Courteous, knowledgable staff great fabric selections

I love this store! I do cake decorating with fondant and detailed embroidery. Joanns has all the delightful little things I need for both! I never leave with just what I came in for. Theres always some new trinket that I must have!!

JoAnns has been and always will be a great place to find crafts and fabrics. I mostly go here for things like diamond painting, acrylic painting, foam, clearance crafts, and whatever cool things I find wandering the aisles. The staff is generally knowledgeable and ready to help. Overall its a great, niche place.

Always need help choosing yarn for knitting. My directions for the weight and grams and mil are never what I need in the same skein. Helpful clerk worked it out with me. Couldn be more thankful for her help. Thanks!

Wasnt crowded and the staff were very courteous. Didnt have everything we were looking for. We wanted to get some stamped cross stitch kits but they only had a few counted cross stitch kits. Like everywhere else the prices seemed a lot higher.

They dont sell rugs but I was able to make it work with a piece of fabric

You get 4 stars for service, but it went down to 3 because you were trying to sell a used sewing machine as new. Because of the good service I wont post the picture of the state in which we found the machine, but make sure your employees check what they are selling. People make sure you check before you buy anything there, they charge for returning product.

The store is usually quiet but very neat and clean. I was welcomed into the store by the cashier who didnt bother looking up from her phone from the register. I am usually able to find what Im looking for with ease because of the organized aisle and how well stocked they are.

So many things to see and buy but they are very.pricey

A good store for crafts. Sadly there as arent many options left where you can go and see things. This store lets me get some inspiration just by walking around. Its in a good location and clean.They have knowledgeable staff.

Went here late, one night with my kids. They were close to closing but they didnt rush me. They were very nice and helped me with my list of materials for a pattern I was going to use. They were very sweet and knowledgeable. They had a nice selection of fabrics, although they did not carry Art Gallery fabric, and fashionable knits I was searching for. Otherwise, it was good. I would visit them again.

My favorite joanns, the staff is helpful and friendly, theirs a great selection of fabric and accessories to pick from. Their bathroom seems to be out of service more often than not, but other than that its a great store. The staff knows their products and can offer a wealth of knowledge for your craft project.

They have a very nice craft section... Paints, jewelry making, candy making... It is difficult to imagine that they wouldnt have what you needed for your particular hobby. Plus you used to be able to join their mailing list and get advance notice of sales, coupons, etc.

I needed material for a project. I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised by the great store! Was so clean and the staff was so helpful. I went back a couple of days later for a few more things. I will be using this store frequently! Amazing sales people!

Thought the prices of beads were a little high and wish they had more high end material. Had to wait to be checked out. Store was clean and tidy

The service was perfect at Jo-Anns in Ludlow as always however when I tried to bring up my coupons on my phone it was not working and I was told that some other person had issues also so I couldnt get any discounts which is pretty disappointing when it should be readily available to you nor do they carry the flyer in the store for you to compensate when something like that happens.

If you love sewing or crafting, Joanns should become your store. I just went in for a zipper and thread, came out with much more. All the Halloween items are marked down. Stock up for next year!

Helpful staff and a great variety of crafting products available here! I was able to find exactly what I needed easily and received staff assistance with my fabric cutting quickly.

It was a quick stop. I picked up yarn for a baby blanket I plan to make this weekend. Cashier (Sha?), was most helpful, and pleasant:-)

The store itself is fine, the staff didnt really know their inventory, or much of anything in the store. Staff wasnt helpful, they were nice, but again didnt seem like they knew what they were doing. Im not sure if its just that they didnt have the proper training, or if they just dont care about their jobs.

The staff was great I was looking for a specific item and 2 different staff members helped me look.

Great selection, but a little pricey depending on the item. Staff is a little quiet, but always willing to help when asked.Just my personal observation: this Joanns location seems to have a wider yarn, jewelry-making, and floral selection than the Enfield location. Fabrics and everything sewing seems to have more of a selection in Enfield.

Since JOANN Fabrics and Crafts does not have a central Headquarters location to write a complaint to online for the public to see, I will post to as many JOANNs locations as I can.I placed an online order for three 16 oz Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn. It was about two weeks ago. Because I live in a remote location and it is very inconvenient for me to drive to a store I chose the online order. Besides, I do not enjoy driving at all.The order arrived about a week later. What a joy! I thought when I saw the big box with a yellow tape, with white JOANNs letters. NOT. In the box were two skeins only and one - without a label and short by two oz. (2 oz.). That is ridiculous!I paid for three full skeins of 16 oz each, not for two skeins, one of 16 oz and one of 14 oz. This is called stealing.Then, a few days later, I got an email that the third skein will arrive Today. Meanwhile, I am thinking Will it also be short a couple of ounces? Will I have to make a trip to an inconveniently located, distant JOANNs store? What a DRAG!Next time I will make sure to order directly from the source, not from a poor quality retailer.RL

Walmart has cheaper product. Although they have a very large selection the prices are extremely high. Would recommend checking Walmart first and only coming here if they don’t have what you need. Overall decent experience.

Ive been shopping at Joanns for years in all the crafting areas. They are quintessential to the local crafter. I especially like their yarn and sewing supplies but everything there is great!

Everything is originaly over priced and then on sale i would prefer straight pricing

I found a nice little corner to smoke cracked in and I slept in the store overnight many times, never had a problem! Employees are great manager rules! I recommend it

I had a Horrible experience there, the young girls were nice and helpful but there was this older woman who did not answer my question and yes her attitude Oh my gosh so rude, she actually said I DO NOT KNOW!!!! when I asked about where could I find certain product. Such a shame the store sure is nice and well kept and the other girls were nice and tried to help but that other woman.. I will not be going back to that store.

The store is clean, usually decently organized. The employees are personable and very ready to offer assistance as needed.

Joanns is ok. I find them to be pricey unless you have coupons at times, but the fabric selections are wonderful! The staff isnt as friendly as Michaels so I only go when I need fabric now. And thats if I cant find what Im looking for at smaller fabric stores. If the staff was more outgoing or even alive I would spend more $ there.

They have a lot of choices. A little of several types of craft. They used to have more scrapbooking materials, not it is more of a sampling. Between Joann Fabrics and Michaels craft store, you would have a complete craft supply store. JoAnns has Fabric which Michaels generally does not. Michaels has more scrapbooking and paint supplies.

The sales are great. The coupons are better! Location is convenient.
