The staff was friendly and very helpful. They were quick to assist to find me the perfect glasses and get me all the discounts possible. I was very happy with my experience at Target Optical.

Best experience ever. I left Lenscrafters in Brandon very disappointed and went straight to this Target Optical on a recommendation. I am very glad that I did. My optician was Pilar, and she was outstanding. She took the time that she needed to get the progression on my lenses right, laid out many different options (with no pressure), suggested that i take a few samples outside of the store to test in sunlight, and even adjusted my order over the phone when I changed my mind on one of my options. Professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I will go nowhere else.

Never seems to get my prescriptions quiet right

I have usually had a pleasant experience when I lived here 5 years ago and I just recently moved back. But upon having a conversation on the phone about filling a prescription from my previous ophthalmologist, I found the person on the phone was a smart-allic.Some tips for the company: instead of assuming someone doesn’t have their prescription or turning them away from your services ASK and then let them know you’ll just need a copy of the prescription to fill it (like I had) and offer suggestions for how you can work WITH the customers situation.Perhaps he just had a dry personality or a bad morning, but customer service is SO important and made me want to seek other and places.

I have been going to a “boutique” eye doctor for many years. I did not feel my eye needs were being met at the larger chains. I started to find the selection of glasses at the boutique office was becoming very limited and the cost way over my insurance plan allowance. So this year I had my exam at my regular office and found out that Target accepts my vision plan. I decided to go to Target to get my glasses.I was very pleased with the selection of frames! I had a few picked out and sat with Paul to try them on. Paul was not only very knowledgeable, he was helpful in showing me other options that I had not noticed. Paul was patient and so helpful in making my frame choice. He took his time when it came to my lens options and never once pressured me into more expensive options. He listened to what my wants and needs were and I ended up with a frame he choose for me.When I went to pick them up, Pilar assisted me. She was just as helpful and patient as Paul and i felt that they both truly love what they do and care for their clients!! I will continue to ise Target Optical and next year have my eye exam there as well!I LOVE MY NEW GLASSES!

What a great optical shop in our area. Dr. Vo gives a great and patient eye exam. Stellios spent time with me and my husband to make sure we had the best eyewear fit and gave us his all today. We are so appreciative of the whole experience. Thank you so much.

Great customer service! Very attentive to all what we wanted for our daughter. And listen to her. She felt really comfortable. Much better than the Target optical in Wesley chapel. They also have a great selection. . They have become the number one place we will go for our family needs in glasses.

Some of the worst customer service I think I’ve ever gotten. They failed to inform me where they were located. I spent 10 minutes on the phone asking if they were in target and the person on the phone took 10 minutes to redirect me somewhere else and then finally say “we are in target” where I had already been before calling to ask. I had an appointment and for some reason was waiting for 20 minutes despite being on time. Absolutely terrible service. I honestly almost cancelled and left to get my exam at the mall.

Employees are not helpful at all.Edit: I originally gave one star because I was upset about a package of lenses which I had some trouble with the post office for delivery. Pilar, one of the workers, sent a new expedited box to me with temporary extras which I found incredibly helpful. Thank you for your consideration Pilar, good customer service is what matters in the end.

The doctor is very knowlegdeable, professional and friendly. I went there for my annual checkup but had some concerns. He gave me a thorough examination and listened to me intently. He was very polite and caring. He put my concerns to rest and I left their feeling very happy. The store staff were also very helpful in picking out my frames and their prices were great. Thank you!

I’ve had glasses for about 5/6 years and I’ve never ever had a problem. They say your glasses will come in about 10 days but they always come in 7. 6 days ago was the seven day mark. We had to go in because it had been 10 whole days and they still weren’t even “shipped”. The lady in there was very defensive about everything and barely spoke any English. She said they would be in today and they are still not here! Pretty disappointed

Poor customer service. They really make you feel uncomfortable in asking questions. No courtesy. I would not refer this target opticals to anyone. The lady there would not care how you feel about the glasses. My daughter felt a little irritation after she wore the replacement lenses. when i asked about that, the lady there did not really care and all she said was, we used the same prescription as before and I DONT KNOW WHY SHE (my daughter) IS FEELING the irritation. I have been to target opticals in westchase and they are super nice. Do not go here.

