did I know that I was in for a rude awaken.From management to their customer oriented sales team these individuals are operating with values that are upright, professional and worth anyones business.I was blown away with how understandable, helpful and people focused they were. Ill never question where we (my fiancee) will be doing business for our next dime piece.

Complete disregard to a persons finances. They ran our card 5 times charging every time. Told us it was no big deal and it would all be reversed. Don’t mind the fact it could take 24-72 hours! We are still fighting to get one of the four over charges reversed. This is your problem ZALES, Not mine but yet I am the one burdened. What a shame

On 5 December 2020 went to Zales to have a stone added to a mothers ring. Was told it would take about 10 days and cost around $80. I called multiple times over the next 3 months to check on it. Got the run around. I called on 3 March and told them to get the ring back and Id come get it. 9 March they called and said it was done. Went to pick it up 10 March and the bill was over $190 with taxes. They denied giving the stated estimate cost wise and made no apologies for taking 3 months instead of the estimated 10 days.

I would not give them any stars if that was an option. The experience my fiancé and I have had at the Lubbock Tx location could not have been worse. I swear, Wal-Mart has better customer service than this place. It all started when my bridal set was purchased and was going to be sent off to be resized. This took well over six weeks. Then it came back with the engagement ring warped and BROKEN. Then it got shipped off to be fixed AGAIN for over six weeks and it came back a different size and a different ring. I went to complain in store and they said all they could do was overnight it to a place in California. Then they said they could send it to Dallas after more back and fourth, and finally after more arguing it was supposed to be sent locally here in Lubbock. I said I did not want this but rather a refund at the point because I have been engaged for MONTHS and still to this day do not have my ring. I called customer service and was told an email would be sent to my local store to give me a refund. I tried again to go get said refund and they told me they would not honor this. So I called customer service yet again and was told it had to be dealt with in store or by a manager. I was given a number to call corporate and was on the phone for over another hour to make it all the way up the chain of command to be told that because it was past the 30 days, they could no longer issue a refund even though the first thirty days it was in THEIR possession being resized for seven weeks. It is now December and I have no ring and no refund and I have had the worst service I have ever received in my life and I would never recommend that even my worst enemy to business here. We have learned our lesson and will shop locally from now on.

HORRIBLE SERVICEMy husband and I bought my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands at the Zales in Amarillo, TX because I loved the ring I had gotten with my birthstone. When we sent my engagement ring to be sized they did not reapply the rose gold plate to my ring so half of it was rose gold and half of it was silver. When I got my engagement ring(sterling silver with a rose gold plate) and my wedding band (rose gold) cleaned their machine BURNT my engagement ring and turned the part with out the rose gold plate BLACK. The sales woman did NOT inform me that my ring would be BURNT by their cleaning machine, nor did she apologize. I sent my engagement ring to have the ROSE GOLD plate reapplied and they applied a YELLOW GOLD finish. I am appalled at how insincere and uninformed the employees are about their products they have SOLD to customers.

I do NOT recommend them. Over last 7 yrs I got my wedding/ anniversary bands. Their saudering is a joke. All my jewelry is purchased with warranty and life time repair. Anniversary band must have been made with aluminum foil. The saudering broke. I called yesterday to make sure they were open and found out that they could no longer fix my repairs. So my lifetime warranty for service on my ring can not be fixed with them. I took my rings to Robert Lance jewelers in Lubbock and they had no problem fixing it even though I had to pay a little instead of using warranty. So Zales service isn’t what you are going to get with your jewelry and customer service yesterday wasn’t very friendly

My husband bought my engagement & wedding band for Christmas. It wasnt sauldered together like requested & was the wrong size so we had it sent back. Took 2 weeks longer than expected, had it for 3 days to notice a diamond was missing and the band was tarnishing. The woman who sold it to us sold us a sterling silver ring instead of a white gold, which caused the tarnishing, the diamond was replaced but with a smaller one and was noticeable. Sent back yet again. We were told they would make it right but never did, we wound up giving the engagement ring back for store credit and purchased another one for $300 more. The new rings were supposed to be back July 7th and was told today to expect a call in a few more weeks for pickup. WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ZALES AGAIN.

I am giving this place 5 stars specifically because of the sales girl we had, Tait. She was amazing through the whole ring buying process. We had many options on where to go to buy our rings but we chose Zales and that was mostly because of Tait. She made sure we got exactly what we wanted and that we were completely happy with our purchase. I can’t put into words how amazing she was. By the end of the process, it felt like we were family because she was so attentive, patient and put so much time and effort into our rings. If you are looking for a ring or any type of jewelry... go to Zales in Lubbock and ask for Tait. You will be so happy you did!

