What makes frozen custard so good?I ordered the vanilla custard in a dish and wow, this is really good! Sweet, creamy and smooth. Glad that I stopped here. I will be back. 👍🏽👍🏽😍

This is my favorite place in the whole entire world. I think about it everyday. I don’t even live in Mayfield anymore but I consider flying back quite often JUST to get East Coast. My favorite thing on the menu is definitely the concretes, but I change up the flavors and toppings every time. You can never go wrong with the birthday cake one. They’re also good with caramel sauce, peanut butter cups, everything. I go to bed every night thinking about EC and I wake up every day thinking about EC. My obsession is unhealthy, I recognize this, and I don’t care.

Great Place! Turtle sundae is one the best, also peanut butter Reese concrete.. A must visit place in Cleveland. 😋Very friendly and fast service. They limit the capacity in the store..

The concrete was too soft for my liking. I really wanted to love this place. Perhaps I just came on an off day. Since I was just passing through the area Ill probably never get a chance to try it again.

I really wanted to love the ice cream, but I have to say it was just average. When I think of a store that is titled “frozen custard” I want something that has a lot of texture and substance to it. I tried a birthday cake concrete but it was super light weight and soft. The whip cream was probably the best part :/ some pros about it was the place was clean and the ice cream was served quickly, and the ice cream didn’t make me feel super heavy/bloated. But overall I just felt like I paid $4 for average vanilla ice cream.

I love their custard. They always have friendly service and even when there is a line they get you in and out quickly. Also, the prices are reasonable and affordable.

Best ice cream (I know, its frozen custard, but still) in the area. The chocolate custard is a must. My go-to order is a chocolate concrete with peanut butter sauce.

I love love love their Jamaica Vegan Shakes, however this is the 3rd time this month that the customer service was appalling and people in line were shocked when they handed now a vegan shake dripping& I asked may I pls have another cup to cover the dripping & they handed it to me with no apology for1. The shake took 10 min to make & 4 people behind me received their sundaes and shakes & so I inquired if they forget my shake which they obviously did & no one said a word to me2. They handed me a shake that was dripping all over3. When I asked kindly for another cup to cover the dripping of the shake, the young man handed it to me with such an annoying look that the couple behind said “wow”.Each week when I go myself or with my kids or my friends, the staff is getting worse and worse & will truly bring down their awesome reputation.Very disappointed

Try the perfect banana split, I did and it was delicious. First time customer. The place was clean, staff was friendly and gave the sense they were pleased to help you pick the perfect treat for you. The parking lot could be a deterrant but trust, it is well worth it.

Never disappoints! I got a regular size concrete with M&M and heath bar there was so much candy in it! Dont let the long line deter you as it moves very fast. Great alternative to dairy queen which is right down the street.

Had a concrete their version of a blizzard from Dq. Pretty good not expensive at all. Seems to be a big hit for the after sport events in the area. Places to sit which is nice. Staff is pretty nice.

Very creamy excellent ice cream. The vanilla does not have a great amount of flavor. I prefer the chocolate.

I enjoy their vegan ice cream a lot! Sometimes the monthly online flavor listing does not match what is offered for the particular day in the store. Aside from that, the texture and flavor of the vegan ice cream is outstanding 🍨😊 only suggestion is the vegan lemon flavored ice cream needs a little more lemon flavor.

They have reaaaally good non dairy ice cream. I first tried it last year because they had an orange creamsicle flavor, it was absolutely amazing. They get one star from me because they no longer carry it (for whatever reason). They also have decided to do 6 out of 7 of their non-dairy flavors with some type of peanut butter, chocolate chip, or mint 🤢 I guess they just don’t consider the people that don’t like those things, and even worse sometimes.. they combine them 🤮. They have a blueberry non-dairy flavor that’s pretty good, but other than that.. nothing. I don’t know, maybe they’ll take customer suggestions or something and HOPEFULLY switch it up or at least bring back the orange creamsicle flavor. We’ll see.

Best quality ice cream in the mayfield area, east coast always delivers and they are open all year long, which is rare for a local ice cream place.

This place like others mentioned rotates flavors. I can see where it would be annoying but I actually like trying the new flavors each time. Tonight was coffee/toffee. Picture is of the Turtle. Next time I will try the buckeye one. Anyhow I didnt know how awesome custard was until moving to the east coast. If youre in the area you have to stop on. Parking sometimes is non existent and seating can be limited but its busy for a reason.

Pretty good options and good prices. Fairly quick service, but usually a line and wait. I love custard though, so soft and creamy, way better than hard ice cream. Only a select few flavors at a time but plenty of menu items for shakes and sundaes.

This was my first time here I always see the place busy during the evening time so I took a chance this afternoon I made my own shake with whatever I wanted in it which was cookie dough, blueberry and banana my most favorite and it was great!! I will be back .

I love that they still use local neighbor kids to staff it. Their flavors are always on point. Im not sure if they still offer this, but I used to get fat free, sugar free versions of popular flavors. Still tasty.

Fast friendly service and great frozen custard

This is an East Side staple and well worth a visit. Even on busy weekend nights the line moves quickly and creamy custard is worth the short wait. Sit on the benches outside and enjoy the delicious concretes, sundaes and cones. The high school kids behind the counter are always friendly and eager to please. Its always a great treat for my family to walk down to East Coast Custard and Id much rather go there than some chain store.