Dr. Vo did my eye exam and was very knowledgeable and attentive. He walked me through the whole exam and took his time to answer all my questions. I would recommend this dr

Ive been to Dr. Vo for two years now and I can say hes by far the most attentive optometrist Ive ever seen. He was very professional and took his time with me at every visit. Im a terrible patient when it comes to over-wearing my contacts. I know its bad and Ive been told in the past by previous optometrists that its bad to do so and just to not do it. However, with Dr. Vo he explained, both in words and with a visual, to me why its bad and what Im doing to my eyes if I keep doing what Im doing. I truly appreciate that he took the time and expressed genuine care for my well being.

The team member was very helpful at target optical. I came in without an appointment and they were able to fix my glasses very quickly. She was very friendly!!

Dr. Vo is simply the best. I drive well out of my way to come see him for my eye exams every year. Dr. Vo walks through the same exam you’re used to getting but offers information on what and why he is doing what he’s doing. His explanations are awesome because you walk out of your exam really feeling like you -understood- what was going on with your vision. The team at the optical center are wonderful to work with as well. They take time with you to make sure you’re really comfortable with your choices and decisions. They are truly a delight and worth the drive!

I loved my experience! Dr.Vo was very professional and his staff was very involved, and I did not have to wait. I also liked that I was able to get appointment the next day. Most optical places I called had a wait time of 2 months.

Honestly I wanted to do business here but its unbelievable that you ignore phone calls! I have tried 8xs to get through to give you my business but no answer, not even a machine?! What if someone had an emergency or a serious question or issue with their eyes?

I would put zero stars if I could. After 20 years of using an optical store in Citrus Park, they relocated, we decided to give this Target a try. We called and found that they accepted our insurance fax our records faxed from the prior and associate to determine the cost of the visit and what was covered. The associate, Katja told us the cost of the exam would be the $20 co-pay. Thats all. However, we were charged an additional $100 for contact fitting this charge was not disclosed upfront. They became defensive and did not really care. Subsequently, were having difficulty getting them to respond to our requests to have the right prescription sent to another optical store.

Good price but horrible quality. I refused the extended warranty by mistake. My previous pair of lenses lasted over 2 years without a scratch. This pair hasnt lasted 6 months without a scratch. It is so disappointing.

Aweful experience. I made an appointment over the phone for 4pm, when I got there the lady had entered in all my information wrong and it took a very long time for her to correct it and check my insurance. I also waited an hour and was not seen at all. When I asked how much longer it would be the man couldnt give me an answer and said it was up to me if I wanted to leave. Very disrespectful of the clients time. Will never go back there.

While the assitants are friendly, the price was not explained well and they didnt seem to understand what my insurance covered. Additionally, it was going to take a week for the lenses to be ready and theyre a bit pushy about up selling items.

The new doctor and staff was very helpful I received both frames and contacts and service was great!

After taking my daughter to see an Ophthalmologist I made an appointment with Dr. Vo for him to prescribe a pair of glasses. Without any doubt I can say that the knowledge, attention, service and experience of Dr. Vo were FAR more helpful for my daughters well being than the Ophthalmologist that we consulted previously.I also became a patient of Dr. Vo and as I have been wearing contact lenses and glasses for over 20 years I am very pleased by Dr. Vo professionalism and courtesy. I highly recommend him and the staff at Target Optical.

Dr Neil did a great job.

This is worse than buying a car. i dont have a pair of contacts left..the only way they can help me is if i buy 6 months worth. i said i only want 1 box and stelios says i cant give u a trial pair. i never asked for a free pair. find another eye doctor is who wants to help or even listen.

I drive 1 hour 15 mins from Crystal River twice a year to this location because of Dr Vo and staff.
