They supposedly fixed my car that had a flashing check engine light and got paid $700 for it. We pick it up thinking its good, we drive off for the engine to fail completley 5 minutes up the road.

My BMW broke down so I told her at night and left the key in the drop. By the afternoon they told me I needed a new engine, The Opened up the engine and showed me what was wrong. It was a very big job and I needed to get back home. They got the car running in less than a week, and quoted me $6000 less than the dealer. Amazing job, now my car works great.

Owner Sam kicked me out his shop when I called him out on his slick deceiving ways. As you can see on the picture he told me the truck was fixed. below my trucks front left side is leaning hard and I am unable to drive because of that. I took it back and he won’t honor Meineke warranty. I have a video of him trying to rip my receipt in pieces. As the owner of the place he is the face of the establishment and should lead by example on what customer service is. I genuinely tell you not to come to this place to get your car fixed. 🙏🤯

The owner of this Meineke Car Care Center is a man named Sam. He has helped me with several issues I had with my Mini Cooper. Sam does fast quality work and for a fair price. He even gave me a free loaner car while some of the work was being done. I was so impressed with Sam and his crew that I went back for a new set of tires. He got them quickly and I was only without the car for 1-2 hours. Sam is also a very pleasant man with a good sense of humor. I would highly recommend his business. Good work Sam!

My lexus failed inspection because of the check engine light. meineke was recommended by a friend went there. staff was friendly. Ahmed explained to me what it takes to diagnose the problem causing the check engine light. professional, an polite.

In the last 5 months Ive had to visit Ahmed around 4 to 5 times (not due to the quality of their work but because Im a bad car owner). Each time I went it was clearly explained to me what the issues were based on immediate repair and things that would need my attention at some point.His team was very helpful with getting everyone done in a reasonable time and has always been pleasant and friendly.Id certainly recommend their service to anyone looking for repairs.

I went in for an oil change and they did it super fast. The guy at the front desk was very helpful. I had to leave the first time and I ended up coming back a week later and he still had all my paperwork ready to go. My oil change was completed in less than 30 minutes and I went about my day. Great service! I appreciate it. I also drove down from Boston and I will continue to do so for future oil changes. Highly satisfied. Thank you guys so much!

My car was towed there late on a Saturday. No problem, they did the repair at a very fair price. Customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend Meineke. I will be back again.

I gotta say, I was pretty scared to bring my car in for a muffler repair but Sam and the boys down at Meineke in Lynn put all of my fears in a box and threw ‘em away! I got quality service with great communication and complete transparency. I’m telling yah, I’d brake my muffler all over again just to bring my car back to this fine establishment.

Called them about a half hour before closing just to see the price of an oil change. The first one they answered but didnt speak and so I figured we had a bad connection. the second time I call, they just didnt answer. Apparently they didnt want my business

My nieghbor took his 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer to get fixed. He drove it to the shop. After spending $1,500 he was told the car doesnt run and he needed to spend more money to get a diagnostic. Unfortunately he didnt have any more money. The owner told him the engine is gone and recommended he signed the title over to him. He did. A week or two later my nieghbor finds out the car is running nicely and the Meineke owner is selling the car for $4500.I called the cooperate Meineke office to make a complaint. Meineke corporate told me thiers nothing they can do for my Nieghbor and they would speak to the owner

Two reasons I will never go back here:1) Quoted me for $800 over the phone but said it was $1400 when I got there.2) The main guy called me Honey every time we talked but suddenly remembered my name when I told him I had a husband.My advice to anyone going here is get a quote in writing ahead of time and ladies-- make your husband take the car in. This location seems to have more respect for men than women.

Eric and Sam did an outstanding job fixing my Jeep. They went over everything related to my check engine light and my suspension concerns. way below what other shops quoted me. They recommended what lift kit to install and bypassed my o2 sensors to get my light to shut off. They kept me up to date during the whole procedure. Painless. Best shop in the area

Took my Land Rover in because I was told the manager used to own a LR shop. He assisted me quickly and the owner Samah was very acclimated to the needs of my vehicle. The manager was concise and beyond fair with his pricing. Recommend this shop to everyone on the North Shore. The manager utilizes his high line vehicle contacts to get high quality components at a fraction of the dealer costs. Could not be happier. Great job guys

I been a loyal customer for the past 5 years I’ve been experienced something with them before but nothing like I experienced today I’ve never been complaining about them even sometimes they over charged me or fix something that didn’t fix, Keep on going for the same exact problem. but I keep going there only for oil change now because they do it faster than others placed. Just to continue I’ve had great experience with them and also bad experiences. Went for oil change on Saturday afternoon they changed my oil but did not change my oil filter I found out when I get home because I have to open the hood to fix one of my headlights which I didn’t wanna to get charge for it because I always have extra headlight inside of my car. When I call the guy to tell him that they didn’t change my oil filter it’s was already late on Saturday and he tell me brought the car on Monday we going to change it for you as soon as I bought the car the guy get under the car put oil around the filter clean it with a tower right in-front of me and said look it’s new and I tell him you just clean it in-front of me of course It going to look new, they put a new one without charging the oil and tell him this is bad business I will never coming here for anything else then both guy started yelling get out of here and please don’t come here anymore I tell him I just told y’all I’m not going to come here anymore. When y’all go for oil change make sure they change the filter, or they will rip you off, they also been known for rip off people, loss a loyal customers they will never get back I’m going to cancer the account I also have with them.

