Great little shop, and kind of a hidden gem. Good selection of knives and reasonably priced. The owner will let you handle any of the knives you are interested in and is great about answering questions so that you can make an informed choice. I had an issue with the knife I purchased, no fault of the shop, and I was able to make an exchange with no trouble.Also, for the record, I highly recommend purchasing a knife at a local shop like this one over shopping online, as you get the benefit of being able to see and touch the knife first, and if there is an issue its as easy as just returning to the store, instead of having to ship something back.

Cant say enough good things about this place! Purchased 10 knives for groomsmen gifts and had them all engraved with each guys initials. The engravings came out perfect! They were super helpful in helping me pick out the knives and theyre prices are very reasonable! This definitely wont be my last purchase from here!

Visited the shop yesterday for the first time. Awesome experience! Large selection of folding blades and many good ones to choose from. The owner of the store walked me through every display case he had and showed me any piece i wanted to see. He gave a little info or background story of each knife or brand i was interested in, obviously knows his stuff and has a passion for the knife hobby. Picked up a little USA Kershaw that has been on my list for a while now while for a very fair price. A fun time for sure and a five star experience. I’ll be back.

Stopped by for the 1st time on my birthday. Kevin was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and stayed 30 minutes past closing time. Awesome selection of cutlery! Will definitely be back for my next knife purchase!

Im within the 1 day shipping zone. I put my order in on the 16th (which are supposed to ship within 2 daysof the order being processed) it was not even entered and accepted until the 21st. I called the company and asked when I could be expecting my order, the man I talked to told me that it had shipped out the same day I spoke with him, to which he told me I would be receiving my package within the next day and if not by then the very latest would be the day after. Well here it is the 25th and it just now shipped out. I appreciate honesty and am a very understanding person what I cannot appreciate or understand is the company lying to me. This might be a one-time thing on their end but I definitelywill not be returning and will be doing business elsewhere.

This store really has it all for edc enthusiasts. The owner is remarkably helpful and isn’t one of those people that hover over you if you are browsing. The store is rather large and the space utilization Isn’t great, but there is a lot too look over. I will be back for my next edc knife purchase and I look forward to ordering through this venue rather than my box chain orders.

Stopped by today at 450. Wanted to look at reeve knifes and buy a benchmade 9400. Wasnt open. No sign up or anything. Pretty disappointed.Thanks for a note on the door though? Shouldnt have to call you back to your shop when you could have left a small note. I wouldnt have minded a wait which btw I did sit in the lot for about 5 minutes. Who leaves their shop in the middle of the day without a note. Yall wonder why people go to bladehq, or house of blades over the good mom and pop shops.

I was beyond blown away by the customer service and friendly greeting at One Stop Knife Shop. My wife and I visited 2 weeks ago for me to purchase a Chris Reeve Inkosi. The owner was beyond gracious and magnanimous. I have found my go-to brick and mortar store. Anyone within 100 miles of Lousiville who enjoys all things knives and cutlery owes themselves a drop-in to see what they have got. 5 stars doesnt do them justice.

Best variety of knives in one spot Ive ever seen. I was a little nervous upon entering. The shop looked like a tornado hit it but the salesman was knowledgeable courteous and very friendly. If you like knives youll be like me. A kid in a candy shop!

As another reviewer stated before, you wont be railroaded into anything you dont need. Its a great shop for all sorts of camping, emergency preparedness, and tactical gear too. I have been to this place on several occasions not knowing what kind of knife or bag I need. Every time I have been there I leave with exactly the right item for my needs and at a great price. Kevin who works there really knows his stuff and will never try to over sell you like so many other retail establishments. This store is amazing, and not just for the selection of sharp objects. The stock includes a variety of outdoors and high quality camping gear, very competitive pricing on rope and paracord, and an entire selection of first aid kits - real ones, not the band-aid and alcohol swab type that has largely taken over pharmacies and supermarkets. The owner is a treasure trove of good advice, and if theres kit you need that he doesnt carry he can tell you where to find it.

Checked all over Louisville for a reasonable place to shop for a new knife. Lots of other stores with horror story reviews and snobby managers. Landed on One Stop, which is in a pretty nice part of town. The shop itself is a bit disheveled, but has a great selection. Reminded me a bit of Doc Browns lab in BttF. Lots of cool stuff in there, and I could probably have looked around for at least an hour. Settled on a nice Benchmade Auto (yay Kentucky!), and came home to find out the price was stellar. Highly recommended.
