They did an excellent job on a hat I brought in to be embroidered as a gift to my Dad. It was exactly how I wanted it done in a very short time. They were very nice, and helpful. This is the second hat I have done by them. Exceptional work was done on both hats.
There was honestly no reason to even give them the one star. Aside from poor customer service and complete disrespect, this company has no structure when it comes to actually producing good products. I asked for shirts with a specific logo and they said that each shirt would cost $13 before the design and $32 after- which I agreed to. After paying half up front, they told me the design was too difficult and that they couldnt do it. I tried to send a simpler design but, to be completely honest, their work was not very good. Nevertheless, I was fine if it had to be done with lack of detail and agreed to their production of course assuming there would be a price change. There was not. They were rude on the phone, they were cheaters of my money, and they wasted my time. I want my money back. Thats it. This honestly wasnt worth all of this trouble. Dont use this business.
Great place. Just annoying that no matter what size you want embroidered it takes 2 weeks.
During the fitting no one said that alterations would be extra much less take longer. They order from a manufacturer and dont do alterations in house. It also took longer than promised to get the uniform.

I wish I could give them 7 Stars. I wont go to anyone else! Cathy was so helpful and was totally willing to let me be a pain in the neck until I thought that everything was looking right. They also have a really fantastic range of products to help me make my brand look professional. I have gotten hats, jackets and shirts embroidered with them and now I am waiting for an order of t-shirts and hoodies. Thanks ladies!

I recently used Designs In Thread to get one collared shirt embroidered. My employer recently had some hats done and they turned out okay so I decided to stick with them to keep business local. After several weeks I called to check on the progress and was told We have your number, we will call when its finished. I was also informed that two weeks is the average turn around on one shirt. The logo is very simple and I even offered to leave one of my already embroidered shirts so they could have an exact replica. To which they said no. Well, after another two weeks (total 4 now) I got a phone call saying it was finished. Not only was the logo wrong, the color thread was no where near correct. They did apologize and we all agreed to try again. This time I INSISTED they keep my other shirt so they have an EXACT copy of what I wanted done. They assured me all they need was an iPhone picture which the lady took half heartedly before disappearing into the back. After another two weeks I got to pick up my shirt, the color was correct, the logo was not. I swallowed my pride and decided Id rather pay anyone else to start over than to go back. I hope this was just a fluke and that others have a better experience.
Designs and thread is such a clean store and the staff are all very friendly and their service is phenomenal!

The manager of this place is hurting the business. Every time they do something for me they charge a set up fee of $25. They have everything on file and have done many items but the manager keeps trying to slip in these fees. Today they hit me with a $50. When I complained the manager reluctantly removed it and said she would charge it to the poor girl working the front counter. The owner is a nice lady, but needs to pay attention to the managers tricks.
I ordered shirts 6 weeks ago through my employer, maybe the pandemic has something to do with it but no shirts and not a single email or message saying anything about when it might be done. some type of message would be nice.
I had recently ordered some hats from them and the hats were wrong and did not look good. so I had text the employee that had ordered them for me that I was working with the whole time and let her know what I thought about the hats. She didnt answer so I drove back up there with them and took them in and showed her what I didnt like about them and would like to get them fixed. She said she would have to talk to a manger since I had already payed for them. So she came back out and told me that they would just redo them at no charge and get me some new ones. I had the box of the hats that were wrong and she said she just needs one of them and that the others they would just throw away, if I would like to keep them. So I did agree and take them with me. A month went by and I never heard anything back from them. so I called and asked about the hats and they didnt know what was going on so I explained them the whole story and they said they would have to call me back. I got a call back and they said that employee no longer works there so since they didnt know anything about it that they could not honor that deal. That if I brought the other hats back in new condition they would give me my money back. But I was told to keep them so I gave them away. I explained YOUR hired employee at the time told me to keep them that yal would remake me some at no cost. They said she shouldnt of said that but since she dont work there they cant verify it so all their willing to do is give me couple dollars off some new hats but would still have to pay for some more. I said she worked there at the time I ordered and she worked there when I took them back cause they were embroidered wrong. They just explained again they couldnt do nothing about that past employee of theirs and they couldnt help me out. Mind you I have taken all of my business there and spent thousands of dollars with them. I have referred 2 other companys there that now use them for all their business. All I was asking for was 10 hats to get redone and they wouldnt do that for me at all. Would not recommend using them cause an employee could tell you one thing but the owner cause choose if she wants to honor it.

They take long for the orders and some things are just over priced.I had to get monogrammed gym shorts for shool and when we tried ordering them they said they were out so we ordered them again in september and didnt get them till the middle of november.Also in May I ordered a plaid skirt from them online again for school and still havent gotten any notifications about it being even almost ready.It is now July and I know Im probably going to go to school having to wear the old skirt I had instead of the plaid one that my school wants us to wear.
