Service writer was extremely rude, condescending and argumentative. I listened to him speak this way to the couple in front of me, and it was the same with me. Vehicle was purchased elsewhere, but its covered under GMs nationwide warranty (truck is 2 months old). When I made the appointment I explained the truck was purchased in Maine, and the repairs it needed. Regardless of where the vehicle was purchased, the attitude of this guy was unwarranted. If you hate your job that much, maybe its time for a career change. Ill never return to a Pride dealership

The absolute worst experience I have ever experienced with a car dealership. The purchasing of the vehicle was lengthy and several issues occurred. I have since had several issues since purchasing my car a year ago. The service center is terrible. I had an issue with my vehicle, dropped it off since I paid extra for the extended warranty, come to find out the issue I had wasnt covered. Paid for the service, it is what it is. 24 hours later, same issue happens, my car died on the highway, paid out of pocket for a tow. Was told to tow the car to the service center, I get the car there, I explained that I cant be without a car again as it took a week to fix the issue last time and I was without a vehicle. So i was told to rent a car and the dealership would reimburse me. Come to find out, the only approve certain vehicles. I was not informed of this before I left the service center. Was told they would go ahead and reimburse me and would bring it to a manager. I have made several attempts to speak to them in the regards to this and still not resolved! TERRIBLE! I would not recommend!

It took 2.5 hours, which wasnt the worst thing. I dont believe they performed the multi-point inspection. I was only charged for the oil change anyway, but thats not the only thing I expected. Also, when I checked in I asked for my wiper blades to be changed and they were not. They seemed really backed up, so I think they just did a rush job. I hope the oil was actually changed.

This Monday I bought a 2021 Chevy equinox the Chevy pride the Lynn the managers at the beginning offer you all the “help” but be careful when making your purchase for the glass of the front doors it has circles like spots if you see it from the front good but when you see them from one side you can see the stains, unfortunately I realized the next day to see I made the purchase so I saw it at night but the next day in the morning I saw the stains I tried. to talk to the manager to see if he could help me with that and he told me that he could not do anything imagine a new car of the year and with defects in the glass of the front doors I wanted to return the car but they tell me that it could not be Thats why people who want to buy a 2021 Chevy Equinox be careful before signing any paper for the Chevys no longer help you and say that it is something aesthetic

I am not the easiest person to deal with under stress. So when my car began overheating on Saturday with 30 minutes until the rental place closed you can imagine how unpleasant I was. Miles in service (Lynn Ma) showed me SO much patience and rushed me right over to Hertz on time. Once there I realized I didn’t have my CC on me and Miles used his credit card for the ‘hold’ they place when renting a car (Chevy covered all costs of the rental) what he did goes far beyond what is expected with him and I couldn’t have been more grateful!!!

On 8/21/2020 I found a piece of metal in my tire I needed to get it fixed fast so I called Pride Chevrolet they scheduled me to come in I was very pleased and satisfied with the very friendly and professional service from my service writer Roy and I also would also like to thank the terrific mechanic who worked on my truck today and did an oil change and found out my tire was not cut from the metal I can always say all the staff at Pride Chevrolet service department are always very kind helpful and professional when I go there for service all the time! If I could give this location a NEGATIVE stars I would ! Go ANYWHERE else but here. The staff including the managers are extremely disrespectful and not helpful at all. This was my second time purchasing a car at this location and I had the same issues I had the first time. The staff forgot/didn’t add certain details to my deal and I was getting an overdue bill from GM financial which the dealership had agreed to pay and DID NOT FOR the SECOND time ! This had an impact on my credit and I have been trying to resolve this issue and have been calling for TWO WEEKS and the staff including the General managers do not call me back with answers and do not answer the phone (let it go straight to voicemail) ! I had to physically show up to the dealership and take time off work only to find out that their general manager was not there and that they STILL could not help me! The sales manager just literally gave me blank stares and told me he could not help me. I truly do not understand why they have the staff that they do and can’t understand how/why they treat their costumers this way ! NEVER AGAIN!!I will also like to note that I purchased my car in November 2020! And it took 3 weeks for me to get the vehicle 3 weeks ! It is now April 2021 and I am still dealing with a deal that was made in November !!!!!!This staff need to all engage in some intense level of customer service training because they are lacking in this area tremendously!!!!!

