We had a fantastic experience here during the pandemic getting my mother fitted for new hearing aids. Lynn is a wonderful audiologist and came up with a solution for every road block we encountered during the process. Her followup via email is super fast and she even was able to modify some of my mothers hearing aid settings remotely which came in VERY handy during the pandemic. Highly recommend Lynn for her white glove service and great can do attitude!

This is my second set of hearing aids. My first audiologist was quite good. But Lynn was my idea of a top professional. On my first visit, she listened carefully to my needs while administering the usual audiology test. She then recommended a high quality product from Phonak. When I went home, I began to research the product and found that it indeed would meet my needs as described. Lynn and I shared several emails as I attempted to understand the new product better. Yesterday. Lynn delivered my Phonak Balero hearing aids. She spent an hour and a half carefully training me to use all the features. She is also meeting with me in 2 weeks to check out how it is working for me. I would highly recognize Lynn as the kind of audiologist anyone, of any age would enjoy working with.

All appreciate all the potion but the audiologist cause you to help me use his hearing aids on they are truly amazing but it’s time to move home to find out how to use the insufficient clean and she has really helped me do that thank you very

Industry-wide hearing aids are too expensive. Health insurance showed cover them. You can’t work in 99% of jobs and occupations if you can’t hear or at least understand spoken words and warning sounds. Most people who have hearing aids have them for that reason. Hearing loss is a major factor in isolation and depression, as well as cognitive decline. Hearing aids should be part of standard benefits. Cedar Audiology does what they can within their perimeters and their patient’s means. Extremely friendly and professional.

I cannot recommend this clinic, and Dr. Kim Gill in particular, highly enough. I had previously utilized the Cleveland Clinic Audiology Department but became frustrated with their lack of interest in finding the best solution for me. By contrast Cedar Audiology focused like a laser on my specific hearing needs. As a result I feel my hearing has been restored as close to normal as possible. Don’t go anywhere else!

Needed to replace the tube to the ear of one of my Resound hearing aides that were purchased a year ago in Cincinnati. Quick service for the replacement and then adjusted the maximum level for both sides. Dr. Gell showed me how to clean the battery compartments. Great friendly, professional service for a first time customer.

I have been going to cedar Audiology for seven years and have always found them to be professional, thorough, friendly and responsive. Whenever I call needing an appointment, I can get one, often on the same day. They offer great care at reasonable cost.

Helene has assisted me with my hearing loss for 21 years and I have always been very happy. She has been fair, informative, kind and caring. She has recommended suitable hearing aides and followed up with fine tuning adjustments as necessary. Booking an appointment on short notice has always been easy. I can personally recommend Cedar Audiology to anyone with hearing loss.

My hearing loss was first treated almost 40 years ago. Since then I have moved about the country for employment and have had the experience of working with many audiologists, often people associated with prestigious institutions. Most were good. When I moved to Cleveland I went to a highly recommended service and was satisfied until I got new, very expensive, aids that didnt work for me. After many visits during which the audiologist kept saying that she didnt know what I meant by stark sound and other descriptions, she finally told me that my problem was psychological. I stopped using my new aids, thinking that the brand was not for me. Then someone recommended Cedar Audiology. The issue was fixed in an hours time and I used the aids with ease after that! Cedar Audiology is by far the best audiology office I have ever encountered. They are knowledgeable, caring and patient-centered. It is clear that their primary motivation is for the patients to hear better according to their needs and budgets. They are not there just to sell hearing aids. The audiologists also recommend other devices besides hearing aids when that seems like a good idea. I now have newer aids, an FM device for meetings and restaurants and a phone that works directly with my hearing aids. I have also become an advocate for the installation of induction loops for hearing aid wearers in public places. Cedar Audiology has one in their waiting room for people to try out! I highly recommend this place for quality and compassion.

