I really enjoy taking my son in here. Hes 6 and absolutely loves coming here to pick out special rocks for people he cares about. The ladies are always so friendly to him and genuinely care about showing him things they think he will like. I love that they explain what all the different stones and crystals are to him and it just adds so much to our experience. We also like to find treasures, like dream catchers and Buddhas. We are always greeted with I smile. Highly recommend!
Let me just start by saying Im a former employee and worked at the previous location. Im not bashing the new place, but there are truly some hurt feeling there.I thought it odd that no one had left a review here yet. People need to discover this little place in Lubbock.I decided to stop in and grab some incense and stones for a friend. The new store is beautiful, fresh, and still smells good. I have the feeling that the owners are have captured more of the feeling they were after in this store than the old. More - refined. The staff is kind and giving - wonderful gentle folks. They didnt know who I was, so I gently tested them on a couple of knowledge things - and thats where they fell a little short. They certainly worked toward an answer, but I could tell it wasnt their thing. There are still books on the worlds religions, but some of the more controversial beliefs are a bit hidden now. There are far fewer pagan and wicca items in stock, and more crosses and angels. Nothing wrong with that, just a different choice for a different clientele.I still point seekers toward the Odyssey - which oddly is itself on a journey of self-discovery.tldr: Its different but good. Not for all, but for some. And maybe thats how it needs to be. Check the website or go by - youll find something interesting waiting for you.