I felt very comfortable at this Meineke. I didnt think they were trying to rip me off, which is how I feel when I go to a dealership. Ahmed and his team got my work done when promised to and very quickly! 100% will return 👍

Really cares that the work is done right!! I was pleasantly surprised. My son had his car worked on here and i watched as the owner personally dealt with the customers. The receptionist was friendly and readily available.

I went there at the end of July to have brakes rotors and pads done I went back three different times because of the high pitched whistle blowing sound its making since having them done..I was treated like it was a joke yes they put it back up on the lift and quieted the sound which came back within days. Three times on my days off finally I called the corporate office which was another run around for a month only to be told very rudely that they will not refund my money after the man I was had be dealing with told me they had to refund it...Will never go there again. Still having the problem since they wont refund me have no choice but to try a different location before the warranty runs out.. dont ever go to the Lynn location its a SCAM!

I dont know why this place such a low rating, because guys other there really took care of me. If you need hustle free excellent service, it is a place to go! No brainier

Two years ago I went there to fix my cars muffler as it was making a horrible sound they charged me about $200 which was about right to replace the part damaged, a week ago i started to experience the same problem again soI went to an other shop nearby to fix the muffler again thinking it was an other part was the issue just to find out when the guy elevated the car that the part was the same I fixed at Meineke and in addition it was never replaced but welded 😡. I hope Meineke would take appropriate action against this type of behavior.They might got away with $200 but they lost a loyal customer forever by the way before the new manager took over I never had such problem with Ramon who was honest and nice

WARNING: Please do not go, this place in Lynn is a MASSIVE rip off!! To make a fair point, they charged me $1500 for a problem that which they couldnt identify of the cause- car idled, stopped in midway and had to wait 10-12 minutes to start again, to which they promised it wont happen again after charging me $1500. SURELY ENOUGH, within less than 5 minutes driving out of the shop, the exact problem reoccurred. (idled, engine stopped on Lynn way near KFC，WHICH IS LESS THAN 5 MINUTES AWAY) As I took it back, Sam, who claimed to be the owner, said that this was a new problem, and wanted to charge me another $200 for this new problem....long story short, I kept going back to them since they evidently couldnt fix this issue, although kept charging me. Meanwhile the SAME issue got worse, one night not only the engine started idling again, but this time the break also stopped working, car wont stop, almost got myself killed until I forced my car to stop by turning out the key.The owners name is Sam, do NOT trust him. He did not reimbursed or compensated me. Instead, he tried to avoid me by making me wait for over 5 hours (2pm to 7pm) in the waiting room. Finally, he made a promise to call me for a free oil change, the best he could do, to which he never did. WHAT A LIAR! I am currently in the process of filing a lawsuit against them.

Very long wait. I had to wait about 30 minutes for my oil change to be done, which isn’t too bad but still longer than usual. A man came back in with my keys and said it’s all set to the front desk woman, but the front desk was too busy discussing Find My IPhone and an Apple ID to care about work. I waited at least 5 minutes to then ask one of the workers “Am I all set?” He said “you should be I don’t know” he went to ask the original front desk woman who again was busy discussing something other than work, like “can I leave now? I need to be somewhere.” I’ve gotten an oil change plenty of times locally, and majority of the time I don’t even have to leave the car! I just stay out with my daughter in the back seat and it’s done within 15-20 mins and I just drive off. Horrible. Unprofessional

Charged me for all 4 tires to be balanced but did only front 2 . Make sure you guys check your car before take it back from em’ .

I chose this place to perform a pre-purchase inspection of a used car which I planned to buy. The owner was kind and gave his honest opinion about the car. He gave a detailed report of what needs to be immediately replaced and what was ok. I purchased the car on this inspection and pretty happy with it. The total time I was here was around 2 hours. The overall service was good and would visit again if needed.

I really don’t write reviews but this needs to be done. I went in for my exhaust system to be installed and ended up paying 800 dollars and it wasn’t even connected. I went to lous custom exhaust and they fixed everything for free. I didn’t even bother going back because they clearly have no clue what they’re doing.

Sameh and his team provide exceptional service. I needed to have my brakes looked at and Sameh provided me with a complete description of what parts needed to be replaced on my vehicle and what the cost would be right from the beginning. His team is made up of very hard-working individuals who make sure the job is done right. Who can ask for anything more?

