I will never gone anywhere else for any muffler job. I had a little rattle in my muffler, so I asked if they could take a look at it. Im not exaggerating when I say they had the car lifted and diagnosed within 35 seconds. It was a mount that needed to be bent back. Without chargine they bent it back and I was on my way. I wanted to give them some business for their trouble and quality custom service. I ended up getting a tip put on, and they did a great job. Super quality work with a great price!

Quoted me a decent price, got me right in & had me out the door in 30 min. I had a muffler delete done on my Lexus. Thats good business. I will definitely go back if i need any exhaust work done.

Cant really rate this place cause I didnt go there cause they dont make appointments. Because my time is as valuable as theirs and I would have been a paying customer. Their first come first served policy doesnt appeal to me.

Somebody tried stealing the catalytic converters off our delivery truck. A & B Muffler had the 3 cuts welded up in less than an hour at a great price. Truck was only out of service for 1 hour!

Outstanding service! I went in for a quote on a exhaust job, and their prices for service were really reasonable. I ended up chosing them to actually do the work on my car and the techs were very helpful and fun to work with. The job was done in under an hour as well. The owner was also extremely nice, overall I would recommend this shop for any exhaust work!

Joe, the owner, does not distribute or sell certain makes of exhausts, so in my case I purchased an aftermarket Borla ATAK side exhaust for my 2017 F150 2.7 liter. I call Joe and ask if he would be willing to install my new exhaust even though its a model he doesnt carry. Joe says Ill do it for $200 Mike .If you think about it, its like me walking into a restaurant with a steak and asking them to cook it for me, and let me sit down and eat it and just pay for that part of it. Thats the kind of person youll be dealing with. I took my truck down there with the new exhaust and they had the stock unit off and the new unit on in 45 minutes, and charged $175 instead of $200, and this is how A & B has been rolling since the 80s. Its not where you can get the service done, its who does the service and how they do it.

This has to be the best muffler shop in town. Admittedly, I’ve never been anywhere else. But I never will - these guys are as nice, personal, and informal as it gets. Fast turnaround times, quality work, reasonable prices - 5 stars without question.

I have taken both my vehicles to this shop and let me tell you they are very polite, well experienced and very reasonable! I wouldnt take anything of mine anywhere else. I highly recommend!!

I have a problem that I didnt have until they took the duels off.When I idol at the farm my water temperature goes to boiling!I changed my thermostat to a 185 degree last summer.Now if I idol for a few minutes and itll get hot and I have to idol on the farm and Ill go back and ask why thats happening when I idoled 3 hours yesterday and it was just as hot and it Never got over 185 degrees.Hopefully they can explain why it happened right after they did the work?

Fantastic place! I love the history of the shop, its obviously been cared for and the staff are friendly. They are real craftsmen and did a great job on my 1976 Bronco, Ill be taking my pickup in soon for their same great work. Highly recommend!

My new go-to muffler shop in Lubbock. Joe (the manager) was very knowledgeable and helped me decide the best setup for my new exhaust. Pricing is fair. Not the cheapest in Lbk but still competitive given their craftsmanship. To my surprise I was in and out in 30 minutes, given the quality work. Would definitely recommend for all your exhaust/ other car needs.

I have an old, rusty car from Michigan that got an exhaust leak on a drive to Austin last weekend (I believe the main exhaust pipe just rusted through in one spot) and it sounded like I was driving a big moped for a few days. These guys were able to cut the rusty piece off and replace it in about 40 mins, and for a much lower cost than I was expecting! Im moving again next month, so hopefully I wont need to take my car in again while Im here, but if I was staying longer and needed it, I would definitely go to these guys again.

These guys were amazing! I had a metal plate come unattached on the bottom of the car that was dragging, I was hoping to be able to pay a small fee and get it reattached. I brought my car here and these guys took it in immediately, reattached it, and had me ready to go in under ten minutes. They also did not to charge me AT ALL for this. I will definitely be coming back here! Super nice, extremely helpful, and fast.

The reason I came back was because I was told a price which was super and recommended it to family which did in return buy into the product. I returned to take advantag of the service. But after they finished it was not to my satisfaction or even what we spoke about. I was told by Joe it would be another $125 to get it the way I wanted. When I asked Joe why the difference in price he said thats what it is. But the reason I came back later was because Bobby said the $275 was an everyday deal. As I expressed my frustration with Joe he said I would still have to pay the difference minus $25. Although I appreciate him giving me $25 off but its an insult to the business and to me to give one price and charges more after the job has been completed. Yes I got my muffler done here and was not happy at all!. I would not recommend or reffer not one other person here ever again.

I took my truck there because I have stopped by other places that were to busy or the work I wanted done was going to take longer and they would be closing soon. I stopped by that morning and they immediately pulled the truck in. The work was great and my truck looks great. The pulled me into the shop to show me what they were going to do and I was more impressed by the cleanliness of the shop. That alone spoke for the business itself. Great Place!!

I never let anyone else work on my car, but I was in Lubbock for the summer for an internship without access to my garage. I needed some exhaust work done and after reading the reviews decided on A & B. These guys hands down have the best business in Lubbock. Even with no appointment, they got my car on the lift, old exhaust off, and new exhaust welded on within the hour. I specified what I was looking for and they absolutely followed through.I even asked them if they would keep the old exhaust for me, and they went above and beyond by not only putting it in the car, but also wrapping it back up in some spare cardboard they had. Top notch people.