My experience at Chevrolet PRIDE on 12/18/2020 is terrible, This dealership does false adversing just to get you in the door. Terrible service.Unprofessional sales person smoke every 2 minutes and we have to wait for him, like we have nothing to do, When you go in they act like they dont need your business. Will go someplace else with my money. This place is awful. Then a sales manager was nice in the phone before I make appointment when I show up to my appointment No even say Hi or anything she’s was with a cold cold shoulder, and By the way the place was empty only me and my friend we try to buy 2 cars, 1 pick up truck and 1 suburban 2021 .my experience here to my friends and family and people that ask me about any dealership and i will make sure that i will tell them my experience with pride Lynn.

Every time I brought my car in for service,I was NEVER covered by my warranty. When I got a flat I found out I didnt even have a donut, thank God for AAA. They also told us we didnt have gap insurance,as it turned out,we did. There was also an issue with $1400.00 . They said they sent it to the bank because we had a lein, I never had a lein in my life. My atty. Is looking into this issue Ive had my car for less than a year, And already put about 5 grand worth of work into it. Stay far away from this place.

It was not Prides fault that it took almost 11 weeks for GM to deliver a replacement windshield (that wasnt delivered broken), but it was Prides fault that my windshield was broken in the first place (by a clumsy mechanic during a recall repair). And I was not in love with the loaner Chevy Trax I was given for most of that time (the Impala and Equinox I had for a total of about 4 weeks were fine). So 4 stars for handling a difficult situation and 1 star for getting into that situation equals 2.5 stars (rounded up to 3).

I now have a car with a mileage discrepancy on its history records.I understand COVID is impacting operations in MA, but I cant even get an answer of when I can expect this error to be looked at. Multiple calls, multiple emails, and no one at Pride can seem to take the time to give me a response with specifics. I just dont want to be kept in the dark.We are all being impacted by this and my situation could change too. I need this fixed before too long a time passes and it becomes more difficult. I will update my review when Pride helps me fix this.===========================================================Original Review: Bit of a lengthy review here, but Id like to try and dispel some of the poor ratings Pride Chevrolet seems to have on Yelp and Google.I had my eye on a gently used 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS that Pride Chevrolet had for a decent chunk of change less than what they typically go for with such low mileage. I reached out via Cars.com and spoke with Falyn who was prompt to respond, polite, and respectful.I drove down on Sunday to see the car and was met by a Kim who I ended up working with through the process. She was absolutely delightful; no pressure, easygoing, accommodating, interested only in selling the vehicle if its what I wanted. Sure enough, I fell for the Camaro and had a deal that was even better than what I expected that Tuesday.Im out of state and live in NH; Pride was fantastic with handling all of the paperwork and state line stuff, a special shoutout to Tom for assisting with all of the driving and registration, he was very accommodating, easy to talk to, and made it as simple as it could be. There will always be more to handle with an out of state purchase, just how it is.Pride Chevrolets Google and Yelp reviews arent exactly fantastic, but I had an experience that doesnt reflect these views, so heres a couple things Id like anyone to consider going to Pride, but these are true for any dealership.1) Be respectful. If you walk in with a chip on your shoulder, or expecting them to give you the moon, youre going to have a bad time. Treat the people nicely and theyll do the same.2) Its a car dealership. Theres negotiation and haggling. Thats how it is, a dealership needs to make profit on sales to operate. Be reasonable, be firm but respectful, and youll have no issues.3) Know your credit. I have a sense some people are upset with the deals they get because their credit isnt great. Know where you stand so you know what to expect when it comes time to talk numbers.Overall, my experience with Pride Chevrolet was top notch. Dont let the Yelp reviews or some of the Google reviews scare you off. Buying a car is a lengthy process and I have a feeling some people get turned off by things that are just nature of the beast. Pride Chevrolet took great care of me. Be respectful, be polite, be reasonable, give them a chance to work with you and youll get a great experience!

