I am very pleased whenever I go to this store! I have been multiple times with different repairs. The first was for a replacement zipper on the purse. I asked if it could be replaced without the zipper pulley so I could put my own on. I was told yes, but was given a fixed zipper with pulley, which was fine, as long a the zipper was fixed. This was about a $25 fix. I’ve also been to get UGG/EMU Australia boots cleaned and refurbished. They did a great job and boots smell and look wonderful! They were also sprayed with a waterproof spray which I definitely needed. Because I brought in 5 pairs, each was around $20. If 4 pairs, each would be around $25. And based on another review, if 1 pair, I am assuming it is $35 for cleaning. In my opinion, these are reasonable prices for services rendered. I’ll continue to drive out to this location as I haven’t found anything decent closer. They are worth the drive!

I took a pair of my boots there to get cleaned. They did a horrible job...the boots were a light beige when I took them there. I went to pick them up and they looked worst than they did when I brought them there they werent light beige anymore. They had a film over them that took the nice color away and were totally dingy looking.

Polite both on the phone and at their store. Have suggestions; and that’s why I keep going back.

Terrible service. I had to return 5 times for my shoes bc they were not ready, or they could not find them, or the store was closed for the day. A side of being very expensive the owner is rude. I do not recommend this place.

I have taken a pair of Uggs here which where dirty and ripped from previous winter. I was able to wear them the next winter all winter long. They looked good.I recently took a pair of Jordan’s here. The shoes were completely covered in pink powered from our gender reveal. I mean the powder was bad ! These guys made the shoe look brand new.Neither time did I pay more than $35They have a loyal costumer with me.

Ive used their service so many times. Cleaning boots, repairing soles and jacket buttons. Theyve even resoled new thick tread to my boots for winter. Great service and amazing prices.

What a pleasant surprise to find a place like this. After calling several tailors and seamstresses that didnt even answer their phones, I stopped in here on a whim to do a modification to a bag I love. Not only were they willing to help, their prices were fair and were so friendly and warm. To top it off, the bag was ready the next day! I love the work done to the bag, its perfect and you can tell they take pride in their work. Highly recommended.

THEY SAID MY BAG WOULD BE READY ON SATURDAY AND WE CALLED THEM JUST TO FIND OUT IT WILL NOT BE READY UNTIL MONDAY SO I CAME TO THE STORE TODAY AND THE BAG WAS NOT THERE. THEY SAID THE BAG WAS IN ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES TRUNKS AND THEY WOULD BRING IT TO US IN 15 MINUTES. WE ENDES UP WAITING ABOUT 25 MINUTES UNTIL MU BAG FINALLY GOT THERE. THE BAG WAS NOT EVEN FIXED VERY WELL AS I ORIGINALLY HAD A TWO WAY ZIPPER AMD THIS WAS ONLY ONE WAY. THAT IS NOT A BIG PROBLEM THO. OTHERWISE, THIS IS A TERRIBLE SYSTEM THAT I CANNOT BELIEVE ANY STORE WOULD USE.

They do an excellent job repairing shoes I had a pair of shoes I wore it was about 4 years old and the Soul crumbled up the owner did an excellent job on my shoes is like a brand new pair of shoes it cost a little bit of money but it didnt matter to me how much it cost because I love those shoes and I had a purse to go with them took him about 2 months to get my shoes together almost 6 months because he was having problems but when he got them done there was ready for me to walk in them excellent they do great work

I had my cowboy boots done here. The job was beyond perfect. I thought that my boots were done for. Plus the price was reasonable. All in all I would highly recommend them.

Ive had several negative experiences at Lyndhurst Luggage. They are dishonest and unorganized. I strongly recommend finding another shoe & luggage repair.1. I brought a pair of heels in for a replacement. When I returned the next week, they charged me $34 for complete cleaning and heel replacement, even though I hadnt asked for it. I should have stood up for myself, but gave them the benefit of the doubt.2. Next, I brought in a suitcase for a wheel replacement. The woman told me it would be $35 and they would replace both the wheel and the surrounding casing. I never received a call that it was completed. After 1 1/2 weeks, I drove to the store and inquired about my suitcase. The young man there took my ticket and gave me my suitcase, then returned to the back of the store. Upon closer examination, I saw that only the wheel had been replaced, not the surrounding casing. I called back to ask, and a third woman came to the front of the store. She told me in order to replace the casing, it would cost an additional $10. I asked for the man--he came to the front again and told me that they replace the casing for free, but only if they have the part in stock, and they didnt have mine.So I heard THREE different pricing quotes from THREE different employees. When I asked if they could give me a written quote or price list for my next service, they skirted the question. I asked several times very directly, and they refused to agree to giving me a written price.I will NEVER be going there again. They do not conduct ethical business.

This is more than shoe repair--this is real craftsmanship! I needed a lift in one shoe due to leg length discrepancy. Carlos not only listened to my concerns, her also gave me good advice...try one pair first, hed help me work out any problems if they happened with that pair, then do other pairs. Well, there were no problems and I immediately felt the difference in my back from having both legs the same. The shoes look brand new and the lift seems like an integral part of the shoes design. He even matched both soles to keep the feel of the shoes the same. Needless to say, I am very happy and Ive already dropped off several more shoes to have them lifted, too! Carlos even asks for the unaltered shoe from each pair so he can polish both up to match. This is old-time pride of workmanship and true skill. Im recommending Lyndhurst Luggage and Shoe Repair to everyone who will listen!

