The staff here is always so friendly and welcoming and they try and get you the highest value for your item. They also send reminders when you’re about to be past due for a loan which is extremely useful as many of us can easily forget when the due date is up. I would recommend this place not only for loans, selling items, but also buying jewelry and other items they have in stock. I myself have gotten many loans as well as bought and various rings from this location I would 5/5 highly recommend it.

Selva is the best! She is beautiful and professional. She was a great help got me in and out as quick as possible. I would recommend her to anyone trying to sell jewelry or to get a loan. I will definitely be back to see her again ;)

We went into Empire Loan in Lynn to pawn about 6 pieces of 18K and 14 K gold chains and charms. The woman was extremely rude to us! She wouldnt accept my boyfriends expired ID even though there is a law that the Registry of Motor Vehicles is allowing expired IDs to be used for 1 year because they were closed for months because of COVID. Then she only offered us $25 per peice when they have given us way more than that in the past so we asked for the gold back and we were gonna go somewhere else and she literally threw the gold so fast under the window and with such force that the gold went on the floor! VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!

I walked into Empire Loan and right away was greeted by one of the tellers. I was greeted with a smile by 2 other woman who worked there, acknowledging my presence right away. The gentleman I dealt with was polite and informative, being that this was my first time there. I walked in and out within 10 minutes with what I needed. Would come back again. Thank you.

These people are really nice and in the past when I needed a few bucks you might cost me maybe 40 bucks to get bailed out for 600 that I needed at the time . The deal you get here borrowing money against whatever you want to put up as collateral is the best in the whole area. Now Im back on top I want to buy lets say a 14 carat gold bracelet .. Well they remember me and give me a great deal... I just bought another necklace that was going for $540... they sent me a birthday text and I get it for 40% off at $325So if you want to go ahead and waste your time to borrow against something you iwn for maybe a month or two when you need liquidity .. you can call one place that will charge your 35% interest.. Another that has some other gimmick to screw you or Empire that is straightforward.. They Give you 4 months to pay whatever off and then if you dont have the money at that point renew it for another 4 months. Out of every place Ive found (and Ive researched about every one of them) this is the #1 place where you are not going to get, pardon the expression, bent over. You can and maybe should do the work to find out for yourself but I already have .....These people are great, trustworthy and theyre there to do honest business not to try to screw you. You couldnt ask for more.

Very courteous worker, he helped me through process quickly and efficiently. I had my child with me and all the workers behind the counter were very sweet to him. The amount they offered was a lot lower than i would have wished but i understand its a business and they need to make a buck. I needed money that day and left with cash so no complaints.

I just called this place, the 8th of pawnshops Ive contacted about rings I lost. They not only let me email them information about the rings but I got a very helpful automated email back explaining how pawnshops report and hold items for a period of time and interact with the police and that theres a searchable New England State Police Information Network. They added the process of what I should do. What a blessing! The police wouldnt even bother to explain what pawn slips are. Thanks, guys. Youre the best.

Empire Loan is more than a jewerly/Loan shop. I have been going to them since 1998(even though the record says 2003!). The staff that was working in the Boston store is still with them today. These people have been there for me and my family for the good, bad and ugly. Bob and Neil and so many others are more than just employees at a pawn shop. They are like family to us. They have been there during our darkest of times and celebrated our greatest moments. Bob helped my now husband pick out our wedding rings! Neil was there when I need to pay an attorney to fight for my sons medical treatments. To know that you have honest, reliable and caring people to always be there for you says that they are not just employees at some store. That’s how I describe my family and friends. I will always go to Empire for jewerly, repairs, tools and when we run into hard times and when we are celebrating our good times. I recommend them to anyone that is looking to have someone in there corner they can count on! I have a long history to prove this.