I appreciated how people-oriented the owner was. About 5 weeks ago, I brought my car into this shop because one of the windshield wipers were not moving at all. In my mind, I thought that the problem was going to be an easy fix. To my shock, after the diagnostics were done, the problem was more gigantic and more expensive that I thought. And, on top of that, I only had enough money in my pocket to cover the fees for the diagnostics. Long story short, they fixed the problem, but I had no money to pay for the services rendered (the device that was responsible for the wipers mobility or upward and downward motion was broken). The cost for the repair was close to $500.00. Remember, I had only $80.00 in my pocket. The owner swiped a debit card that I gave him to take the money, but the bank was not willing to pay the amount and hit me with an overdraft fee. I gave him a second card, and I went through the same issue. What shocked me is that during these two attempts, the owner kept reassuring me that hed work with me by saying, No problem.We fix every problem. He ran my credit, but that didnt work either. God works in mysterious ways. Finally, I gave him my mothers bank card, and the owner was only able to get $200.00 as a payment. Therefore, I was left with a balance of close to $300.00. May I add that the owner never once became impatient with me, nor did he ever become unpleasant. After making a few phone calls, my wifes cousin ended up lending me the remaining balance, which the owner took over the phone. The professionalism the owner portrayed that day is the main reason why I am giving his store 5 stars, and, the wiper has been working fantastically since then.

Over charge for simple repairs. I needed to change my rear brake pads (which i could have done myself but was lazy). They wanted $400 just for the back wheels.

Horrible. Brought my car for a SIMPLE oil change. Which comes with topping off all my fluids and rotating my tires. Come to find out they didnt even attempt to rotate the tires because the bolts were swollen, all my fluids were empty and my oil light came on 2 days later. So pretty sure they just kept my money and didnt even bother with doing anything to it. Never again.

I brought my car to them because it died and wouldnt start even with a jump. They replaced my battery and charged me $260. When I picked it up, the battery light was still on. I told them and they had the mechanic look at it. He wiggled some wires and got it to turn off. Well, flash forward 2 weeks and the same issue happens again. my car dies and I have it towed back to them because they clearly didnt fix it. Turns out, the alternator was bad - why they didnt check this the first time I have no idea. The car is old and its not worth it to fix it so I said thanks but no thanks. They are insisting that I pay a $89 diagnostic fee. WHAT?? I already paid $260 and the problem wasnt even solved. The fact that they didnt check the alternator the first time is a big red flag. Save your money and hassle and go somewhere else. This place is full of CROOKS.

BEST REPAIR SHOP!! Affordable, Quick, Honest & TOP-QUALITY WORK!! My GO-TO place from now on👍- My mechanic couldnt fix my O2 sensor so he suggested I go here.. great suggestion! Rather than replace o2 sensor they were able to repair it, saving me Huge $$! Before starting they took me under my car on lift & showed me what what my options were, from what should b done to minimum amount needed so I can save $!- The owner Sammy is a great guy who is open, honest & friendly..unlike most shops that treat u like n idiot lol. Sammy even helped me find a loaner car to use for day til mine was done 😁 I have an old car, 2005 Maxima, & thanks to this place Ill easily get a few more years out of it!!- Definitely try this place for ur next repair, they can fix anything. U will not regret it!!

The Manager/owner over there is just terrible and a fraud. I was charged a fee that never came up because I decided not to work my car in their shop. The owner/manager brought a fee of $89 for vehicle analysis just i decline fixing my car there.He also went ahead to charge a credit card he opened under my name in his shop without my authorization..I regret even going near to that shop and never in my life time will I visit or refer this mechanic shop to anyone. Run and never look back

The owner and his employees are very nice people but at the same time they are a complete rip off!!! One of my exhaust clamps broke causing my exhaust to drag on the ground. I needed a place that would take me right then and there along with being very close to where I was. They fixed the clamp which was arond $300 but I still had an exhaust leak. So when I had a chance I brought it back to them which the fixed a few other parts of the exhaust by time they were done all the noises were gone but the exhaust was so loose that it was bouncing around while driving. This repair cost me about another $300 +. Now I have to get the whole exhaust replaced because they screwed up the entire job. Im not impressed and will never go back to them again!!!!

Im sorry but I have to say it I did twice oil change every time I want there they forget to close the cover engine so I stopped going there and i divide to not going there any more intel I broke down it was fuel pomp it was the closest Mecanic and I talk to them to do a good job for this Time and guess what ? They left something open on fuel pomp when I filled the gaz it was all over the floor and liking bad so I dont really recommend you to go there because they chilly jobs they look only for money. I took my car for service, they told me i had an electrical problem and it would cost me 700$, i didnt have the money at that time, so i put down 500$ and did an oil change, we agreed upon raising the diffrence they would fix the problem, upon leaving that place, my car broke down, the clutch was gone, it was going to cost me onother 700$ so i decided not to fix the car, i went and financed for a new car cause i thought 1400$ was too much to spend on fixing the car, i went back to the store to collect the down payment i had put down only to be told that they dont do refunds, this place is a complete rip off, am not going to rest untill i get the refund back, they are thieves who pry on unsuspecting customers

I didnt like this location. They claimed they did an oil change, but my vehicle was showing, needs oil, when I started my car and drove away. They wanted me to do a more expensive oil change, even though I had a free oil change voucher.

Brought my 94 geo prizm in to get the flex pipe welded and fixed because it completely came off. They charged me $240 to do a weld that a toddler could do which only held for 3 months. Horrible at what they do and I dont recommend wasting your money here.