I have been seeing Lynn Salzbrenner at Cedar Audiology for many years. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. She has worked with me to fine tune my aides to meet my home, work and social environments. The entire staff at Cedar Audiology is great. Lynn has always taken me on time and gives me a generous amount of time to discuss all my concerns. The office is neat and clean and runs very smoothly.I have had a hearing loss since childhood, but did not start wearing hearing aides until I was about 40 years old. Up until that time I was able to manage and didnt think hearing aides were worth the investment. When I first tried hearing aides, I expected them to be like glasses. I expected the aides to correct my hearing so that I would hear like I see; 20/20 vision with my glasses. I realized however, that hearing aides are aides. They do not make my hearing perfect, but they do substantially make my hearing louder, crisper and clearer and therefore I catch allot more of what is said.I find so many people slowly drift away from fully engaging in conversations and social situations because of their hearing challenges. I did not want my world to become smaller because of my hearing loss. I am very upfront with clients and friends about my hearing loss and what helps me. Im always telling people, I hear, I just dont always understand. By making them aware of my hearing loss, I find they are more then willing to help me out; i.e. looking directly at me when they speak and not putting their hands or papers by their mouth. I make them aware of the fact that many people read lips, even those without a hearing loss. For people with a hearing impairment, seeing someones lips makes a huge difference in what they can understand.I recently purchased a new pair of hearing aides. Even after wearing aides for many years, I was hesitant to invest in a new pair. Mine were still working fine. Lynn allowed me to try out the new aides before committing to them, which of course was a huge help in feeling comfortable with the decision.I am so glad a took the plunge and purchased a new pair!!!!!!!!!!!! These are FAR better than what I have been wearing. They are so comfortable physically, that I often check to make sure they are in! The new aides are paired to my cell phone, so that I no longer use a blue tooth. Calls are received right into my hearing aides. The quality of the sound is great and people on the other end are hearing me great as well. I can also control the volume using my cell phone, which is very quick and convenient.I am so glad I stuck through the adjustment period all those years ago and became a hearing aide wearer and I am thrilled with my new aides. They are worth every penny!If you are considering hearing aides, I strongly recommend Cedar Audiology and remember: Hearing aides are aides. They will not make your hearing like 20/20 vision, but they will substantially improve your ability to understand others and that substantially improves your life!

About 3 years ago when I determined I could likely benefit from hearing aids I was overwhelmed trying to figure out where to start. So much conflicting information out there and even Consumer Report had multiple pages of fine print for product comparison. After I was referred to Cedar Audiology and started working with Kim it has been a breeze. A continued good experience.

Professional and thorough.

I was fitted with in-ear Apple Airpod adapters because the Airpods themselves would not stay in. My ear was too small and they would fall out very easily. The two-step process involved having my ear painlessly injection-molded and then a week later receiving soft plastic ear pieces that accept the Airpods and which go so perfectly in my ear that they can not fall out. They transmit sound in a way which I think is actually superior to the original intention of the device because the sound is transmitted deeper into the canal than the Airpods are capable of.

I went to Dr. Helene to get some ear impressions done for a pair of IEMs (in ear monitors = headphones) a few weeks ago. However, I held back on writing a review until I received them (and wore them for a few days to let my ears adjust to them) to see if they would fit well – and I was hoping for as close to a bionic fit as possible. Although I understand the one responsible for a good fit is somewhere between her and the people over at JH Audio actually building them, they both delivered on all fronts as I am extremely satisfied with the fit of my pieces.Dr. Helene was extremely pleasant, patient, and answered all of my questions very well. Her expertise was extremely apparent: she explained the whole process of taking impressions to me clearly so I knew what to expect, answered my questions regarding the best positions for the jaw to be in when taking impressions, used an epoxy specially designed so that my impressions would not deform in shipping, and used a method for taking the impressions that turned out very good (my proof is that even though I can be extremely fastidious in picking out flaws, especially when spending thousands of dollars on a product, the fit turned out very well). After taking the impressions, Dr. Helene could tell just by looking at the them that the left one wasn’t 100% to her satisfaction and had that side redone. Any other audiologist could have just sent you away and taken your money. Dr. Helene made sure it was done right.I highly recommend seeing Dr. Helene if you’re considering getting a pair of IEMs from JH Audio, UltimateEars, Heir Audio, Sensaphonics, Westone, 1964 ears, or any of the other great IEM manufacturers out there!