I had a leak under the cam shaft. They took the water pump out and replace the seal. That was 379 only for the seal. I got home without water again. Took it back in for an extra 189. I offer to give me back the money so I can take it somewhere else but they dont do that. The sonic 2015 only has 5900 miles and I thought it would be under warranty. That is 568 for a water pump in a sonic.

We bought a car for $8k, they quietly added over 3k in financing fees (which were not made clear until we came back to pick up the car we have waited almost half a month for) and then fixed the car up before handing it over. We were quoted less than a week and it took them over 2 weeks and it looks like they vacuumed it and maybe said nice things to it. Our 60 day warranty came up a couple weeks ago and then we started having engine problems. They do a great job and talking fast and getting you out the door.Shame on me for buying a car in Lynn.

Worst dealership I ever had to deal with!! In short they lied to me twice in regards to my loan, gap insurance, my interest rate, they lied to me in service about getting the right code and ordering a part they never did! I put $8k on my first car that was admitted by the stage to fit the lemon law and I was laughed at when I brought that to the GM’s attention at the time! So after a year and a half of arguing! I hear they caught the GM and Finance manager scamming people as far as loans, extended warranty’s, lying about putting gap insurance on my vehicle! Also, lying to me when I asked them to please not sell me a previously rented vehicle and that’s exactly what they did! The new GM after those 2 were fired called me after about 6 months and me writing the truth like I am here! He called me and told me to come in. I went in he said you can get another car, we will pay off the loan but we can’t give you your $8k in cash or any part of it back to you! I said well then that’s not really taking the car back completely is it? He told me that I had that night to pick a vehicle and that night only or I was stuck with the Ford escape! I chose a 2016 jeep renegade again it was a rented vehicle from Hertz enterprise like the Ford escape was a previously rented vehicle and I didn’t find out until everything was signed except for the title. I just went and checked to see about my gap insurance and they tell me that I don’t have any gap insurance on my jeep but I did have it on my Ford escape. That’s funny because I didn’t even know what gap in Sherance was when I got the Ford escape nor was it offered to me the finance manager at that time just shows an extended warranty which was the most expensive one without even showing me any of the plans! The same thing was done the second time they showed us different plans but the Best of the best was what was put on in the end! Show my payments went up considerably due to this mess and both loans I had looked at and I was told by the new general manager himself on the first loan that it would take 20 to 30 years to pay it off the way the interest is structured and it was the same thing with the loan he set me up with and he even told me a different interest-rate on me and my wife than what it really was! So now I have no gap insurance which is ridiculous because I absolutely was adamant about it and the general manager at the time when I got the jeep showed me when I was signing the gap papers and even had me back in when he got the policy to show me my gap policy on my jeep but I’m being told by my lender my extended warranty provider that I have no gap insurance at all and by the dealership but I had it on my Ford escape which is funny. If you want to get ripped off then go to pride Chevrolet or any of the Pride dealerships! Once they have your money they could care less what happens to your car or to you!! I can’t wait to have nothing at all to do with them!!

The service and parts department here are top notch. I own an 89 Corvette that needed a recall done on its seat belts to pass inspection. I tried 3 other dealerships, as well as calling GM directly over the course of a year, and none of them could help. Pride was not only able to source the parts quickly, but did an excellent and fast install and took great care of my car. No games, no excuses, just friendly people and great service. If it ever needs service again, itll definitely be back.

