This is a tremendous store (that Ill continue going to) with one MAJOR exception : the old guy in the front. Its unfortunate to say but if you see him there, walk out the door and go back when sometime else is there.

Horrible horrible horrible service. The older man in the front was so rude and didn’t want to get up and help me. Was annoyed I was even there to buy something. Worst customer service I’ve been around in a long time. And the best part, he was the owner. The guy in the back who came out to help him was nice. So a little advice: get the old grumpy owner out of the front of your store. Was going to send about 6 people here for business. Definitely not now. Way to go Mr. I own a store and hate customers!!

The man who help me was very nice. I need to I need to get a piece for school and I reserved it and the man was very happy to leave the store open for a bit longer to help me

Very pleasant shop, intimate in spite of its size. Eric was extremely kind when we came in to get my little nephews guitar attended to -- &, on top of it, refrained from charging us. Makes me feel grateful that there are still non-chain brick-&-mortar stores among us.

Great classic music shop. Nice selection of sheet music, instruments and accesories. Paul was super accommodating as was everyone else. Happy to shop at a local small business.

I was playing a gig near by when I realized I had forgotten my speaker cables. The two guys working that day went above and beyond to help me. As I was in a tight spot, they could have taken advantage but they did not. They sold me a great pair of cables (better than what I had) for a very fair price. If you know me, I do not give praise lightly. I highly recommend this music store.

I have bought Disney Songs for Singers 45 Classics and may I say it is quite well. But I have had trouble with some things, like if the store has a website. If it does please comment for me the website name, if Universal Musical Instrument does not have a website Id recommend one. For those who cant always come to the store can at least see what you have in stock. Also an E-mail if possible.

Helpful and did a restringing job at a very reasonable price. Had to follow up on pick up as was not notified when guitar was ready, buy otherwise excellent and highly recommended.

We rent all of our instruments through Universal. They always come through with our NYSSMA music pieces and they are quick to fix our instruments if there is a need to do so.
