I have used Lone Star Learning for over 15 years at the 4-5-6 math level. It is a great program which allows my students to maintain math skills through constant spiraling and review. I highly recommend it!

Lone Star Learning Target Practice has been very beneficial in my students mathematical learning. The spiral review hits on previously learned concepts and takes them deeper with it. The concepts that haven’t been introduced yet provided a great preview & basis for when we did get to that concept in our curriculum. The students were much more prepared for it & grasped the concepts more quickly and with deeper understanding. The students knew that was the first thing we did every day & it only took about 10-15 minutes. It is /was definitely time well spent!As a virtual teacher, I had a materials pick up for parents to pick up a folder with all of the answer documents in it. I show it on my screen & they work it out in the folders, the we go over it together.

I love LoneStar Learning! I use their Target Practice for warm-ups and Target the Question in small group. The Target Practice gives a great spiral throughout the year. I can pre-teach some concepts so they are familiar by time we get the regular lesson. The Target the Question has STAAR type questions that can be used in a fun activities. Any product they put out is top notch!

I was introduced to Lone Star Learning Words of the Day after teaching writing for many years. This product improved my classes and my students’ writing tenfold! Products from Lone Star Learning were purchased from our middle school students and teachers. The teachers were impressed with the quality of the visual Math and Science Vocabulary Cards that help explain concepts to the students. Another great product being used at our school is TEKSas Target Practice. This product is a great review of concepts being spiraled throughout the year. If you have an opportunity, take a look at these products. It is money well spent!

This is by far the best digital program that I have seen. It engages the kids and makes them think about their answer and why the answer they choose is the best. I use this as a bell ringer and the kids know to sit down and start working. It also makes the kids pick out the right information for that days question, which I like because almost all the test questions are like this. I love this program.

I have been using Lone Star Learning materials since around 1996 - 97. The resources are just what every teacher needs. The spiral review with the Target Practice is thorough and students love it. The problem solving is also great. Students are challenged with both of these resources. I also used the vocabulary cards when I was in the classroom. Students need the visuals and it works. When students look over to a blank space and you ask, What are you look for? and the student answers, This problem is like Green A (Target Practice) and Im thinking about the strategy to solve it. You know that there is gold when students begin to make the connections and try to retrieve the information learned. Excellent resources!!!

Lone Star Learning provides an amazing spiral math review! Every 2 weeks my students receive every skill they need to be successful in third grade math, as well as, performance on the STAAR test. Its rigorous, provides the necessary content vocabulary, and my students cant wait to see what the next days color might bring! I wish that it was somehow interactive within an online platform such as google classroom to be able to use it in times like these! Who wouldve thought we would be in this boat. There are some awesome things on Lone Star, but with copyright restrictions we are limited and unfortunately cannot use their good stuff!

Lone Star Learning has amazing products that make everyones life easier, whether it be the instructor, the student, the parent, or just whomever may be around to help out! With them being in the education business for so long, they have perfected the teaching experience in a fun and innovative way! Kudos to these ladies!

During the regular school year, I used the 5th Grade Story, Daily questions for Reading, and the ELA daily Think sheets for editing sentences, etc.. The rigor is great and my class worked the open-ended Reading questions and the multiple choice questions daily. I recommend this program!

It definitely challenges the students! I like that they see this throughout the whole year so when we get ready to cover TEKS in depth then they have already seen glimpse of this on Lone Star math. Now that we are a virtual classroom it would be nice to find away for students to use it in google classroom so they are not losing knowledge to the TEKS.

I with this could be used during this time in distant learning. The kids need to continue to have this review more now than ever before. So for this year, it not that helpful for me.

Love the Math and ELA Daily Review products! They have brought up my students MAP scores, by spiral reviewing all of the TEKs.

I use the Reading and Math platform daily to review previous year, learn, and reteach our third grade level TEKS starting the first week of school. The students love learning with the colorful math and reading visuals given. This learning platform strengthens knowledge and when the students tell me We learned that on our Math TEK Board, I know it is truly effective!