I bought my wifes wedding rings online and purchased the protection plan through the local store and everytime we go in to have the rings cleaned, they offer to clean mine as well even though my ring doesnt have any kind of ties to the local store. Theyre always amazing and Ill continue to shop here until they give me a reason not to

I didn’t even want to give y’all one star. I ordered something online and was charged twice for it. They said it was policy and within 4- week I could get my money back. Why the hell would they charge me twice to make sure I had the money in my account. It also took 2 weeks to get it when it said it was only going to be 2-3 days. Probably the worse place to ever order jewelry from.

So my fiancé and I have spent well over $5,500 on our wedding bands. I went in to up size my stone. Associate told me it would take 3 weeks. Okay fine. Then after going home I realize I will be out of town for 2 weeks stating the day of the end of the 3 week mark, so I call to to make sure that they can get my ring here before March 6th. I would like it the 5th since I leave early on the 6th. Manager told me he would call the “lab” or wherever they do the upsizing and resizing and they supposably told him they would for sure have it and even told me he will have it here on the 2nd. Okay cool! So March 2nd comes and no phone call so I call and they said I’m sorry they haven’t shipped it but they will ship it tomorrow and you will have it Wednesday the 4th or Thursday the 5th okay I said as long as I have it Thursday since i will be out of town for two weeks. Wednesday passes and then Thursday comes... so my fiancé decides to walk in the mall and ask.. well guess what. They hasn’t even shipped the ring. Supposably they had just shipped it today. So I’m frustrated. Basically they said they can’t do anything about it and didn’t even offer to do anything to make it better. Here I go without a ring for 5/6 weeks.

I bought a ring from them in December and 5 months later I still have no ring! Each time I have called to check on the progress of the order their was was “I don’t know” or “I’m not sure”! I called the corporate office and no one even bothered to return my call! Called the Grapevine store and got more answers from them did I did the lubbock store!You are better off calling one of the Dallas stores and placing an order over the phone!That is the first and the last time I buy from Zales. They could not even give me a refund because they didn’t know where the ring was!Did I mention I have been up there 5 times to talk to them about it!? Or to pick up a ring that was the wrong size!

Theyre lucky theyre getting 1 star from me only because I have to give a star to write this review. Went in today to purchase a ring for my dad for my mother... waited for 45mins because I got that they were busy... I was passed up once by a man who came in after me... fine I let it go...the salesman informed me Id be next... so he tells the Asian lady Im next and she stands there and as Im about to tell her what Im looking for she stops me and says Ill be with you in a bit I have to go help this man and points to the opposite direction... I just walked out and she tried to stop me... I had a fussy baby from having to wait so long and it made that 45 minute wait pointless... Went across the store to Helzberg and got the perfect ring for a perfect woman... YOUR LOSS ZALES!

I got my wedding band and engagment ring soldered together and hated it but was only 3 weeks away Raquel and Seth worked so hard to make it happen intime and it did! I got it the day before my wedding and I am so grateful for their hardwork and accepting my calls every day to check on my ring lol!

I dont even know where to begin with this. My husband and I dropped my ring off May 21st to get it soldered together. The lady told us it would be 2 weeks. She told us it never took that long but they had to tell people at least 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I called and asked if it was ready and they told me no that it wouldnt be ready till June 4th. The saleslady didnt know why I was told 2 weeks because it was going to be at least 3. So 3 weeks later I get a call saying my ring is ready. So we made a special trip to Lubbock to pick it up however when we got there the lady noticed it hadnt been soldered together and it would be a couple days before they could get it back to me. So I get a call 4 days later saying it was ready - AGAIN. I had the lady check to make sure it had been soldered together because I didnt want to make another special trip out there. She reassured me that it was soldered together and ready for pick up. So I made another special trip out there to pick it. First off, they wanted to charge me a rush fee for them having to send it back to get it soldered because they didnt do it the first time. I explained what happened and they took off the rush fee. However when the lady handed me back my ring I noticed it was way too big. It was falling off my finger as to where it fit perfectly fine before we dropped it off. The lady told me they had sized it up to a 7 3/4. And I just cant understand why it was sized. NEVER did we mention anything about wanting it to be sized. It fit perfectly fine before we dropped it off so why would we size it up?? Not only that but the manager wanted to just give me some sizers until I wanted to bring it back for them to fix it. And I said no, it was their mistake I want this done ASAP. So 4 hours after that I get a call say my ring was once AGAIN ready. To my surprise it was actually soldered together and the right size. I just cant understand how we had to go through so much just for them to sauter them together. You had one job! If I never step foot into this Zales it will be too soon!

Takes forever to get your refund if you return item, and local store will not answer the phone you have to call repeatly and they have an excuse that they are so busy, yet when you go in the store there are no customers. Stop with the excuses amd process the refunds it only takes them a min. to get your money but a month to process a return? Bad service and pressure sales with inflated prices and they constantly mark up their items and call it a sale, purchased a necklace one month ago and the same necklace is now $266,00 more today what a rip off.