My son finally found his dream car and reached out to Pride to make sure it was available. He spoke with Ed at 9:05 AM today. He stated that the car was available and that someone’s deposit fell through so we could come down. My son agreed and told him they would be there around 10:30 AM as we live in Worcester. My son and husband jumped in the car and headed to Lynn. Upon arrival, my husband was advised that someone called in a deposit at 9:30 and the car was no longer available. This is completely unprofessional and the 2+ hour drive round trip could have easily been avoided with a phone call or maybe even some decency in awaiting his arrival. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement.

Upon arrival I stood waiting while 2 men in an office conversed and looked at me but did not greet me or ask to assist. Then when 2 other customers came in they asked them if they could be helped. Extremely rude and cant even understand that honestly. I stated I was here first and only then did he ask me how he could assist. This was not the gentleman that eventually helped me. The gentleman that helped me was very professional and courteous. I waited for a reasonable amount of time for the service and was ok with that. The car was parked far away after the service and I did not know where it was. The gentleman helped me after I asked where it was. I am not sure why it wasnt where I left it right in the drive up area so it would be apparent. I guess my experience was alright but definitely not outstanding. Pride Chevrolet can do muuuuch better.

The Service center is usually okay although a few times they didnt fix what was supposed to get fix. Or we brought the car to be inspected and it didnt get inspected. Updated 06/09/2020. Came for an oil change and tire rotation. After I left my car started making strange sounds when I made a turn. I thought I had ran over a curb it was so loud. Then I kept hearing something metal like rolling around and then grinding from the right rear tire. And the same tire locked up on me a couple times. I called and asked them if I could.bring the car back seeing they were going to be closing in 30 mins. I explained to.them what was happening. They seem to have a general idea of what happened aka the mechanic put something on wrong. I have to say as much as I have never had a bad experience here. It was pretty disappointing that this happened. Luckily I hadnt strayed to far from the dealership and didnt ever had to exceed like 35 mph. I dont want to know what could have happened at highway speeds.

Outstanding attention to detail. Smooth transaction. Excellent in every way. I had very specific commercial vehicle needs. They found what I needed, were very careful to communicate throughout the process. Once the van arrived is was made available in record time, despite challenges with the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Recommend very highly. Tony and Marged were fantastic to deal with.

Scheduled an appointment for inspection of a slow leak in tire. Arrived at my appointment. Waited 1 hour in the waiting area only to ask about the status and see my truck still sitting where I left it. No one updated me that service was behind, or suggesting that I may want to get picked up instead of waiting around for an hour while my truck sits. I took my truck and had it serviced elsewhere. Lack of appropriate Customer Service was clear.

I just had a terrible experience at PRIDE. I made an appointment two weeks ago to return my lease. The reason I am returning my lease it because I am active duty military and I am getting deployed. There is a military clause in my lease. I showed up to my appointment to a friendly sales person. However once we went inside the show room (which apparently they are not supposed to be doing) I heard the manager being extremely rude, He was saying offensive things about me with in my ear shot and with out even looking at it shouted we are not buying a truck. It is a lease through GM who states you can return the vehicle to any dealership. Pride is a GM dealership. He continued to say rude things in the back room. When i asked to speak with him or for his name he refused, He refused to take back a vehicle from and active duty military member who was deploying when legally according all policies in place he was supposed to, Then on top of that he was offensive and rude. If you support our first responders and military members I would not shop here. They are not following covid policies also

I had service there 2 weeks ago and I received excellent customer service from the service staff. The service manager Alex was very understanding to my car issue. He worked with me and I was able to get my car fixed in no time. I have been a loyal customer to Pride Chevrolet in Lynn for 6 years. I will not go anywhere else. I was given a time frame of 1 day for a diagnostic on my truck I call the 2nd day I couldnt get anyone to answer 3rd day finally someone pickup the phone and they had done nothing to the truck yet, I can undertand being busy and all but just dont commit to something you can not get done... had to pick up the truck with nothing done and 3 wasted days, I don not recommend this dealer go else were.