Took my wifes purse in and it was repaired on the spot for under $10. The woman informed me that she could repair/replace my heels while I waited for $20 total. I came back when I had more time and had it done at the quoted price. Carlos did a super job. I highly recommend this shop!

I cannot rate or review the quality of the work done at this location because after having my luggage for 19 days and having physically gone to check on the status of the repairs, I was told today that the reality was that the replacement wheel that I was waiting on, had never been ordered because there was no way to find the type of wheel that I needed. 19 days! I am perplexed why I was not told that on day 1 or the second time that I came or the third time that I came. Service at its finest. NOT!

I took in my favorite knee high black dress boots. The heel was hanging off and there was a slit in the bottom of the foot pad. There was so much wear and tear, I was afraid they were not fixable. A week later they looked as good when I bought them three years ago. LL did a great job, the time frame to fix was reasonable, they told me the problem and cost up front. I would highly recommend them. Excellent craftsmanship.

Ive been searching off and on for a shoe repair shop for a couple of years. I have a pair of Frye boots that desperately needed new soles. Theyve been hanging in my closet for an embarrassing amount of time. I found Lyndhurst Luggage & Shoe Repair and dropped them off last Saturday. I went to pick them up today and couldnt be happier with the work that was done. My five year old boots look brand new! The price was very reasonable and the owner and his employees were fantastic! Ill definitely be going back whenever Im in need!

I recently took a pair of boots to be repaired. The zipper had broken and both heels were a disaster. I was only charged $23.00 and now my 8 yr. old leather boots look BRAND NEW!!! They even shined them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop! Superior workmanship & done when promised.

I was desperate to find a shoe repair establishment for my beloved and expensive Italian boots and then my cleaners suddenly started taking orders. I did not know who they were and what quality of work they did but I took a chance and WOW - they did a wonderful job. Just like in the old days....So rare to find quality nowadays ! They call you if they are not sure how you wanted it done. And their prices are really fair. If I could give zero stars, I would. Brought in my black Cardy Uggs for cleaning, repair of a small hole, and a new heel on one. PRE PAID IN FULL and left them on a Tuesday to pick up on Saturday. When I arrived on Saturday, I was told they hadnt been brushed or waterproofed yet. I waited while this was done. She put them in a bag and moved on to wait on the next person. I get the boots home and realize the heel that I paid for was never done. So I called, I was told to return them to the store and they would do the heel first thing Monday. Not great since I was planning to wear them Saturday night. I returned on Monday, before noon, and was told they would be ready on Tuesday. I already felt this was pretty outrageous, since the mistake was theirs - they should have fixed them before end of business on Monday - but I left the boots. When I returned on Tuesday at 5:30pm, more than 24 hours later, I was told they were on the top of the pile for the next day. NOPE. I asked for a refund and took my boots. Again, I paid up front, in full, and they had my boots for 5 days, then another 24 hours, and didnt do the job. Tonight, I went to put the boots on, and found that these idiots ripped out all the fur lining on the inside and apparently didnt replace it or put it back in. The heels are hard leather on skin. Basically, my $150 boots are now completely unwearable. This is the absolute worst service I have ever received. If you want anything you take there to come back to you in wearable shape, better make sure you pick another place, because this place will permanently damage your stuff.

I had bought a pair of Nike Superdome 3months ago,and they had start peeling away from the tip of the sole i was almost inclined to send them back to Nike when they told me the turnaround to get them back was a month😞😒 so i said i would take them to shoe repair place first well i tried one place he yook my shoes for three days and he couldnt do anything with them but leave a bad residue at the top of my boots ..and then there was Lyndhurst luggage and Shoe repair .Speechless absolutely my shoes look like they originally did and the price was very very affordable will definitely come back if i run into this issue again..keep up the great work

Mrs. Charles who runs the front of the shop is a joy to deal with. She has a beautiful accent which I could listen to all day if they werent so busy. And no surprise they are. Mr. Charles is a true old world craftsman and leathersmith. He took a very old pair of sandsls from the Holy land that i could not wear and transformed them into something akin to brand new. I will be going back for gifts too as he is a beautiful leather crafter. Use them and you wont be sorry

CCM vector 04 Goalie skates. Lace eye gourmets pulling out and shredding shoe laces. Left at LYNDHURST LUGGAGE & SHOE REPAIR for repair, told it would take two weeks. 4 weeks later, numerous phone calls and excuses and after waiting in shop for 90 minutes skates returned. Lace eye gourmets do not appear to be correct but cant prove it. First time skates worn all eye pull out causing laces to split and pull into leather boot. Returned to shop, refund given with apology. Stated at that time they did not have the tools or equipment to repair the skates correctly. I am now left with a $200 pair of goalie skates that are worthless. 12/2011 update Now telling BBB and OH state attorney generals office they repair all kinds of Hockey equipment and mine was just wore out, thats why the repairs didnt work. So they dont have the tools or equipment by their own admission but they repair the hockey equipment all the time?