My elderly father took his car there today for a rattle in the exhaust. He was treated very well by the staff. He has used this shop several times before and has ALWAYS been treated well. Went in to get work done on my JAGUAR and I get battery and alternator system failures as soon as I leave! I asked him if he disconnected the battery when they welded on my new pipes and he says “no, it’s a myth that welding can damage a cars electronics.. I’ve been doing this for 30 years and have never dosconnected batteries”Joe tells me it was a coincidence and I am responsible for the issues not his shop!Exhaust looks good.Welds look goodBroken jaguar.. not good.They seem to have good reviews so I might be one of the few that got screwed but I wouldn’t recommend them based off my experience.

Brought my truck in to have some exhaust modifications done just a few days ago. Ive taken a total of 4 of my vehicles to this shop and theyve done an amazing job every time. Doing exactly what Ive asked for at a very reasonable price point. I wont say theyre the cheapest in town, but theyre definitely the best value. I have never left there thinking I spent too much money for what I had done. The waiting area is also really nice and clean, it looks like it has recently been updated with new tile, fresh paint and decor, its either that or they keep the place ultra clean. The management seems to be top notch and all of the workers there seem very knowledgeable and skilled because Ive rarely waited longer than 20 minutes from start to driving off with the fix or modification I needed. I will continue to be a patron here whenever Im in town and need work done.

Knocked a exhaust hanger off on my gto called up to see if they had time to weld it back up for me walked in handed them the keys car was on the lift in less than 5 mins and I was out the door in less than 15. To top it all off they didnt even charge me to do it. Will definitely be returning for a full exhaust on my other car when its ready.

Great Customer Service.My muffler had hit a pavement and had been pushed up. They hoisted my car, pulled it down and I was good to go. They were kind enough not to charge me anything for their help.Ill definitely consider them first if I have a problem again.

I fixed an exhaust leak here for my 2001 corolla, the estimated labor cost was 165, but when i get my car, they said that the fix was easier than expected, so they only charged me for 85 bucks. Now thats what i called honesty. I am so satisfied with their service, would definitely recommend the shop to my friends.

Had an exhaust leak and my pathfinder wouldnt pass inspection. Pulled into A & B. They imediately put my SUV on a lift, replaced the bad spot with new pipe and I was out of there in about 15 minutes. I was very pleased with the work done, the speed of the work done, and the price.

Got new flowmasters put on yesterday. The guys where very help and professional. The shop was super clean. They where very reasonable on price and only took 30 to 45 minutes on my pickup. Would highly recommend them.

I went in today and got Flowmaster 40 Series Exhaust with Dual Chrome Tailpipes installed on my 2013 Ford F-150. I cant say enough good things about my experience!! I had called to get a quote before I decided to go through with it and Joe was very polite over the phone. My expectations were exceeded when I actually went in to the shop. Joe took the time to help me understand exactly what would be done to my truck and also helped me pick out the tailpipes. Needless to say, I am EXTREMELY happy with the outcome. My truck sounds amazing and I only paid around $352 for everything. I will definitely be recommending A&B to everyone I know!!

BEWARE these are not honest people . They gave me a price on changing a manifold saying it would take 3 plus hours . I was there the whole time and it took only 2 hours and they still charged me 350.00. Not a place I would recommend .

Thought my sons car had an exhaust pipe loose, took it to these guys who put it on a lift and found a rock wedged between a pipe and the car frame which was causing a vibration. Fixed in minutes and would not charge me.Thanks guys!

I had a muffler break a few days ago. Yesterday I toke my car in, they toke one look at it and for just $25 had the problem fixed with no hassle. These guys are the best in Lubbock.

Just purchased a new GMC and the sound of the factory exhaust was not good. Not being from lubbock i opted to go with online reviews to guide me to a muffler shop.These guys were great ! Removed factory installed a Flowmaster then custom bent pipes to replace the single side exit with dual chrome tipped pipes exiting straight out the under the bumper. Did this all in less than an hour. Looks exactly like i wanted and sounds GREAT!!

Had called this morning (~8:00) and asked about getting Flowmaster Super40s on my 2010 Supercrew F150. Was told no appointment was necessary and to just swing by. I did so, was told it would only take half an hour once on the block. And it did! Joe is ridiculously polite and a joy to deal with. Best Muffler shop in the entire LBK. No doubt.

This guy is an egotistical jerk. He will overprice anyone he can. Also does poor work as well. I had to fix their screw up myself. I will never go back there. Unfortunately every place in Lubbock is like this.

Bought a new catback exhuast and searched around and decided to choose this place because of the ratings. The workers were super nice and gave me a great quote to install it. Prior to having the exhuast installed i opened the box and inspected all of the parts, there was a small dent in one of the exhaust tips from shipping. The team while installing also noticed this and notified me which to me means they care about the work they do and care about the customers product. I dont know if another shop would have cared enough to let me know because it was so small that i hardly noticed when i initially inspected it. I would highly recommend this shop, the install for a catback exhaust took less than 30 min and the customer service is excellent. Also the install was superb, no issues, and no exhuast leaks.
